Released together with another album with the promising title "Groove Immersion" Those little samples on Amazon say very little of course. Steve Roach is always quality. There's something for everyone. My favorites from recent years: 1. Dream Tracker (probably the best tribal ambient ever made, together with Fever Dreams II) 2. The Desert Inbetween 3. The Road Eternal 4. Journey of One 5. Sigh of Ages

Both Family Guy and South Park are really losing it. Although, the very latest South Park S15E04 is kinda funny. Ohhh the latest Game of Thrones should be available.

Nice topic. Alexander Scriabin - Prometheus, The Poem Of Fire This is very powerful music. The deal with this music is it gets better the more you listen. The dissonance, or unusual harmony, may put you off at first, but those who persist may start to appreciate and find beauty in it. When I listen to this now for the 15th time or so, I don't hear any uglyness or randomness anymore. Because I now recognize its structure (more or less) and the various little themes this piece is built on. The final chord is the greatest chord in the history of music. Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2UFPH-8lNE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Rl-VKk9Mz0 -

Gave this a lot of thought but now I'm sure of it. It's Scriabin - Sonata for piano # 2. steady, calm, gentle, dreamy, introvert for the most part http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6nuGZ3-BA4 (movement 1) but at times energetic, fiery, angry, passionate http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toA5f34gFz0 (movement 2)

^ Because it's only just airing for like a month. Watched episode 5 today. Had the most action so far. Lot of story building and the pace is quite slow. I feel the best is yet to come. There are a lot of references to past events that I haven't completely figured out yet. Sean Bean is cool and there are plenty more solid characters.

BLOOD BOX - THE IRON DREAM This album is fantastic. A mindbending trip. Very active and varied... shifting, warping, taking your mind just anywhere. The range of sounds, frequencies and moods this album throws at you is unlike anything I've heard before in dark ambient. Actually, dark ambient is too limited to describe this music. A big new favorite of mine, not just among dark ambient but electronic music in general.

I've listened to many trance mixes of mostly mediocre stuff, just to discover that ONE track, because I know there are still rare gems in this genre.... and here it is: Fuuuuuuck me this track is absolutely fantastic!! Put on HD, turn up the volume and get ready for pure aural pleasure.

The Orb feat David Gilmour - Metallic Spheres

The track is quite nice, but a little generic yes. Offtopic, I listened to another video after this one (from the what are you listening to right now topic): and I noticed the harmony ....start this video when the orb video is at exactly 2:04! try it yourself, cool huh! they mix nicely for about 40 seconds wow it would've made the orb track a lot better LOL -
let's get this topic going again! Above & Beyond - Oceanic wonderful uplifting tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2H9ck0-JIo Saucerman - Aquarius (DJ Atmospherik remix) awesome classic

After Super Castlevania IV, my second favorite video game soundtrack of all time: Secret of Mana for the SNES, naturally... -
Super awesome. That guy is the god of nerds and I don't mean that in a degrading way.

it had little to do with dreams or anything remotely plausible for that matter, but I still liked it anyhow

Here it is. The final part of Super Castlevania IV. The most epic moment in the history of gaming, for a large part thanks to the music. -

My favorite VG soundtrack is easily Super Castlevania IV. The atmosphere they managed to create in that game with graphics+music is a piece of art. The entire soundtrack is great, but my favorites are the final tracks. With those tracks they turned the last part of the game, the last boss fights and the final battle with Dracula into an epic, cosmic battle between good and evil. -

VANGELIS - HYMNE (SYNTHESIZER GREATEST COVER) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LO6Cnev2d4s Oh man, total nostalgia... listening to this as a 12 year old on cassette, it was the most wonderful thing I had heard. -
