  1. I actually prefer disc 2 of Distance to goa 5 Distance to goa 4 got kickass tracks but also some fillers... Psychedelic goa core 1 is also worth mentioning http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php/topic/35511-va-psychedelic-goa-core-1/?p=478131
  2. one of the best darkpsy track i have heard is from Derango indeed, Derango - The Poisonous Square http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZGpK0zK43E
  3. I feel the same way. I just can't like anything above 160 BPM, it sounds cheesy to my hears and sometimes not listenable. But i DO like some darkpsy, i guess i'm probably lazy to look around. I remember liking Derango back then. Para Halu - The world of peace (2005) is great IMO. And recently ive been listening to a couple of tracks of the album ACID WALTZ, and it really deserves a review here cause it is AMAZING music! SO yeah, enjoy some sometimes, but to answer your question i'm not following it at all.
  4. if i may add this here http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php/topic/64809-post-a-short-review/?p=1018414
  5. hey guys i post this in this topic i have not found a review of the album ACID WALTZ from PARA HALU. I randomly listened to this track today I find it so interesting! that's so much better than many darkpsy around, isn't it ? anyone got the full album ? made me interested!
  6. Hi, I'm posting this here to help a guy from another trance forum. He'd like to find out which artist made that remix ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kF9BWtPnmmk sounds good, but checking discogs/google, can't find anything? any idea ? thanx
  7. sorry Mantra can't help, don't know this track :-/
  8. i understand apparenly the longest piece of music is still playing now, up to year 2640 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/As_Slow_as_Possible
  9. It's not psytrance my friend
  10. I pretty much agree with your review Mdk. I've been listening to this album a couple of times and always enjoyed it, sometimes with a cold beer ! As often with prog trance, no track really stands out but the whole thing is well executed, i can only recommend! By the way, track 4, where is the "cheesiest tracknames" thread ? ; )
  11. indeed it's a good track, quite entrancing, but i feel something is missing, so it's a 6.5 / 10 for me. next: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyMleVVGjds
  12. Yes nice cover Richpa haven't listened to the music but makes me interested !
  13. just realized this track has not been mentioned here: Ceiba - 23 degrees under the sun it's 23 minutes long (it's not psy ambient but 100% psytrance, i find it a bit boring to be honest, but it's an Ok track i guess) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stG98_WR0G0

I thought it was a pretty good complilation! Especially tracks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9. I really dislike fast darkpsy (180 bpm like), but this kind of stuff is just fine, to play loud of course!
  15. wow that must be one of the most amazing cover i have seen!
  16. lol this thread mine was ages ago, i have no idea which one is the first, but this one is old for sure http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php/topic/10108-have-you-an-idea/?p=77475 my english was terrible
  17. Not many reviews for a pretty solid album, really sounds good considering it was made over 10 years ago. I kinda agree with the guy above saying the whole album sounds a bit too homogeneous, but except that yeah nice sound, Hux-flux inspired any Hux-flux fan would like this i guess !
  18. hehe, indeed some synths sound like crying another example, Chi-AD - Book of eden @ 1:48
  19. for you radi, angelic particles, the voice is crying ? i always liked that track a lot
  20. sounds cliché, i mean sounds quite cheesy, old, lol. But it really depends in which track.
