I reckon the hype about Trip tonite is because of the unique melody of the track, very deep, entrancing, emotional, i remember falling in love at first listen 15 years ago. I agree that today when i listen to it I feel nothing, it sounds old and empty, but you have to admit that 15 years ago that was a great performance to release such a track, that was innovative. The track has a unique personnality too, IMO. I am happy you picked Jungle trax, quite underrated this one.

Personally i have been bored a bit with " Vimana " and " trip tonite ", probably too many listens! I agree with the choices " Mystical appearence in Goa ", and " Nice Toy ". " Tribute " is great too. But my current fav Etnica track is probably " Floating universe " from their last album Live in Athens 1996.

Yes actually i had grown on me, first i didn't like it at all, a few years later I started to like this album. Very varied compared to the oldest discs.

It's funny i remember well back in the time, Amen was so criticized for being "different from their usual sound, not uplifting, not inspired... that AP had lost their touch, etc etc Now people seem to praise this album. Funny to see how people 's opinion change

What is this Nitzhogoa track ? Released ? By the way, I really like Psychedelic dilemma, the album, and especially the track with the same name.

i know radi, i was just clowning around as always by the way, i genuinely think this music is beautiful, i always liked melodies from the eastern europ, sounds deep, with emotions, soul.

"Do you believe" is my favourite X-dream track unfortunately i don't know any other similar track from them, there are of course but not as good, maybe "Rain" it's a cool track... Indoor : I like the album, really. Naxus is my favourite track, the bad thing is the mastering, sounds so old, otherwise this album is epic. Vertigo : 7.5/10 next:

old sounding indeed but that's a nice effort, like Depths said your tracks do have potential, just lack a bit of energy IMO, there is something with the kickdrum/bassline that i don't like, it sounds sluggish but maybe it's deliberate ? it does sound Hypnotic, to my taste the sounds you using + the melodies are too overwhelming over the rest. Is it deliberate or you'd like something different, more balanced ? my brother told me about a similar experience, there was a strike in Paris from the trains (how great is that!) he decided to not take a taxi and walk 4 hours (just because he had time), he told me when he reached his place, he could have talked to anyone in the street, just because he didn't care (usually he does ) should we just call that "disinhibition" (same effect as alcohol, people care less when they had a couple of beers)

i experienced a few times that state, when i was working one time i worked from 6 am to 3 pm, then went home, tried to sleep but couldn't, then worked from 1 am to 1.30 pm physical job, i was so tired/sleepy and so dirty after my work, when i came back to the hostel (many people in hostels in Australia), i didn't care about anything people were saying, for me that meant i was ...yeah tired

favourites : Iron sun, Deep space 5d, Harmonic convergence, The Y principle. I didn't say Tribes of the moon is not beautiful, i gave it 7.5/10 that's a good rating.

Fantastic album, one of the most underrated IMO!

Well i don't know if it's ignored in the ambient scene, but if it's ignored in the psytrance scene, that's because it's not psytrance. This is more pure ambient a la Mathias Grassow. Anyway, massive album indeed.
