VA - Space Forming (2010) [Psychill, Psydub, IDM]
Arronax replied to Gliese's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Wow this compilation is amazing! I must be honest, I haven't heard anything better (in this genre) in the past few years. Since I'm totally into space ambient music, I must say that I'm very positively suprised with the innovation level and the composition of all tracks. I can't say which are my favorites since the whole compilations fits together perfectly, and the only thing I can say is BRAVO !!! -
No problem man! If you need any help about it just mail me to arronaxtrance@gmail.com Cheers! I can't wait to hear the complete version. This "broken" one you sent me still sounds excellent even if it lacks the main melody.
-
I can help you with that. You can send me the preset (or give me the link to that preset) and then give me the notes of the melody, and I can render it for you, and send you the .wav file.

P.S. All of you shouldn't be surprised because Israeli trance scene has already fallen in the darkest pit. I don't want to go political, but if the "trancers" in Israel say nothing against their government when their "defense army" is killing innocent people in Gaza, moreover many of them even support the evil actions done to innocent human beings, how can you expect them to be spiritually developed to produce quality music such as psychedelic / goa trance? Music is music, politics are politics, but human soul is one, and only one inside of everyone. If you sell your soul for money, nothing is sacred anymore. Not even a human life. At that moment, music becomes just irrelevant.

Actually I heard that one somewhere, but I can't remember the artist who did the remix.

I have the same problems with Albino VST, that's why I almost never or extremely rarely use it. It has some glitches and bugs that ruined one of my projects just like that. In my case, it didn't even want to play the melody at all, my soundcard just froze every time I wanted to play that project. Then I started a new project and copied all my melodies and I used totally different VST's. Luckily, I was able to find a similar lead synth sound and I somehow managed to finish the track. I'd like to find out what's going on with Albino, why are there so many bugs in it. It's a wonderful VST but it's also very buggy
-
The track is verrrrrrrrry goood! I enjoyed it from the start to the end! I can hear a lot of Shakta's influence here, at least it reminds me of some older Shakta's tracks And it's a really nice approach to goa, I like this sound myself. The kick is a little bit too loud but it doesn't mean anything because the composition is very good! Btw, how come you can't render the track? Is that synth a VST? If it is, just re-install the VST and it will work I guess. And if it's not, play that lead melody on some VST instead, and replace the broken one like that. It's a shame that the track like this stays unreleased.

Then, there is Age of Wonders, AoW: Shadow Magic, and AoW 2: The Wizard's Throne, one of the game series which has the best fantasy ambient music I've ever heard. The only games which have equally good music are Heroes of Might and Magic III and IV, composed by Paul Romero. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSwsEcp3Or4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k9fPBM-rPo -

Video games have always provided us with excellent music. Personally, I just LOVE to hear world or forest ambient music in games, since I'm a big fan of fantasy RPG video games I've also made one track, called Zemlja Planina, which was primarily intended for a RPG video game that was developed on my college, but the game unfortunately never saw daylight except for some concept art and story line. However, I managed to make a soundtrack for it and later dedicate it to mountains and forests http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx6aQ4taV6A Anyways, you should also check Rome Total War and Medieval Total War for some excellent music composed by Jeff Van Dyck. Excellent stuff. I also remember a great soundtracks from C&C Red Alert 2, very intelligent and full of energy. -
Why did you put "tokyo NEW school" in the title of this thread

Is the .rar OK? Imba was saying something about damaged archive, I didn't download it yet and I don't know if they managed to upload a new one.
-
Good news, it's finally out... I was wondering when it's gonna be released I'm downloading it right now

Shulman - Mia Nihta Mono Den Ftani http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iL6PpBvLSM Indira Radić - Lopov http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYbVQjnw1bQ any similarities? What I'm trying to say, this album is actually a cover of many cheesy and commercialized music melodies across the globe. Nothing innovative or breath-taking in that.

Yes, I am a part of Space Elves too. Nice to be a part of such a good team
-
Thank you for your views very much I appreciate it Of course, the track is far from finished, and I'm sure it will sound a lot better when it's complete
-
Here is the new demo track (for one of the future VA's, I'm not gonna say which one yet ) http://www.reverbnation.com/artist/song_details/4067781?play_now=true Full version will probably sound a lot better, but this is just a "sneak peek" for those who like to sneak

Which VST do you use for GATE?
Arronax replied to Arronax's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
Hey mate, I'm already using a few of them which are recommended by fellow goa freaks, but this one is fantastic too. It's very effective, thank you! -
