If you could punch one celebrity in the face...
K-BAN replied to Trance2MoveU's topic in Cultural / Spiritual zone
Bam! I got you covered. woman - whatever! ;p I can't go anywhere without walking by tabloid magazines in the store and have my eyes see them, then want to vomit. although, if I punched them, it would just lead into a new tabloid on their latest blackeye news ;p snowball effect initiated. second option... I guess any of the ignorant news anchors that plague FOX over here. I'll punch Beyonce in the throat so we dont have to suffer with that voice anymore. about actually punching people - I wouldn't unless you are coming at me. then it's on ;p -
I've just recently seen your posts around and no wonder.. never would of guessed you were new. I didn't look at the join date under your name and suspected you were here for years ;p Hi Tom! I'm Matt! 8) welcome for sure!

Something I'd like to add.. Obituaries always feel the same. Same ole high praises and posiive things said for the person who has just passed. These type of feelings should always be shared while we are still alive. Don't keep them for the wake/funeral speeches or obituaries in the paper. We need to grow these feelings to strengthen the bonds we have with one another. Saving them up after someone has passed feels generic just like when you say "have a nice day" or whatever over the phone.

another older album aka - easy to of missed. especially during that time. Frequency Deluxe - self titled album ;p this video uses the cover what about Jaws Underground? He has 5 albums now so maybe I'm wrong there. Jaws Underground - Algorythme - his 2nd album is easily his best album! it offers so much! even some acid (below) 'Necrofilia' (dumb video shows his first albums cover) 'Code Rouge' - a tad reminds me of CPU (again, wrong cover)

check the right side of your hip, is there a scar? I have one on my left. maybe we were conjoined twins and separated at birth (GASP!) definately cool we like him the same! sure hope he has some nice psychedelics bubbling and brewing in the cauldron ^_-

I too was going to suggest Distance to Goa 4 ;p and yes, I prefer the 2nd cd. since I still want to suggest that release, why not the limited edition version of it(which is disc 1 only)?? ;p anyone have this copy? It's the narliest cd I ever seen with a holographic print, just as this picture shows. this of other mixed cds.. do the other Distance compilations do it too? cannot remmeber... I have 7-9 or something like that in a bundle. the Goa Gil Burning Man and Forest of the Saints cds please these ears edit: ah yes! i agree with Trancentral 4 as technosomy suggested. My cover is slightly different than the one shown. something I recently realized.

woa! love the goa! never heard of this album. I will NOT be buying the $160 copy on Discogs, haha! I remember when Nissimyani came out with their first album. I heard the songs in dj mixes on DI around that time (still do not own their albums). I like their music. when this second album came out it was less satisfying to me then. Maybe because of the horde of other psy pumping through my ears. Now - Im loving that second album ;D going back to the 2004 groove feels nice. Darkpsy - wow! good call! not expecting that but I totally agree. His 2nd album can be suggested here, too. The first album is totally how you described it. very deep and his own kind of dark. Darkpsy has that unique neuro psy flow. I prefer his second album as the songs differentiate from one another more. 'FM Amount' is my favorite from the artist. I was hoping he played that song when I saw him perform and so glad he did ;p think there is still snippet clips on my phone... your second suggestion - what?!?! INTERESTED! ordered a copy. also couldnt find tracks in Youtube. thanks! I'll let you know my thoughts whenever I get it. this next album - no tracks are on Youtube so I may have to upload them. ONE day ;p smooth, clear flowing psytrance. mmmm tastey Tellus 2 - Addiction

^ that Flipknot song is a perfect example where the effects can be something special but they don't exceed throughout the track. I like this bassline. Im stumbling through cds today and I find this track - may not help convert anyone but strong buzzing chainsaws to the ear ;O go to 2:12 Fungus Funk - High Feelings

we all like or dislike music right away. the dissecting comes after when you wonder 'why' so naturally, dark psy for some of us doesn't naturally stick

I tried hard to find a similar thread... kept finding opinions on certain artists mainly. anyways! What albums/compilations do you feel came out and didn't make much of a splash but should have? for me, the easiest answer is Anax - Not Over Yet. This topic is coming back to my mind now since I am playing certain compilations now to find specific tracks. I found one I do not even remotely remember having an awesome Anax track on. that track will be my second video in this post. here is my favorite from his one and only Psy album. (he does house music or something now-a-days) the whole album is rock-solid! 'Secret Story' - I sampled this in the ID 50 psy songs video. then just recently "re-found" this beauty ;p 'Warm-Up' now share some of your ideas! I'm probably going to buy some ;p (bad idea! bad idea!!!) I'll post a few more albums when less busy. I'm procrastinating by making this thread, haha!

cool! glad you both had fun ;D I worked each night this was going on and would rush home (close-by) on my lunch breaks to hear more of it loud on my speakers ;p my phone battery wasn't going to hold up either so I kind of had to.

