  1. IDM stands for Intelligent Dance Music.... a bit of an overused genre name ....never been that popular in any country. The trance I got in the 90s was called....IDM....

  3. ambient is boring to me generally, however a few people are able to make non-boring ambient like Richard James I don't shop for ambient though, too much sucks IMHO.

    Brüno?

I just saw Ali G indahouse, it was OK, but I didn't laugh. I think the new movie will be on par with that movie. More of a nitch movie I suppose.

    Brüno?

It could be good, although not as good as Borat. Borat was genius.

  17. do you want me to describe it, haha it is on a lot of synthesizer ROMs - at least I know Yamaha, Roland, and Korg i.e. anyone could just buy a cheep 90s synth and get this sound
  18. You know you can make that sound with a "hi-Q" sample and some delay.
  19. +1 to Aeros comments Repeditivness comes from not thinking the track through enough. Take a break from it and listen to your favorite music or go for a hike. Or you can come on over here and listen to what I'm playing with ATM. Sometimes I shelve something for months and then come back to it when I'm fresh. Listening to what you've done over and over can drain the creativity.
  20. That's awesome, now I'm going to be reading this on my laptop.
