  1. just got through listening to TB Resusitation seems old but right for my mood
  2. Roland has always made a lot of shit quality stuff with wall warts and bad manuals etc. The 303 was just so bad it was good.. For a few weeks I worked at a Radio Shack with a friend before christmas and they where selling this toy box with a microphone - it made the most knarly sound when you dove the mic into the speaker - I should have bought it. But that was before I had my recording gear, Oh well.
  3. That Macs still use the lame one-button mouse is the big stopsign for me as far as getting a new Mac. I mean if there syle is that important that they sacrafice user interface I am not interested. Computers are tools not some cool guy gimme a break!
  4. Midi ninjas here! Hard to diagnose online, but from what you describe it doesn't sound like your midi input - is it the Midisport Uno? If you are getting the midi in then it is the setting on your software sequencer. This can be trickier then first you might think. Changing anything can through this off... I would suggest checking with another software program to see if it works. Reset the settings - that is undo and then redo the MIDI in port in the software. I am unfamiliar with your software setup so I can't help other then that.
  5. Yea, it is a headach to deal with the reality of it but I think it can only get better from here. We are in a between time of sorts with music in general. The end of the digital cd and the beginning of less packaged media.
  6. Looks like you Meloncolyman, but then all Swedes look alike - girlymen!
  7. I was super selective last year and didn't buy as much because of it. There were a few releases people on these forums liked that where bad. I will not name names though.
  8. Sounds like a soundcard audio buffer thing to me. Increase the buffer size and repeat same - see what happens. Next idea is switch the patch cables, they can go bad.
  9. That is a nice shot. Orange-breasted something or other.
  10. Starting with the bass is not a bad idea and I have done it like that in the past. Bass is quite important in dance music. I should start with my lp's bass next time.
  11. With all of my music I end up making it a different way. I don't try to make any type or style of music though. I believe the more ways you know how to do something, the better you are at doing it. Although I may be delusional.
  12. It is setup for silence at first. Took me awhile to figure it out : 1. use a preset 2. Load a sample 3. set it to 'vocode' 4. set the moniter section to 1+2 output I guess you can have two samples messing with each other, but I haven't messed with this yet.
  13. You must increase latency. Make sure to increase it above what sounds click-free the first time. If you are just recording, it will be fine you can always put it back down when your done recording a final project. I did this a few times because I was convinced the frequency transients above 20kHz needed saving. now I just record to 24bit 44.1
  14. You need a sound engineer like me to come and fix it. I charge 200e an hour.
  15. How is the new wave editor in FL studio 7? Is it as good as Sonic Foundry?
  16. +1 those bastard Swedes! I used a sample in my Journey to...song but have been playing with Vokko.
  17. I almost never bother with the radio. There is an independant that has a reggie show on the weekend that I sometimes listen to but that is it.
  18. ...and I thought you just drank a lot of wine They look great and should make a good christmas gift.
  19. I had the crack or Orange years ago....only used it for one song - ever. $20 is cheap compared to Orange's $150
  20. Bladerunner - motion picture soundtrack used but in mint condition :posford:
