  1. hahaha! too much.. everything! ;p
  2. yes Yes YES! CYDONIA! I didnt know that Viper was an alias. I totally hear it now. that track was on my mind recently and now I remember it was the one I forgot to dig the cd out for something I did ;p Cydonia's style of goa is my favorite tied with what the Green Nuns did. The raw sound behind Cydonia and how the tracks growl at you. the layers inter-playing with one another. Mind Hunter above is a good example. Columbian Necktie is the perfect example of what I love to hear. Animal People as well is pretty good. for me, my favorite song is 'Haunted World' - sucks my brain into it ;O http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9vJnhDV8vY
  3. I envy you ^_- I wasn't going to parties then so I only heard the tracks on DI and my own persnal playing. maaaaan! I'll lose all my bodily shit if I heard a dj play anything off that album ;O I see your signature has the tracks recently played hehe and a funny gif -hahaah!
  4. before I go too nuts, I will suggest one album not mentioned yet. one of my favorites. each track is ;O Lucy in Space with Diamonds - Emerald City I recommend Agitato releases like Cyber Cartel - Magic Vision Space Buddha - Storm Reaction Psydrop - Fantasy Seeds Indica - Visions of Tomorrow Space Monkey - Psychotic Episode many of their compilations harder stuff I still see at full-on from 3D Vision label is Nomad - Mad Attack CPU - Central Processing Unit and Computer Error Absolum - Inside the Sphere - stomps hard but give it a shot ;D dont forget other Israli's like Dynamic - Dynamix Melicia - Running Out of Time Safi Connection - Authentic Vik on Injection - Welcome to Space Injection - Shock Wave random other ideas.. Spectrum - XXX Altom - Groove Control Electric Universe - Cosmic Experience Xerox & Illumination - Temporary Insanity Tellus 2 - Addiction Suria - Logical Evolution way too much out there ;p YouTube is your friend. dont forget to check Spun records. I swear they used to release a new cd each week haha!
  5. Im not familiar with anything Shiva Chandra so..any guesses? I've never heard this until today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUF78E9_V_c
  6. I was able to snag some older psy releases ;D
  7. Im a tattoo free body. if I ever got tattoo'd - there would be SaikoSounds written somewhere on me ;D
  8. 20 minutes to go until it all starts! the DI stream is having some buffering errors like crazy now. Maybe it's sorting itself out before the 15hr show ;D
  9. hahaha! just noticed your reply ;p Lucky you!!! I got the complete opposite in 2010. I dont wanna talk about it ;p The same night was the same result with Juno Reactor too. Oh well - least I got to see those guys..
  10. first - hahah! Britney Spears & Etnica ;p second - I've been saying that for years too! "keep psytrance underground" - it can help avoid all that is bad with mainstream edm. third - ok, phew! I too was wondering who the 3 other guys were..
  11. I like old Filteria BUT its really samey. playing it loud is fun, though ;p real LOUD. too many lazers wizzing around haha! edit: forgot to mention, I DO really hope this release gets out there for us. No1 likes unreleased haha! it must be heard!
  12. if either of you or anyone else reading hears that sample in other tracks, feel free to post them. I know somewhere, I hear it mid song probably during a breakdown. remember, we are long lost psychedelic twins ;D and yup - "dont make 'em like they used to" haha! And thats how Absolum decided to open the album. a good HELLO BITCHES in my book "BOW YOUR HEAD!" luckily, I got to hear a DJ play this at Respect Gatherings: Genesis festival in August - I LOST MY SHIT! I thanked him after as he also played another song off Inside the Sphere.
  13. for years now I have heard this sound effect in songs. Just the other day I realized two of my favorite albums (somehow missed the obvious) open their first track with this one sound effect. I would like to know if it is sampled from a movie or tv show like quotes and stuff have been forever. the first 14 seconds of each track. first track.. Audialize - Interface - track 1 from his 2003 'Wanted' album track 2 Absolum - The Stomper - track 1 from his 2004 'Inside the Sphere' album ????
