  1. UNIVERSAL STATE OF MIND - ALL BECAUSE OF YOU great classic trance tune 8)
  2. TETSU INOUE - CHILL IN CHILL OUT amazing, what a genius... it's the perfect chillout track
  3. Ulrich Schnauss & Longview - Can't Explain wonderful
  4. Danny Elfman - Edward Scissorhands - Storytime Danny Elfman - Edward Scissorhands - The Grand Finale goosebumps all over, someday I'll be a movie composer and make music like this =)
  5. Pete Namlook & Geir Jenssen - Sky Lounge what a perfect title and track.... indeed like you're in some kind of lounge room high in the sky in some futuristic hotel in a Jetsons-like world haha
  6. I know too little psy to make good judgement but I vote for Pleiadians - Maia anyway.
  7. You make good music when you're drunk, I like it... the sounds and melodies are very nice Now it simply moves along, adding this, changing that, introduce part, remove part...break here and there... Maybe you could try to make a more continuous flow out of it... that builds up tension, working towards a climax.. that way it will have a more entrancing effect. I think it could be more cohesive one way or another.
  8. have a look at his site, cool stuff coming up! http://www.steveroach.com/store/store.php?item=353 http://www.steveroach.com/store/store.php?item=355 http://www.steveroach.com/store/store.php?item=360 I'm gonna get that DVD for sure.. finally some visuals with the music =)
  9. it's like a little ambience combined with massive industrial broken beats... I have no idea how he makes it sound THAT loud but still listenable (check tracks like Borax, Drill, Actor Nine)
  10. I guess my last recommendation still stands.
  11. to my definition yes.. if you play it loud enough =)
  12. I like this track: Front 242 - Moldavia
  13. hard not to mention if we're talking AMBIENT... the real thing, not psybleh
  14. uuhm ok so you want big stomping raging but not too fast and...subtle? that's pretty hard Speedy J - A Shocking Hobby ? not that much melody and subtlety though some sort of dark heavy drum 'n bass?
  15. Tangerine Dream - Rubycon (part 1) Play loud on headphones and it will meet all these requirements.
  16. Steve Roach & Vir Unis - Born of Fire Mighty awesome track. The flute is in the second part. Gives me the chills. Robert Rich - The Walled Garden Seems like it's almost entirely made of a type of flute sounds. These tracks don't have instant appeal or 'standard' harmonies... but give it a try and listen some more. This stuff works best when you're dozing off.
