I'm like that now. I see all my old tshirts with logos of things I dont associate with anymore or designs I just dont care to wear around. Guess it is something about getting older ;p

yes! Beast Wars was dope! it had that serious action, superbly written - all that! There is a sweet 15th anniversary dvd collection if you're interested. 8) what a coincidence... I cant rememember if it was a magazine or that exact wiki page I bumped into recently.. But I did see that picture and just gape in aww "10k galaxies?" too much for the mind to handle ;p

Suomi first took me over from its different sound. I didnt know what it was but that it was funky and awesome. it felt soon after that i discovered its the 'finnish' style. it was probably Fractal Glider or Flying Scorpions. It stinks when songs are really short on the albums. Schizm and Speaker Grease are good compilations. Mandalavandalz - Chapora Nightlife is a great album! but the songs are way short 8( still funky groovey. When the style gets too random with sounds like some psycore, and loses its rhythm, I'm immediately turned off.

I'd also like to see Prodigal Sun return. What a unique style haha! I first saw that music video on psychedelic.ru years ago before there was Google Chrome to translate webpages. I just remember what the russian links did and one had music videos ;p well then Mr. Trevor - If you're reading this, live up to the promise and money will fly your way! I wrote the info description on psydb.net for The Green Nuns and Cosmosis. Twice in the past the Ozora Festivals used it for their site ;p just a small fact haha!

Darshan is playing at Lost Theory Festival at least. but yeah, I meant new music when mentioning them.
-
we were? do you think they were talking about Matt Coldrick's ' Green Nuns on Ice' chill/ambient album? thanks for clearing that up! and now the compilation name makes sense too.
-
oh man, never knew that 8( Me too! a quick Google search and I see he hasnt logged into Myspace since 2010 and his recent released song in 2012 was originally a track from '07. Anyway to get in touch with the artists? Anyone here based in Sweden and know how to contact this guy? haha! I'd at least like to say "hey! loved your first two albums!" I've not heard the rest but will order them ;D edit: he's the first result on Fbook if you enter his full name. I sent a message in hopes for a response 8)

Ouch hearing about your loss. I haven't lost any releases and hope I dont ;p I've at least made a list on my computer for ones I own. So if there is ever a day where I can't find something, I'll check the list to see if I once owned it. There are times I forget what I have, ahah!

What will happen to your collection after you're done with it?

While I'm alive, they're mine! When I'm dead, they get passed on to someone who will appreciate them. NO OTHER SILLYNESS ;p -
Post the most powerful-super intense Goa tracks

Glad to see Tandu up above again. that man knows how to deliver ;D Also! I have been seeing that Elixir - Furious track a few times on this forum since I returned and looked up the artist to find out.. its a 3 way awesome-fest between Absolum, Nomad and Talamasca - say whaaat! ;p not sure if this has been posted yet.. Green Nuns of the Revolution - Atomic Armadillo - easily their hardest hitting song. wish it was longer. this video sounds like it was taken directly from the Goa Head 1 compilation which I am familiar with it from. 2 other videos on youtube, the acid sounds are slightly different and its not the fluffening version from their album. anyways, the better original version I feel. Maybe the other 2 were the vinyl release. -
I have been doing so much buying of back catalogue releases I haven't paid attention to what may be coming out now or their projects. -Darshan -Alien Project -Suria - guessing still has a song now and again like Audialize does.. -Anax - had a killer album in '04 and found out he now does.. house music or something..? -Miraculix when I find time (busy lately) I'll browse around.
-
It wasn't until about my 2nd year into the scene when I bought my first album after finding Psyshop. I do believe it was Psydrop - Fantasy Seeds. Audialize - Wanted, Prana - Cyclone and Safi Connection - Authentic followed sometime after. I cant remember what exactly I got after Psydrop but those three releases followed shortly.

^Earwall - I know what you mean! I miss that feeling when you first discovered the music and didnt know how to get more. I had the internet then and lots of spare time which would of been the only way for me to get ahold of more music. Names of trance artists or goa legends, I would search them into the p2p programs and get more results. eventually getting more from the psychedelic scene and album names led to more. Google wasnt huge back then so Im not sure if I used that or yahoo or find obscure fan-made sites. those sites offered more names for me and somewhere along the way I realize goa trance is what I liked. When I end up having breaks from the music, unintentionally, those great feelings hit me again when I come back. Usually it will be like "This cd is STILL so f*cking goood!!!" haha

THIS PLACE LOOKED AWESOME! I would only go here. Totally my style! Moment of silence for them.... man! lucky you 8) still not sure how the cosmic pizza can stack up against NY style but I'm willing to try it ;p

hahah, what the hell is this?! Are they putting glue in a toothpaste tube? then laughing like maniacs? ;p so funny! especially in a city, a "dance" theme anything survives well. clothing stores play commercial stuff but even for me walking by or within those stores, it has a nice vibe. so a cafe would easily do it just as much. I always thought such a cafe should have a mini jukebox or something on the table where you can select what to play for your table. This could be done without interfering others. I remember being in the Virgin electronics store in NYC and walking a foot in one direction I heard different music from the ceiling speaker and it amazed me so I would walk a step or two back and hear the other song. such thing would work on a table I think too with hopefully not too loud a volume. But this could be expensive to add so if the place had an overall radio like almost any store, so be it ;D

Radi know's what he's doing 8) Since I'd be the foreigner, and chicks dig foreign guys (at least in the US they do. But being American may be fail ;p) I can help bring in the pretty ladies to work for your cafe. hehe! Pay them the moolah. If they aint getting a new pair of shoes come end of the week, they'll be gone! edit: backdoor - its pretty much saying you're not cool enough to enter the front, be seen and keep our image looking good. so please enter the OTHER way ;p

for me, music never divided me from my friends. Instead that is just our schedules and now our age with jobs and school getting in the way. I have a unique group of friends with a close knit many do not have. You would think we're all inner-dating cuz we can just act that close to one another and never have a question get thrown about it. Siblings connected through soul. Anywho, I was just the different one that listened to this weird music but they appreciated it and thought "yup, thats K-BAN" (Im the wacky insane of the bunch) 8)
-
hahaha! you all are hilarious ;p btw I would totally fly out to visit if this place happens 8) Maybe Radi you can hire me! I'd work for food so you can pay Boris and whoever else, instead of me, to come and play there. deal? @_-
-
"Captain Planet, he's our hero! Going to take pollution down to zero!" THEME SONG ;p Yup, I watched the show too. 8) so cheesey and good! I haven't seen it in yeaaaarsss... (searches up clips)

I figured as much 8) People on this forum are wise and would know the deal with YSE ;p If you feel your identity here isn't too tied to that avatar, make a custom 'GOA' one I did once and just had a simple microsoft paint project, haha!

Yes, it has deinfately happened to me but not for too long. Usually during a heavy depression. Any other smaller amount of times, I just wouldn't feel compelled to listen to cds or DI.FM. Bands I found to enjoy out of the genre were The Shapes and Solea. Recently Mogwai but this year I have been more into digging through the psychedelic history like when I first got hooked. The tidal wave has been in full effect for me and getting stronger. ^_- edit: some of the times in the past were when I was also feeling fatigued with the music from not liking what I was hearing. 06/07 the cheese psy was in full force. other times had the darkpsy being too same-y and boring. it still can be. or just crazy psycore. no thanks! The way music distribution has lots of artists releasing when they want and some only digitally now, I wonder if we'll ever see another golden age like the 03/04 (and 05) window.

Miraculix and S-Range coming to mind now. That'd be cool!
