This happens with regular "jewel" cases aswell and, yes it is a pain. My cd's are all in cd holders so I am not affected anymore. My only suggestion is maybe put a rubber band around the digipack

the digital audio on cd's has a max dynamic range of 100 decibles, bombs typically are 200db and above stupid, stupid cover

Well the last few days I've just plain left it on (with the computer off). That seems to work just fine (for now) and the blue light isn't too annoying on all night. If I had a money tree growing in the backyard, I'd get an RME multiface.

I have a fasttrack Ultra now and it has been a good interface for me overall but I have recently had to go though a lot to get audio output from it. The light goes on and it should be on, but the panel shows no connection. What I did that worked last time was to unplug it and then replug it and turn it on. Are USB interfaces all kind of wierd like this or do I just have a bad driver?

I first started having dreams with music after all-night raves. I am never playing an instrument, just listening/creating a constantly changing sound in my head. It is a rare occation that I can remember it for more than an instant after my eyes open. I have used one or two little bits of melody in my music, never very much though.
