no idea, just browsed a facebook page and there it was, Pity Bono is there, that's all (although I like his older music a bit) I have been listening to some metal because of this topic, thanx btw. Since I'm a fan of those groups and posted my favorites and you picked other albums as your favorites I couldn't resist checking them. Offspring is still in my playlist. The Amorphis album is great. I like it a lot, and it's a keeper, I would love to have this one original but it's old, so the search is on. The tracks My Kantele and Relief are perfect. Nothing tops the track "black winter day" to my ears but those come very close. Very melodic and atmospheric, symphonic metal just the way I like it, thanx for the recommendation! The My dying bride album is good but nothing too special. It is less varied compared to my favorite "like gods of the sun", (imo) but a perfect example off how "doom metal" should sound containing all the elements proud and presented. I have listened to the entire album and it's good but it's way too fast for me. Many black metal these days tend to increase their drum speed too fast direction death metal. And I don't like that speed, i'm not a fan of death metal. I used to listen to "cannibal corpse, Deicide when I was younger", but those days are over. I prefer it a bit slower, not that fast. But still I enjoyed the album. Then again the genre black metal and death metal gets switched so much it's almost impossible to know which is which, I have my own perspective, but If I check the internet it's not what others think. (Deicide for example is called black metal on wikipedia and to be honest that can't be more death metal then any other group imo) I also checked "type of negative" - "october rust" some weeks ago, I already knew this album from youth and it's still a masterpiece, Great voice, good atmosphere, love the concept but sometimes some different riffs or a guitar solo would be great, but still I've been listening to "Tool" a lot lately, I've heard this name many times before, but always thought it was some pop metal (crying oasis) stuff, but I was wrong, Tool is pretty damn good! Keep the metal coming! I'm going for Pantera - cowboys from hell today And this one should be posted! http-~~-//youtu.be/zUwEIt9ez7M

I've listened to the etnica release once and I couldn't make it to the end, The tracks are great and well known, that is not the problem, but the melodies are to sharp to my ears. I know from my specialist I have sensitive ears (don't know how much compared to others off course), but it annoys me, and is one of the reasons I can't listen to Filteria either (an artist which music is obviously based on the 'crop circles, etnica etc...) I should give it another try while equalizing it, but that's a bit against my principals -
First my imo (my personal experience and thoughts, don't shoot me ) I have listened to this album many times now and tend to disagree with the progressive "touch" that has been referred to. It is not because an artist lowers down the BPM off it's baseline that it suddenly becomes progressive as we know progressive within the concept of psychedelic trance and beyond. This is just a slower trance baseline, downtempo. Actual progressive doesn't even lower down the BPM but uses different kicks and patterns what creates a progressive experience. There are no elements enough around to consider some tracks as progressive but I do understand the link because sometimes it comes very close. Second The album itself is amazing. It seems a new trend between quotes to use more slower baselines and this Ultimae ambient style like Solar fields has done before and even the latest Aes dana - pollen contains. I can only applause such a thing cause damn, I like it! Akshan is filled with great melodies, not too long stretched and varied enough to keep me busy the entire release. The chose of sounds is nothing new but each track Akshan goes a bit further in it's concept. The melodies and atmosphere become stronger track by track and so do his baselines which are also varied in their patterns. Is this still ambient? I don't know. I experience it as relaxing but it's pure downtempo to my ears. It's not to warm or fluffy but then again not cold and chilly. A very good release, and totally different. Good work from Altar Records and it's Artist. Thanx & more of this please

Post interesting rare/unique facts that you think people (or almost) never heard about, and probably got highlighted because of the internet activity of today, otherwise not... not to much alien stuff and ufo's, latest daily news etc... Some Phenomenal natural landscapes for example. And feel free to debate, See how it goes! Just crossed on this fact some time ago, Imo stunning! Here's an aerial photograph of Lake Hillier in Western Australia, glowing in Pepto Bismol pink. The water in the region gets its distinctive pink color from a combination of a green algae, halobacteria and brine prawn.

, well it is famous to so called "alternative people" but I suggested that movie many times in my life already to people not knowing it. Could be coincidence

Interesting, I never heard of that, kinda cool! I can't be Radi, If it was Radi, that means he entered Belgian territory and that would be all over the media + who would feed the real "boris blenn" in his basement while he is gone? I understand the link, it really does sound, like Radi would sound like, that's true. But there has to be another explanation!

Compared to other fullon releases this isn't that bad at all, but that does not make this album more good, I checked, Overdream (2008), Prahlad (20074) , Aquatica (2008) , Astrix (2011) and Digicult is much better...

I don't know if you can visit the facebook link, but I'm really enjoying that Illuminated Art art stuff, I think it's even worth the trip to Berlin to experience it... Not that I have the money or time right now, but you know what I mean...

You may recall the unusual architectural constructs created by photo manipulation expert Michael Jantzen and think you know better than to believe that such wacky, funhouse-like structures actually exist in this world, but think again. Krzywy Domek, translated as Crooked House, is a shopping center in Sopot, Poland that curves and slants for real! There's no photo editing tools used to depict this unconventionally structured edifice. http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/szotynscy-zaleski-krzywy-domek-crooked-house
