  1. I will avoid this like the plague. No way it would not dissapoint, Arnold is KING!!!!!!!! "I have inhaled, exhaled everything." Arnold Schwarzenegger
  2. When I clicked the link I got a pop-up for a Star Trek pizza cutter
  3. The symbol on the first record is Rising High Records anything you find from them is going to be fantastic.
  4. Made in the 1990s by a guy that loved the old trance but didn't know what he was doing..... Now available on the internet for the first time in a lossless format. http://christophers.bandcamp.com/track/knowledge-through-evolution and its free even
  5. Building Windows 8 video: What do you think? I might actually upgrade to this within the first year of release. Already like the idea of grabbing the edge of the screen to open programs. I just hope it will be fine for those of us with old fashioned non-touchscreens.
  6. lol, it would be cooler if there was some smoke at the point the laser hits.
  7. There is always more to be said. Like the fact that music is not a corporeal thing. As a physicist, you should know that you can't roll a song down a hill and expect it to hit another song which then starts to roll down the hill. Mick Jagger famously lectured on this topic at Cambridge, then proceeded to name his band The Rolling Stones. As such, electronic music cannot be mastered. It cannot be contained into the sphere of a brass ball. One cannot capture the spirit, nor the essence of electronic music. Sure, you can study how sound waves travel through space, but that does not begin to understand how sound becomes music. Music theory is a set of understandings about sounds in 'notes' or pitches that we differentiate from other pitches like colors or smells. Again, it is not music and it cannot be used to master or define music whether it be electronic or not. Electronic music is famously easy to learn because we humans are already interested in electronics and technology. That is not universally true, however. Ask my mom to learn electronic music and she would fail terribly. She is not interested in electronics nor technology.
  8. lol - NO! yesterday I bought this
  9. The sound of a long time ago. Yea, I remember I had some of this in the 90's.
  10. This is true, and I definitely like the latter better, perhaps because it is so much rarer. Psytrance is almost becoming a stereotype with its use of vocal samples. Do you know what I mean? My eyes almost roll back in my head when I hear another 'mystical experience' type vocal.
  11. No one has posted pictures of cute girls for far too long!!!! And, yes Procyon, same in USA - better to become the cubicle you sit in everyday. But I don't want to think about work here psynews is for fun.
  12. It's better to talk to people who don't know the first thing about psytrance because the ones that have a little knowledge are the worst.

    Your sex

    as much as possible
  14. I am looking for a quality delay/echo VST. I have Adoppler, but it is so complex, I hardly use it. I've tried Fabfilter's Timeless 2 its pretty good, but expensive. Most of what I have are just the basics like Sonitus delay and Cakewalk's FX delay and they are probably too basic.
  15. I would have a lot more D'n B if that weren't true.
  16. No shit. This type of song is built around its samples - ie. song wouldn't exist without them. There are tones of examples of this in electronic music.
  17. I am glad you enjoyed yourself. I agree that now is probably the best time to visit Egypt. I have known some really nice Egyptians in America and think they are generally really nice people. Unfortunately they never have a good government and have crushing poverty and other social problems.
  18. No thanks I saw the South Park episode, good times.
