Hello Verb, I am pretty enthusiastic about your 2 tracks! I would say Flying cowboys sounds more professional, with a nice breakdown at around 4 mn. That said, the bassline sounds a bit too simple and too old to my taste, but it's a nice track. About Kenosis : i am amazed by your melodies! And i don't even find the track too long, better, i find it kinda entrancing, but at the same time it sounds amateur, certainly because of the high BPMS, the kickdrum and the bassline. The bassline is way too simple in my opinion, work on it. I would have made the track a bit slower, but that's your choice and after all it makes the track really original. But again, i am really enthusiastic about the whole track, your ideas are good!

Yes, talent is overrated in the psytrance scene, in my opinion the most impressive about these artists is their technical skills but certainly not their musical skills.

too bad; Wicked is different from Insectified, more energetic and harder tracks, but i am pretty sure you would like it too if you like SUN project...

I have no clue what is awful in this cover. Perhaps a vampire or a dark forest is cooler for you, i don't know... The album is nice, it's easy listening to and i recommend it.

I like Midi Miliz a lot, but i agree with some of you here, it's not far from pure techno music, but with some psytrance elements. But eventually, who cares?

I think this album is harder than their previous albums, similar to Sexperimental, but with more rolling and groovy basslines. The whole album is strongly accompanied with heavy guitars and strong snares and rhythmic. Tracks 3 - "these guys", 4 - "going back to time" and 5 - "what comes next" are damn good! They are pretty hard and full of energy, track 4 might be the hardest with its killer technoish bassline, track 5 contains the best basslines of the album, just lovely! You'll be able to hear an old school touch in this album, with some semi-melodies and small trancey sounds, especially in tracks 2, 3, 5, and 6. The album finishes soft with two cool tracks, the last one ("the mission") is dubby, but track 9 - "the funk" is an excellent progressive chilling track! The bad point is that you can get tired listening to tracks 1 to tracks 7 cause they sound similar, but the album finishes in a different way. Good album according to me.

Harsh... sorry if it was. If it was harsh it was done on purpose, I mean how can one say that Mahadeva 99 is among the best goa tracks ever? It's simply wrong! Ormion you use to say "this track is one of the best ever" for lots of tracks... I find it a bit exaggerated, then what is Mahadeva original? an unreal track from another planet? well to say the truth, i think the 99 mix is mediocre at best, and i clearly hear the lack of inspiration in it. But when i judge a track by Astral projection, i always compare it with their other tracks, and it is clear that it is not among their best tracks, they can do better, and i never understood this remix...but well different people different tastes... But i say it again, big thumbs up for Nilaya and Trance dance, among others.

Vavoom is THE TRACK ! I think the album is not too bad on the whole, but well less goa trance than his other stuff...

I can just recommend Dreampod to any psy/goa trance lovers, that is a great classic i discovered some years ago in Distance to goa 5 compilation... This track is rich, we can hear a lot of work in it, and as it is said above, it is a really amazing, and very psychedelic track! I would say it is the best track from Koxbox/Psychopod.

Nilaya (9:25) Another World (6:54) Visions Of Nasca (6:57) Searching For UFO's (10:26) Tryptomine Dream (9:51) Trance Dance (9:33) Mahadeva '99 (8:21) Aqua Line Spirit (8:35) Still On Mars (7:31) Nilaya track is a must have, inventive melodies, psychedelic, so powerful and such a charism... Trance Dance is among the most enjoyable tracks here, morning track, nice melodies... but the real disappointment is truly the remix of Mahadeva, such a poor track, a pity, what was the point of making such a bad remix of the legendary track? ... Other quite boring tracks for me : Another world, and Still on Mars. Nevertheless, I dig Tryptomine dream, Searching for UFO's, and Aqua line spirit, nice "smiling" and "optimistic" track. Vision of Nasca is among the darkest, and it's not bad at all. 7.5/10

I like the original of Burning up more, good track, makes me smile. Axis v0.99 is even better!