I go right to the dancefloor! I prefer all music at night. During the day is fine but night dancing gives that 'alien atmosphere'

I remember liking dark psy less back when Terminator was around, I would like it more now like I do that song. Then, I remember disliking his one (last?) album. But Deja Vu!! Love their releases! Ketuh has some good compilations (some of my favorites) full of usually twilight psy with some dark thrown in. I'm usually harsh saying the artists need to be more creative which I still find true. As for the dancefloor, I can go mad to this stuff easily! It's more enjoyable to me at a party than at home. ok, so I like all the sounds and effects here. Like I said with my last post, the structure of them doesnt catch me. The sounds here are intense but they lack the punch a lead from Absolum can deliver. If somehow these squishy dark scratches made my ears bleed the same way - ;OOOO (face exploded) ;p the speed of this one really wants to turn me off but the melody (woa!) finally has a good hook in me. as if created by the devil that sits on Simon's shoulder, while his good angel has done all the music we know ;p

Follow it, no. Hate it, no. The artist Darkpsy, yes. He's good. 8) (Have his albums and seen him perform here in little ole upstate, NY - haha!) from some of the other answers - the really fast BPM - just cant do it. the random glitchy twitchy sounds - cant do that either. lots of dark psy to me is the same sounds arranged in different patterns. it's easy for an entire dj mix to sound like one long track. these tracks also fail to hook me. If dark psy uses these squishy psy fart, dark acid sounds to create layers and god forbid, a dark melody - then that sh*t is awesome! I find myself liking some dark psy that plays on DI when I'm streamed in. also - what level of dark are we starting with? I like Penta, some Kindzadza and Parasense, Rawar at times, I have a Simian track on my phone... ;p (thinks other random stuff) Xenomorph is dope, but has he done anything recently?

nice topic Exotic! I voted maybe because that depends if I got a few things, messages, out of myself before dieing. Although, I am ok thinking about death. It's a weird coincidence to stumble into this thread now because death has been on my mind lately (in ways, not suicide or anything) - and just yesterday I shared some of those thoughts with a friend in an email. I'll try to get the similar thoughts out here and will update if I missed something. The person you are now can really show itself to others after you have passed. It's what you left to others especially if they see you as an influence or someone to look up to, admiring traits. Maybe you are the type of person who has touched many people or changed lives simply by living your own, and people seeing that. After you have passed, it will heartbreak those who really love and appreciated you. That moment is then something really beautiful. You left something positive behind within others. I lost the closest person in my life in 2008. When she was still alive, I still saw her the way I do now. A uniquely special person I knew it would be hard to live without but never thought that day would come. Now I try to better myself or share the same traits we had when with other people. We were very much the same, she was my sidekick soulmate as I like to call it. If only the whole world knew someone like her. It's almost unfair to talk about. A positive person and always happy and easy to get along with. Insta-friend ;p Death can also bring people together who havent talked or seen each other in a long time. Hopefully those bonds will stay that way instead of it just being a temporary thing at a wake or whatever. Death can also give the worst feeling in the world. With my same friend, we hadn't seen each other in months which was a big mistake on my part. Something I wish I could have done differently. It was probably 2 weeks before she passed, I told a friend we need to go visit. There shouldn't be regrets on that though. Loving someone very much will usually make you question if death is real. It still does to me. Somewhere in my brain I think I can see this person again but remember that it wasn't a joke when I got the bad news. There are a few things in my mind, ramblings or secrets you could say, I would like out before my time comes. Just because I guess. To me, it would feel like a waste not sharing and also bring about something very beautiful too. Poetic and sweet. Life after death? I'd like to think yes. Sometimes thinking not helps. It's a hard sell. I'd like to see other's input here. 8)

cd playback problems most often on the very last track?
K-BAN replied to trancenonZENsedance's topic in General Psytrance
I know what you're talking about and wish I knew too. The only album I can remember this with off the top of my head is D-Tek - Earth Technologies. -
well it kind of is since we have differing oppinions. but I get you. I've heard lots of Slinky but there isnt much in my collection to remember besides the few posted here. The 'Lunar Juice' remix for example. love that one! heard it bunches. 'Fistfull of Mutants' has the undeniably UK sound. mmm, delicious! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cGdW91YnQ0 here here!

Any Psytrance Lovers From The United States?
K-BAN replied to FatKidWitAJetPak's topic in General Psytrance
Well, one would have to really investigate incest there to find out ;p and compare to the other states. but yeah, how does that state get that rap? To me its as forgotten about as little Rhode Island ;p Do you have psy parties to visit down there? Cuz NC is close and they probably have the biggest scene on the east. -
what is NNSW?? No Non-sense South West? ;p
-
I had this hunch it may of been you. I should of guessed so but then I thought.. "Would he do that to us?" guess so, haha! So has this song been released in the promotion threads or wherever? That's what I meant saying it had that software sound and such. reminded me when I discovered those areas on DI's forum and here and listened to peoples creations.

omg, yes! I never thought about this track in the same way but hearing it again now - it sounds like a baby "waawaa" haha!

I always thought these parts in the songs were sad and "crying" elements. when synths cry I guess ;p BIC feat. Tristan - Vermillion - 2:13 what awesome atmospheric layers this has http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPTKWOVPqJA and Talking Souls - Karma 209 - 3:28
