Well this is a pure psytrance album from Space tribe that will never be an essential. Track 1 Out Of Control: pretty boring opener, nothing really happening in this track except some cool snares... 4.5/10 Track 2 Echoes In Eternity: this is a decent track and more varied than track 1... 6.5/10 Track 3 Kickin Up Some Dust remix: Ok but some parts of the track are a bit cheesy. 6/10 Track 4 Taking A Risk: what risk? this sounds pretty generic for Space tribe's standards... 4.5/10 Track 5 Live And Let Live: Good track - i like the title name - it's really psychedelic and I like the dark atmosphere... 7.5/10 Track 6 The Elixir Of Life: some cool snares and 303...the end of the track gets a bit more interesting... 6.5/10 Track 7 Think-k-k: perhaps the most creative track of the album, still sounds typical Space Tribe. Samples get a bit repetitive but solid track... 7/10 Track 8 Secrets Of The Universe: something doesn't work in the 1st half, not sure what, why, but...then it gets a tiny bit more interesting. 5.5/10 Track 9 What Is Conciousness: the traditional useless downtempo track not that it is bad, but who will remember... 5/10 On the whole this is inferior to Space tribe's previous albums (Sonic Mandala, 2000 O.D. to name just two), less inspiration here. Sure the mastering is better than his earliest works, and it has its moments but still I wouldn't recommend a buy, or a cheap buy only. Final rating: 5.75 /10

I don't really like Pathfinder anymore, I used to like it but now I just find it too damn repetitive, it's just too long. I can't really say which artist is similar, like you said Chi-AD had so much variety it's hard to find similar artists. Blue planet corporation maybe when it comes to morning goa tracks.

yeah funny you mention this i typed this message a few weeks ago I think Eye am the I might be the most unique goa track ever made. My top 3 changes a lot but it includes Eye am the I, Anno domini, Exit eternity, Hammerhead, Liquid neon sky.

Underrated compilation, the tracks are around 120 bpm more or less, very trippy stuff. A must have IMO.

Yeah the winter solstice which is the shortest day of the year, and summer solstice. Anyway nothing special about this track, not his best.

The best SFX track still remains Y-Salem, imagine if they changed the kickline to a more powerful one ...but it's still one hell of a beautiful track.

Maybe you should check the whole discography of COSMIC BABY. They (he?) got so many tracks that sound very old, maybe dig on youtube and find some you might like.

oho!! for some whatever reasons I only listened to 1 track from you until today and it was the one that was selected to be in Sideffect's tribute compilation. I liked the track I thought it was good. But this! Man your music is awesome! I love the spirit of it, it has a kind of "simplicity" in a good way, it doesn't try to sound "original", "different" or whatever but I feel like it is very "genuine" and made with lots of passion. Some of the tracks are bombs! Keep it up and thanks for sharing, will be in my playlist for a while i think

Moonweed tracks are so psychedelic man! the collaboration with Shakta is awesome and "Jaunt" is haunting! and wow this "Brainstorm" Live mix, great job. Only average track is the 1st one by Perfect rainbow and I also didn't fancy the kick in track 3, the track is nice but would be better with a different kick. Ufomatka's track is wicked, the Subcouds track remixed is amazing too. And I have to say the Tandu track is allright but nothing really stunning. Overall very nice CD, really like it solid stuff. Highly recommended. - 8.25 /10.

awesome coincidence ? ! haven't been listening to Necton - Children of the noizy village for a while, was just playing the CD and a quick look on Discogs says that here is a new album released in a few days ? http://www.discogs.com/Necton-Down-The-Rabbit-Hole/release/5776616 I am really curious! anyone knows more about this ? 12 years after the last one... but now it's a solo project. Anyway 12 years later we can sure expect something different, a different kickline?
