I loved extreme G! years ago, someone from Youtube sent me the tracks. If anyone is interested I can upload a zipped folder. I forgot to post songs for that in your new thread, Ormion. and this game below.. Vectorman 1&2 on Sega Genesis! I remember them having a more acid sound.. hmm ;p Vectorman 2 - more goa-ish than the first game. as for psychedelic material in the game, nothing beats N20 on Plsyation. I remember playing it being like "mushrooms are my boost? and the game gets all trippy and awesome Crystal Method soundtrack, haha! definately meant to be 8) edit!! wow! that Fulgore theme is siiiiiick! There were small talks about it in the last thread, so here it is! All tracks were taken from artist album released in either 2003 or 2004. This will be a challenge 8) If an album had a stand-out song from that year (at least in my mind), I tried to choose that one. Also, no idea why the video text is low resolution. I tried to alter/change it but Windows Movie Maker said "Nope! I'm going to give you errors from now on. no more editing for you!" ;p Good luck! Answers EDIT: Another reason I chose only from artist albums was because compilations more often have tracks from people that disappear forever. This at least shows you there was an great album under them. And if ever there is a ID game from compilations, it would probably be loads easier. That still depends where your ears were at during the time @_@

easily this one is number one for me! the first game I would sit back in the options menu and just play the music 8) and OMG this one too 8) the entire soundtrack was weird and DOPE! This game you could change the song in options and I always set it to this. this one would creep me out but I find it beautifully haunting now 8) All of Jet Force Gemini. one of my top 3 favorite N64 games. I was the first to upload a walkthrough of the game before Youtube had every game ;p lastly, never played the game but a few years before our arcade in the mall close, some version from this series still had a cabinet there. I was near the machine when I heard acid style music playing and just crazy stuff! I got near the speaker of the game and was just freaking out it was too good. so I looked on youtube one day a few months ago remembering that day and found this killer song!

I decided to punch sleep in its testes and have got the video done EXCEPT for the text that says which number sample is currently playing. It looks like Darkill will do that for me so expect this knew guessing game to be done soon 8)

well figuring out the video wasn't too hard BUT - its not letting me add text to show which sample its on. also no idea how to slightly fade in the samples unless that didn't matter. anyway! I have the stacks of cds on my floor, been there for a few months from a project I want to complete. I will work on taking the samples now. anyone else want to do the video part? I can send a zipped folder whenever I finish this. Also, would it be too crazy to have 50 different artists? ;p

this is definately a unique song but I feel looking at YSE compilations will only infuriate you. You'll find more progressive psy with them and crap psy. Those guys also label EVERYTHING goa trance. I can't think off the top of my head something to recommend... this is a cool song for sure 8)

ALSO! I wouldn't mind collecting 50 samples of psy trance songs. I just do not know how to make a video if someone wanted to do that part...(Im guessing you could do it quick if you had the music) I'll try to figure out this one program now. but yeah.. prob wont happen ;p

Did you like any of the ones I posted? they are more psy than their originals so for me, I can handle it more. I do like the original songs as well. classic song from the 80's 8) back in the 90's there was a group called Orgy that did their take on it. That is the first time I can remember bumping into 'Blue Monday' this video was so weird but still so cool to my young teenage mind - haha! the first video.. I hate what happens at 4:10. when a track does that my brain just screams "omg, really!" but yeah, the breaks, stutter step bullshit that plagues psy needs to end. its somehow clubby and commercial. but not psytrance. just think of psy as cyber goa. it too needs to melodies mixed in with that special equation of madness. Logic Bomb = DOPE! crazy right? in 2002!!! back when artists knew how to sound like ONLY THEMSELVES ;p Something I loved about L. Bomb was their more relaxed full-on approach. it wasn't always slamming. Something I thought Frequency Surfer and Frequency Deluxe did really well with their albums too. ya? 1200 mics - not sure what they have done since their 2003 album which I thought was killer. I wouldn't be surprised if they went downhil. A shame.

This was a good selection! I scored 20. I have been less active lately but will look up the 2nd and 3rd ID game. What's interesting about this 4th game was, a good amount of this selection was the tracks I listened to 10 and 11 years ago when kept finding more and more music. I listened to those tracks over and over! I could probably ID them in braille ;p now - nope! just artist names haha! some I didn't even get that. as for a psytrance one.. I would suck at prog or darkpsy for sure. full-on or much anything from 2003-2004/5 - I think I would clean house ;p At least with artist names haha! that stuff I too used to know every name... not so much now ;( one specific memory while at a non-psytrance friends house.. he was on psyshop playing samples and me guessing. Did them randomly about 6 & I nailed 'em all ;p He couldn't believe it. Thanks DI.FM 8)) (I sat my ass all day tuning in)
