  1. I'm sorry to say that the worst forms of psytrance have become worse than the worst forms of eurotrance.
  2. Trentemoller - Polar Shift Me likes! I'm impressed.
  3. It's just the way he works I guess. Seems to me a lot of his music is made in more or less spontanious sessions.... those albums are made in a couple of days or weeks maybe. He's not the kind of musician that works on an album for months or even years... that makes his music more spontanious and less detailed.
  4. Solar Factor - Urban Shakedown (G&M Project Remix) love it
  5. Good one... very clear sound quality. Maybe some of the sounds are a bit basic in nature, but the nice melodies compensate for most of that. Maybe you could use some background ambience/samples to spice things up here and there.
  6. PAUL ELLIS - SHINING argjaslksdfjaghadfhhporiewqtphzcvmnzxcvb!!!!!!!!! I still can't believe how completely utterly AWESOME this track is. At some points it's almost like the sequencer(s) can't keep up. This track is... a victory over machines.
  7. Vangelis - Memories of Green I don't know in what scene from Blade Runner it's used but.... I'd say this would be heard by a mysterious, lonesome figure, who feels lost, living in a huge futuristic city...he's sitting behind the windows of a small, dark cafe, thinking about his past....while outside the rain is pooring down.
  8. Ulrich Schnauss - Monday Paracetamol Wonderful as always.
  9. Nice But if your not familiar with Steve Roach I wouldn't buy so much all at once...you could be disappointed, it's certainly not for everyone especially some of that tribal stuff I think.
  10. cool topic! And guess what's playing atm: Steve Roach - On This Planet. I've been playing it daily.. very inspiring track. I feel it should be heard somewhere out in the open. At some remote, desolate, inhospitable place... far away from human civilization. A place that makes you feel small and one with nature. Maybe even on top of a spectalucar rock formation. Hmm yes, that's it!!
  11. I've watched and listened some more and gotta say wow... WOW! I'm gonna order Kairos asap. Just check that entire clip out. The music sounds phenomenal. I like the fact that it's varied and taken from different sources (from existing albums and new material all mixed together into something new).... So it's not just an endless exploration of the same theme, like some his recent and sometimes tiresome normal albums. This is a great showcase of his music. And the visuals look great too. Steve Roach is simply operating on a different level, the guy is a fucking soundwizard.
  12. Age 9 keyboard/synth lessons.. I think I did record stuff sometime with the help of the teacher on a very old cubase or cakewalk version or whatever. Age 15 Fasttracker 1
  13. And The Day Turned To Night Dorset Perception Shpongle Falls
  14. http://www.steveroach.com/Features/Kairos/download.php that's just great...I recognize elements from some of his albums.. seems he made a big potpourri of it and added new elements as well
  15. Jup but that's my personal opinion. In the end you either totally love it or completely hate it. True art evokes such extreme reactions. Maybe not the best one to start with. Core, On This Planet, Blood Machine would be better starters. My favorites: Structures from Silence, On This Planet, Magnificent Void, Blood Machine, Core, Serpent's Lair Also good: Empetus, Soma, Life Sequence, Well of Souls, Early Man, Body Electric
