  1. I am also looking for more tracks like the first one, not so much the second one.
  2. this has been my game for the last few months
  3. For the purpose of explaining to an international audience I will note a few things about life in the United States of America. Our government and all of its workers are not overseen by effective forces, they have no checks and balances that function. For this reason many Americans believe that government itself is a bad thing. We hear stories everyday about how someone who works for a government agency has failed in their responsibility. For example, the other day I saw a news story about a person who was sent to a deportation detention area. They were a citizen of this country, but only after a lawsuit was filed did this fact come to light. It is an easy and populist thing for politicians in this county to simplify things in order to get elected and that is exactly what Ron Paul and many other are doing. Overall America has a shrinking workforce, whether it is in the public or private sector, the remaining workers get paid more while the unemployed fend for themselves. I have not seen any candidate for either party come up with an effective plan for the future of the country.
  4. The ratio at parties was not what I was talking about. I was thinking about the amount of people who buy EDM albums/singles, not the casual listener. The topic was also about psytrance, so I don't think we should lump all EDM into the debate especially since it is hard to put boundries on what exactly encapsulates EDM. Some people believe that Lady Gaga is EDM and I have seen her put into that genre in stores! I would strongly disagree that serious collectors of electronic music are split into the ratio of 1:1 male to female.
  5. Forgive me if what I am about to explain may seem quite mindbending, there is no way I know of for it not to since our perspective on Earth is limited. Einstein's theory of relativity is a great tool for understanding the Universe and applying this theory gets us much closer to knowing why things are the way they are. It was the idea that one's perspective has an effect on the speed time passes that was most revolutionary and most important, I think. The link between time and space is an area where our perspective here on Earth makes it difficult to properly understand with regard to its implications. For example: travelling into the future by accellerating and then returning to your original speed and point in space. The theory of relativity says that your time at a higher velocity will pass slower then people who stay at the same velocity. If the speed of light is a constant, you will notice light slowing down the faster you go. The space around you is bent more with greater velocity. It always takes energy to bend space. Gravity and velocity are both energy that act on space to bend timespace. It does not take a great leap to realise that gravity has the same effect upon time that velocity does, the greater the mass of an object, the more spacetime is bent and the more energy required to get it to accellerate. This is the same princible we see with objects in motion; the faster they travel, the greater the energy required to make them accellerate. Even in emty, open space. We used to think that beyond the matter that we knew of, objects could travel without friction acting on them, but the above princible suggests otherwise. Empty space is a thing that acts opon all matter and has an energy- dark energy perhaps, but a real effect upon matter. Light travels through this dark energy as a wave and we observe it's speed as a constant. If you were to accellerate, you would see the speed at whitch light travels decrease. The light that travels around you would be bent around the curved timespace to reach me at what I thought was the same speed. My perspective, being constant would hide the changes in the speed of light. I would see the light at the moment it reached me, but never before. I would be lost to tell of the history of the light through timespace because of my attachment to the same timespace. Remember that I noted that it always takes energy to increase the curvature of timespace above. By the law of conservation of energy we know that the energy in warping timespace is not lost. It exists in the timespace itself. If that is true, spacetime must be relative to the energy passing through it at a point in time.
  6. Don't let fire get in your way. The ability we have to think of things as constant is infinite. Fire is a moment in time and is usually thought of in relation to the absence of fire.
  7. 89% of all percentages are made up on the spot. I agree, however, that it is because of the propensity of males to become obsessive that they get into electronic music more then females. I think that electronic music is far more difficult to learn about and hear then pop music is so most women never get into it.
  8. Yea, it has been one of those days. Anyway this is about points of view - what it is can make everything different, or at least seem different. One day there was a frog on a rock. Is the frog at rest or about to jump? If you are a human observer watching from the shore you might say the frog was at rest. The reality of the frog might be totally different, however. To an insect flying over the pond, the frog would be seen as poised to lunge forward in one sudden and terrible motion, potentially ending the insect's existance. Perhaps a casual observer would not even see the frog, the meer fact that you, a human with human vision and human thoughts saw the frog at all says something about you. For example, you are one of the few who would see the small detail nessecary to spot the shape of the frog agaist the background. There is a reason that frogs are hard to spot. So, you are somewhat of a naturalist, perhaps someone with experience looking for frogs. Your experience will always color your view. Your memories are an indelable fact of your existance and they will be there with you as you look out over the surface of the pond and spot the frog. You are also more likely to assign your present condition to the condition of the frog. If you are at rest, you will see the frog as at rest as well. So is fire hot or cold? depends
  9. Well of course they are releasing it in 2012. On one day the movie will be released, then the next day the world will stop turning.
  10. When I would turn my older brother's 286 on I would go to the kitchen and fix myself a snack while it booted up
  11. Yea, but they ban naked hiking in the Alps...
  12. A follow-up to his 2010 classic 'Cows And Cows And Cows'
  13. No, the British love sensationalism, just look at their newspapers...
  14. I even changed it to no photo last night before changing it to see if that would make a difference, but no. I will try to have no avatar photo now.
  15. Well, I changed the photo again on the profile view and I still see the same avatar here. weird
  16. That is a bug then. I see my old profile photo as my avatar. In my profile view, I see the South Park avatar I changed it to. I will check to see what happens when I change my profile photo again.
  17. When I think of hardcore techno, I think of stuff like this http://soundcloud.com/rnmd/pasquale-maassen-four-tech or this http://soundcloud.com/rnmd/pasquale-maassen-bounded Most of the stuff posted so far sounds old-fashened to me or at least dated.
  18. No, there is just no place to change it that I can tell. I changed my photo in the profile view, but the avatar? I don't see anything.
  19. Someone changed my avatar and I can't change it back with the new forum version.
