Boris Blenn is the god of goa trance, he is the god of psytrance too, the god of full on. Actually i would even say, he is simply the god of music in general, i can't even think of any band in any musical genre, any artist, in any genre any year any time, that came/come/will come close to the quality of music Boris Blenn produced / will produce. Actually i think all the musicians in the world should stop making music, shut up, and listen to Boris Blenn thousands masterpieces.

Intelligent machine : from a terrific album, this track has it all, melodic, dark, very agressive, actually i just realized it sounds a bit like old Tim Schuldt !! (the melody @ 5:15 ), this track is one of my fav from this great album - rating 8/10. (you can rate the video as well )

listened to this old gem today !! just look at the tracklist that must be one of the most essential goatrance release

The old remix by Ferry Corsten of William orbit Adagio for strings is really good... By the way, this AvB remix is for me one of the best tracks of all time. CLASSIC :

That must be the track i listened to the most last year when i was in Australia. haha yeah i remember this track, over the top as you said, terribly cheesy vocals but i used to love it.

IMO this remix of Trip tonite is pointless, take the original, add the full on touch, remove the goa spirit and you get the 2012 remix.

To be honest i haven't listened to Vol.1 yet so i cannot compare. This album as usual with Ka-sol hardly got introductions and break-downs in the tracks, which makes it really entrancing and great to dance to, but also very difficult to listen to the full disc from track 1 to track 11 without being a bit tired !! Heavy basslines, technoish atmospheres... dark intense and very trippy. I would pick tracks 2, 3 and 5 as my favourites but recommend this album only for people who dig Schlabbaduerst sound. I must say this is too hard and noisy for me, i definitely prefer what Ka-sol released on Fairytale in year 2006 and even their oldest tracks like Iris, Stuck...

Tiesto track : not really my style, i miss his old style, this track is too technoish for me, but probably great on the dance floor so i give it a 6/10.

I really like this sample in that track The high that proved too high, the heroic for earth too hard, The passion that left the ground to lose itself in the sky, Are music sent up to God Enough that he heard it once: we shall hear it by and by.

Flight 604 : for sure good production and good atmosphere, nice bassline but the track is not crazy enough to really do anything to me : 5.5/10.

Listening to it now very oldschool oriented with eastern melodies, i like it !

hehe nice ! yes indeed i love this track but i respect your opinion Drosophila, i was not sure this track would be liked on this forum since not everyone likes this kind of trance especially on a psytrance forum.

GLOBULAR nice to meet you. I am probably not the best person to rate this track as i am not a fan at all of this kind of music, it's a kind of dub mixed with psytrance, right ? It reminds me an album I have listened to ages ago, I think it was one of the Son Kite guys, but i forgot the name of the project. Anyway it's probably great music, creative and very well produced, but as it's not my cup of tea and doesnt catch me (different people different tastes ) i give 5/10
