Cytopia.org ~ Digital Distribution Solution Information for labels • Cytopia.org is an ideal platform for digital distribution for many reasons and we are currently working with many labels, but would really like to welcome more labels to join us, psytrance, goatrance, progressive, electro, and ambient labels are more then welcome to join us. This is an overview of what our distribution solution offers labels- • Payments up to 80% earnings for labels, exact amount depends on promotional package selected by label, monthly payments. • Cytopia.org is non – exclusive, a label can use our service in combination with other download solutions. • Sales are in CD quality WAVE or mp3 320kbs format, full streamed previews (80kbs) + internet radio station with mix of previews. • Labels can monitor sales live via label login page which displays sales statistics per artist / album / track, per year / month and day. This page also displays total income from sales. • Our release procedure is simple, requires just upload to the server by FTP, with a release info text and relevant graphics file • Our distribution agreement is not complicated and can be easily terminated by label. • Each label has a label page on Cytopia.org with information and a list of all the albums released on the website, linking directly to those albums. The label and albums pages can be linked to from forums and label sites. • Streamed previews can be linked to from external web-pages; this means label can link to a stream of each track via an icon on a webpage, without hosting the track themselves (80kbs). • Cytopia.org has +/- 6000 visits per month, and a well established customer base which is steadily expanding. • Cytopia.org is a great platform for pre-releases of an album or VA, pre-releasing one track from an album can raise awareness and anticipation for the up coming release. • Lastly, it is our aim to work with labels directly. Some labels refer us to their digital aggregator, who have the digital rights to their music.