  14. crazy.. now this one I disagree with you more. much more ;p Maybe I should play it again (although the last time was earlier in the year) and I was still a fan of these tracks. that full-on sound during the time that meant bliss and euphoria. the real cheesey full-on from Melicia came with his next album and that timeframe for all of psytrance. a little in 2005, more so in 6 then in 2007 was when the cheese came into psy. for this album - some tracks are stronger than other. In the end, you have really good full-on. ;D
  15. I didnt expect to see this new thread when stopping on the site quick ;O you said it perfectly! I loved Ketuh records for this exact reason! I made it a mission to collect all of their releases (have two copies of VA-Radical Simplicity ;p). This album is also my favorite psy one ever. It holds a special place in my heart. This was back when an album could come out and each song sounded different from the next. I still like to refer to this music as full-on or hard psy since yeah, it never went fully dark. either way - this IS psytrance ;D edit: ALSO! the first track, 'Interface' has the same opening sound/sample that Absolum's 'Inside the Sphere' album has with its first track opening, 'The Stomper' - no joke. I think I'll make a thread about it since I've heard the sound elsewhere in tracks too then will link that here. sound examples here: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php/topic/67380-possible-dumb-thread-;p-but-what-is-this-sample/?p=1025780
  16. http://www.di.fm/calendar/event/32990 THIS WEDNESDAY! (3days) "You've heard about it, you've read about it, but have you ever seen a Frequency Pattern? Morlack, the original soul of the Digitally Imported Goa-Psy Trance Channel returns to us 10 years later with a Frequency Patterns Megamix. We honor Morlack today with an all day marathon of his Frequency Patterns shows, including his BRAND NEW MIX, starting at 2pm US Eastern, 7pm UK, 20:00 Central Europe! Tune-in at 9am US Eastern, 2pm UK, 15:00 Central Europe for the start of the all day marathon!" My how the time has flown by! Join in on the streams for a listen during this 12-hour special! http://www.di.fm/goapsy Maybe join in on the boards to chat or share thoughts with whoever will be there! (hint: I'll be one ;p) http://forums.di.fm/goa-and-psy/ DI Goa/Psy has an irc chat too which some users will probably be there more. I use the one off the site's old layout ;p http://old.di.fm/chat/ Morlack's original October 2003 FP Mix is the one I have heard first and the most (and my favorite mix EVER!). This event is very special to me and I hope there is a good crowd to show up for it. ;D That mix was THE mix for that channel and a good spot for many of us listener's to hang out together, with it on play. 8)))
  17. I kind of wondered the same thing, Radi, minus the "taking over" part. ;p So few releases on that label. Now-a-days, I kind of find that Ethereal album boring. (dont hate me all at once!) ;p I never got around to getting Ypsilon5's album.
  18. ^ nice! You surprise me with GadgetG ;D Everything I have heard from him is very different than the last. He was supposed to play at a festival this year I went to, but ended up not being there ;( maybe next year I'll be so lucky. His DI Summer Solstice mix was superb! when you say smooth music and the psy not so psy-like - I think of this. its kind of psy and kind of a proggy full-on hybrid. one of my favorite discoveries this year thanks to DI radio station. 8) Synergic - Delusion Red
  19. Yes - I forgot to also mention SUN festival in that post ;p I will wait until seeing the line-ups before furthering plans. Lost Theory has had a line-up that spoke to me the past few years. Missing out on oldschool Flyhing Rhino guys and Toi Doi hurts ;p I want to see the veterans while I still can. I forget the line-up SUN had this year but it was good. Not one that would beat L. Theory for me. We'll see what happens though. 8)
  20. anyone dedicated enough to get a Saiko tattoo? ;p
  21. ah cool! thanks for the tip! If I run into it one day I will buy/watch. Maybe Netflix has it since I seen some ooooold movies on there recently.
  22. DI.FM since 2003 ;D DI having many edm genres doesn't affect one another as each channel has its own director/s behind it. They keep the channel fresh with constant changes to the rotation and even made the psyprog and psychill channels to keep the genres from overlapping on one and easier to access just that as well. Then there are the frequent monthly shows or yearly Solstice weekend festival that everyone should attend ;D Just as importantly is my awesome friends there, a handful of which still attend the site.
  23. I have had a iPhone 3GS since 2009. I will soon be ditching the smartphone world because I dont need "wifi" wherever I go even if it is crappy AT&T which sometimes is 'decent' ;p the price per month of the bill isnt worth it either and I have a cheaper plan ;O anywho! the real reason I am posting here is - have any of you heard of Phonebloks? watch this short video. I want! http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=phonebloks
  24. I agree but also, if someone was going to run down this guy, he would still get clipped by the roof of the car - thus still f*cking him up good ;p and as mentioned this was just for show as the spectators were pointed out. still a cool move for sure ;D 'd hand over my car haha! funniest AND coolest gif of the thread ;D AWESOME! I've seen the video behind this gif. there are actually competitions to draw the perfect circle and this guy enters them. maybe I can find zeh video on youtube. I saw it years ago, possibly on a different site. pretty impressive. awww - this is heart-warming for me. I didnt laugh at them. 8) edit: I like how he is stuck between about-to-laugh then full-on laughing ;D edit: WOW! that video was easier to find than I thought. first try & first search ;p
  25. I agree. I think that is the problem here. these tracks were sped WAY up. they sound pretty good and wish I heard them at 'normal' speed. The first track makes me think of Dimension 5 and the Second Syb Unity Nettwerk. Probably not the case on either ;p
