so you mean remixes that aren't any good? we wouldn't EXCEPT them while listening to the album? if so, many remixes I think are that. I believe remixes need to go far enough to sound half familiar to the original. Its usually very little done to remixes and I find that stupid. Sometimes tracks change so much it should really be considered a REMAKE. Like Prana-Taiyo (Chakra rmx) - I consider that a remake. I'll listen to these suggestions now and maybe get a better idea... edit: AH HA! So you mean remixes based off other non-edm songs?? I know of a few (fetches them) I answered this same thread question on a DI thread where they were called Mash-ups. (tries to find that thread)

Sadly, I decided not to go to this event. I envy who does 8) I realized looking at tickets that I would have to stay an extra day after the event for my plane out of Croatia only to wait in Germany for 17 hours AND hope things go smoothly to get me home to NY, the day before I have to go to an event here in NY. That event I might have to drive out of state first to get someone. Not worth the risk. Any time Im traveling I get some dumb CRAZY delays. last year was waiting 12hours in London then another 12 hours (overnight) in Canada during my trip home. Thanks thunderstorms ;p Anyone who goes, please snag some pictures and videos

darkill - only because of the thread title I understand you meant to say 'expect' - my choice would have to be Prosper - Greece rmx from his Inplugged album. a rmx of the classic trance track 'Greece 2000' I do like that classic trance track and its not a bad rmx. edit: I see the youtube video says its 'Greece 2000' while the album cover just says 'Greece rmx'

Yes, Ektoplazm is.. just unheard of goodness! I haven't dug really far into there and have already snagged a handful of releases. A few years ago I did run across some releases that could be bouhgt if you wanted, so I snagged them since they have CDs pressed. anywho - well done! I know the music isn't all about the money but definately I wish you all make something off it at least.

Yes, Xerox and with collaborations with Illumination. Astrix was good like 10 years ago. But he too makes junk now. Alien Project was a solid Israeli project, anything by Vic Shefi (Cyber Cartel, Intergalactic collab with Injection). Most of my cd collection if from that golden age of pstrance.

thank you 8) Your previous comment was actually what made me post that. your description to me fits the current trend of cheesey psy. that psy makes me vomit! there is no soul to it. the bass sounds like fart "vert vert vert" sounds next to Absolum there is Audialize, Electric Universe and Space Tribe made some fantastic full-on! lots of madness between those two especially the ESP album. Frequency Surfer is a forgotten gem. Spectrum - XXX album defines the 2003 sounds. Nomad - many more!

get some good soaring and raunchy full-on like Absolum and friends. WHAMMO! 'Inside the Sphere' album is my example of good. Bad - the latest Talamasca. bummer.

yes, I'm a full-on whore as well as other good psychedelic music. but bad full-on, keep that sh*t away from me! first - I dislike the uninspired, cookie cutter, boring releases. you know when you hear them. singing - the woman crooning, making almost a religious experience is fine. but actual singing where Im waiting for the little ball to dance across the screen for a sing-a-long song - step outta my house!
