  1. All I know is that the site is NOT updated.
  2. Kirk sporting a rock but I'm Star Wars
  3. Movie about practical ways businesses can change how they think about waste and recycling. I have been reading about this stuff, but the movie makes it feel so much more plausible to adapt environmentally friendly practices and stop our spirling towards oblivion as a species. Interesting and well made. 8/10

Yes, this is a funny movie. One day it will be considered a classic B-movie.

  9. Indeed, this is a great album and everyone should own it.
  10. ...was like a bad trip for me...
  11. Yea, this is the ultimate classic and probably stuck with me more than 99.999% of other music. One of the greatest songs ever made?....
  12. No, that was pretty good. I'll be looking for spoonbill in the shops now.
  13. I found out this stuff by accident. I didn't know what to call it at first, just that cool sound. I still have to point out that the music comes out different depending on the setup you use. From hardware to Acid to Friutyloops and then to Logic now to Sonar there is a difference in the final thing. I just got done watching a film from someone who poo poos digital video and only shows 16mm film projection. ---that's with a reel kids - weird yes! I get arrogance every day almost :drama: but I deal with it.
  14. sounds like a book to read this summer, hope the translation didn't ruin it I'm done with Philip K Dick
  15. Difficult question I prefer at home most of the time BUT I have had more 'oneness with the music' expiriences at parties/clubs. A great dj can change your life... But seriously, the energy of a great party can take you away. It doesn't happen often though.
  16. That is the one. Filmed in the crumbling soviet empire, it is a visual feast for those who like the disintigrating urban atmosphere. I am not that big on urban landscapes and my photos reflect this. The existentialist nature of the film is good though.
  17. I volunteered to work at the Marylhurst University Filmfest last night and I got to see this movie by Oscar nominated animator Bill Plympton, who is from oregon, and I was totally enthralled. It is an amazing work of art that I recommend to any movie fan. I had seen one or two of Bill Plympton's short films at animation festivals before, but it had been a long time and I barely recognised the name so I didn't know what to expect. The movie is about an asshole guy who wakes up one morning to find he is starting to grow wings. I watched most of this movie standing up (as an usher) and it was still worth it. 10/10 :clapping:
  18. It is a silly question. Cover art is just a bonus for me, don't really care, but if it's nice that's good. At the same time I wish I knew a great artist to do me a cover, so if you are one, PM me.
  19. The limiter that comes with Sonar 8 has a "master" preset that is -1.5 db. What was said before is true, if your sending to a masterer, don't compress/limit the mix. No digital recording should ever go above 0 db ever. Some pros master to -0.5 db to be safe. Remember, loudness is subjective, there is nothing measurable to perceived loudness. 'Air' in a recording is a good thing because the ear will tire of a continually loud sound no matter what it is.
