  1. if I see such a tattoo I will stop ya. Im found all over but lots of times I still just gravitate front and center or close to there. This will be the case for acts I want to see. hahaha! I do not have dreads either ;O maybe I'll just wear the pink shirt the whole week ;p how will we find Paul Eye?? anyone going to SUN or Ozora the previous weeks?
  2. That was on Neuromotor's first album in 2001, not the Plastyk Elephant & Hyper Frequencies album. I forgot about that song and will search it up. I feel there was a similar name or maybe a rmx years later that was on some compilation. EDIT: listening to the track now - so good ;D mental audio shadows disguising my thoughts ;O always loved Neuromotor. I was introduced to his 2003 'Electrik City' album and style first, very different attitude than these older tracks.
  3. (pretending its not 2014) A little while back I discovered this artist I think due to a song on DI radio. this album is a stomper! You would of thought this was Absolum. Maybe even another french guy. NOPE! 2 Mexican psycho's that must of been birthed from 3D Vision but adoption by Materia ;p Speedball - Human Disorder http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/mte/mte1cd011.html and I today discovered this release on the same label. older than 4 years but you should still know about it! 8) I will be buying this on my next purchase. Cortex - Time for Salvation http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/mte/mte1cd006.html
  4. well I finally got my hands on this release and for dark PSY - this one nailed it early in 2001. DAMMMN! old Neuromotor was angry ;p THIS is how I like my darkpsy! its perfect and should smack around todays artists! a few storming tracks like this on the album while the others were more in-line with the typical Hyper Frequencies/Mechanik Sound/Neuromotor hard psy. I've uploaded this release for all to hear ^_- this too ;O
  5. here in the states, no. The video game Uncharted 3 would have highlight reels for plays of the week and once the video montage had some cheesey full-on "kids bop" psy playing. Once in Camden, England, I bumped into a psy dj playing music and selling Phantasm releases at one of the markets. that was a cool experience. Across the street from him where I was, I heard bass. Psytrance bass! I then scrolled my head to the left and saw him there and immediately I b-lined right over and smiled, listening, then moved in to chat.
  6. I'd say headphones at a decent volume. some tracks you will hear all the good intricacies better. then try what you like LOUD through a speaker set-up ;D
  7. we can try! a when and where time could help ;p I could wear my pink shirt that says "Hello my name is K-BAN" 8))
  8. Medicine Drum! unless they play all their ambient and world vibes which I still freaking love ;O REALLY excited for that!
  9. I went to a lot of parties last year and am completely drawing a blank.. Hearing Spacey Koala was the newest style I heard. I dont like it though. Dj Om Olak at one party played an old song which I NEVER thought I would hear at a party. this being Wizack Twizack - Ranger From the North. A track from the 2005 release VA-CTRL ALT DELETE. THE reason I bought that compilation years ago ;D edit: Oh, I know! Psyncus Project which did a live performance and had goa style that reminded me of old. I caught a few bits here. at times the music was more experimental.
  10. ah ha! yes! I call that period the "weird" one. industrial vibes carried over too. M.O.S. had the darker nature too. I've not heard much by them but it was too out there for me usually ;p Im completely forgetting other names now but am very aware of the goa to psy transition and that... sound back then.
  11. exactly where I was going with it.. its me Dali, bitches! need some more vocal psytrance in your collection? ;p
  12. Im a bad boy and havent done any digging into recent music. whenever I do, I find out its just not that good or have enough cheese and I stop digging. Then I get lost in all the classic psy that is still fantastic and needs to be in my collection ;p EDIT: WAIT! Mind Doctors Make Acid are frikkin sweet! Reminds me of the stomping 3D Vision days with so much quality. last I knew most of the music isnt released yet. check 'em out! now this I am super jealous about ;O as for the discussion above.. Im a little confused. Psy trance does have progressive psy as a subgenre. it is typically not my cup of tea but it does exist. case closed. ;p
  13. what if I told you I was one of these "famous" ones..... ;p
  14. I'd go Logic Bomb over Hux Flux anyday 8) I can understand what you mean at least.
  15. oooh that was rather boring. I kept skipping through the album to find something exciting and mostly found just a bassline. I hate it when psy just has that inbetween the build-ups. newer crap full-on. one reason Im such an advocate for classic full-on. it was bouncing all over ;D
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNHY55FizlQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GddVmsPI9A0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFEwqsh-3nU
  17. this is where I can come in and offer suggestions not yet listed. I hope you change your mind when listening to classic albums from 10 yrs ago. the names you listed for that genre I think are crap ;p sorry. full-on is easily the sub-genre with the most cheese but when you strike gold, f*ck yeah its good! albums Absolum - Inside the Sphere Audialize - Wanted CPU - Central Processing Unit D-Tek - Earth Technologies Dynamic - Dynamix Lucy in Space with Diamonds - Emerald City Nomad - Mad Attack Psydrop - Fantasy Seeds Shift - Red Line Suria - Logical Evolution Xerox & Illumination - Temporary Insanity theres literally around 100 more I can list but will leave you with that and some songs ;D (CPU - Shot Shot, Voila also stomps!)
  18. think you guys nailed this topic ;p lots here I recognize and others to research. thanks! ;D
  19. CPU broke my heart with his 3rd album Discodelic ;p some of you said earlier Transwave?? Did they have a recent release Im unaware of??
  20. lucky you! Seems like a nice mid-way point to all the euro festivals. wanna trade places? ;p
  21. sweet! Filteria at SUN and now Boom ;D Hopefully we can stomp the dancefloor together ^_-
  22. I dont hear those Total Eclipse tracks above too often but man how excellent they are! I never heard those 2 Paul Eye shares but whewy! awesome psy and goa ;D this was going to be my suggestion cuz I bring it up whenever I can haha! thanks for using my upload. Someone else FINALLY also uploaded the track to youtube since then. now working off of Ormion's suggestion... Shift - Centrifuge. Man, this whole album is a gem! OLD IS GOLD ;p (in the psy-sense) haha
  23. I've not played the samples yet and purchased the cd. said 5 were available and now its down to 2. hmm. just having the music will be awesome. I gotta check this section of the forums more often. 8)
  24. oh well then. Didnt last year also have Darshan? or was that just Lost Theory? Looking at that line-up.. freaking Hux Flux is at like every party this year isnt he?? I got to see him last year at Fractal Fest in the nearby state of VT (first state east of New York). He came to my car with a friend and I to where I had him sign my 2013 festie shirt 8) and my friend had...something for him ;p Hes a tall dude! I've got a video on Youtube under MATTKBAN during his set. perfect morning slot when the sun was finally starting to warm us all up in the mountain. Pspiralife was there too and had a small chat with him when talking to others around the fire. Radioactive Cake was at I think Psyfari last summer but I was maybe sleeping for his mix or only caught a piece of it. Sonic Species had a fun full-on mix at Genesis even if throwing a bit of a fit at the equipment. organizers calmed him down as he almost walked off. (I think he overreacted as we all were still enjoying the music) anywho - is Freqs a far travel for any of you attending?
