So last night I decided I wanted to remix an old track, but I have no idea what the bpm was. I know Sonar reports a wrong number, and there are no snare drums or things with a rapid attack to line up. This drove me crazy last night.

More for the audio interface then software, but I know I like Samplitude. I used it to record back when I sequenced everything on my Yamaha ie. 1998-2002. I need an iterface with analog audio I/O, digital audio I/O, midi I/O and I like the headphones out too. Don't need many ins and I think I'll only use 4 outs for two sets of speakers.

Already have Sonar. This is what I am looking at.

Not really about moderation, but a complaint nonetheless. I just made a nice new avatar but it is 51kb and the limit is 50kb I think 50kb is too small! It should be changed to 60kb.

I want one small enough to take it anywhere you go. It can sample sounds and filter out the other sounds you don't want intelligently like my brain can. It has ROMs of all classic synths made so far. It has a super smooth 24 pole lp filter. It includes FM synthesis. It has 100's of user defined patches/programs. It has a digital output and a sound input. It has a nice keystroke. Can be 256 poliphany or monophonic. It has an overdrive feature with a tube distortion built-in. It is easy to use. It's affordable.

I find its best not to have the stress of other things in the way while making something. Although if they are just little things, making something is good to forget everything else.
