  1. Voxengo R8Brain is accepted to be one of the best sample-rate converter programs out there. Not every SRC is created equal, and some introduce distortion to the audio when converting. The Sound Forge 'Resample' process should be fine though.
  2. Didn't they have a couple of 'releases' as Wet Patch?
  3. gonna WHAT? argh the suspense...
  4. The shortest 'track' as such is 7min 37s; every other track is over 8min. No half-measures there! Yes, the preview is about 90 seconds of each track in the album, in the same order they will be on the CD. Track Listing 1. Free Range 2. Smoke A Lot (Ricochet mix) 3. The Humming 4. Solar Sway 5. Oh My (Good Golly Me) 6. Marijuajuana 7. Rock My Soul (Joker vs. Operator mix) 8. Blue Seal 9. Eye Of The Beholder
  5. Remember that the 'SX' in Cubase SX was originally meant to imply version six, as it came out after VST 5.1... this makes Cubase 4 actually Cubase version 10! To answer your question: I really like the RV7000 and Scream 4 in Reason, and right now I'm very happy with Cubase SX3/Cubase v9
  6. Tom Lurk is putting together a compilation called "Get Your Wonk On"... bit of slang there; it's a Ketamine thing, apparently.
  7. I loved the idea of 'Invasion From Hyperspace'
  8. There's a lot of good stuff in there for sure but also some glaring omissions - sidechaining (although this will be in an update to v4 at some point) and group re-ordering/routing restrictions, both basic needs of mine but ya... TBH though if you're considering moving from Reason there's nothing crucial in C4 that SX3 is missing IMO.
  9. Nah, it's crap. very nice... making your own 'canvas' is a great idea too.
  10. Hey Cinos... just so you know: The joke is on people believing she exists... Psynina is the pseudonym of Thomas who runs Psytropic record label. In itself a pseudonym is nothing special - many people do it - but Thomas has expended much energy in trying to convince people that Nina exists, even to the extent of publishing photos of someone purporting to be her (although no photos of her DJing or working in the studio exist) and strenuously denying his involvement in the face of overwhelming evidence. He has asked people to pretend to be her at parties she has been booked at (btw she has not once turned up to any parties she has been booked at - or even as a punter)... sure, the music exists and has been released - but Nina herself does not. As far as we know she's just one sad man's attempt to get his music more attention than it perhaps deserves.
  11. It's going to be a long wait but he is working on it - and it's not going to be another Blumenkraft either from the little I heard
  12. It's been a long time coming... it'll be worth it I hope!
  13. Glad you guys like what you hear so far IMPORTANT Don't quote me on the '6 weeks'. No date has been set; could be longer... you know how these things go lol.
  14. Well... Chris Organic is now back from holiday and is listening to the album for the first time right now so providing he likes it and the artwork (which we also did ourselves apart from the cover art which is by Vladimir Kush) the album could be released in six weeks, which is how long Arabesque need once they have all the parts.
  15. The album is now complete. Track Listing 1. Welcome 2. Free Range 3. Smoke A Lot (Ricochet mix) 4. The Humming 5. Solar Sway 6. ...But Handy! 7. Oh My (Good Golly Me) 8. Marijuajuana 9. Rock My Soul (Joker vs. Operator mix) 10. Blue Seal 11. It Isn't Just You... 12. Eye Of The Beholder 13. We Love You Album teaser to follow soon...
  16. If there's one think I miss in most trance today it's the inventiveness; the sense of 'no rules' and the feeling that there's an infinite musical landscape out there to be discovered. Many producers these days seem to confine themselves in a few small towns on the border between the Undiscovered Country and Whatsgonebefore... I think the mountains scare them.
  17. Unless a booking comes up, I'll be there... it's just before my birthday, too
  18. Dude if my studio looked like that I'd have a very similar expression on my face. It's just not the same playing back a track in the dark when the only light is two computer monitors, rather than a thousand LEDs all blinking in sync with various internal aspects of the track you're listening to.
  19. Eat who? Ps. There's something different about the brain...
  20. Pure speculation here but I reckon Ott is more likely to release his album in 2007. Lots going on in that man's life at the moment.
  21. I think old metacortex deserves thanks too, don't you? http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/...c/44624/forum/2
