From the time I discovered Eat Static in the mid 90's onward, psytrance has improved my spirits, given me something to think about, further alienated me from my neighbors, and improved my view of psychedelic music generally. I have also had a great time here on psynews laughing at/with people from around the world which, in my opinion, is priceless.

Just checked my folder, don't have that sample. This happened to me when I was using FL Studio a bunch of times, sorry I know the hassle. Now I have all my samples in only one folder and back that up on dvd. Now that I use Sonar it copies all audio to the project folder, but any sample vst can still lose the file

I basically make music for myself and since I don't have a lot of ambient in my collection I will be devoting the rest of the year to making some quality ambient. Anyone have any tips or suggestions? Synths that sound good, effects that are atmospheric etc. Just laid down some long, long sweeps with the moog and that sounds great so that's one element I've got for sure.

Few days ago I watched "Conan The Destroyer" Arnald's break-out movie. True to the comicbook cheesefest in every scene- it is a classic. Bonus, it has Grace Jones in it.

Yea War or the Worlds (1953) should have been on that list. Too often it is dismissed as just old sci-fi, but the movie is awesome as far as I remember, better than half the movies on your list. The original War of the Worlds is a true classic movie.
