  4. Thx a lot for your input everyone. I hope to check some out soon and give feedback.
  5. Thanks =) Most of the tracks are only partial or even just a fragment (velvet voyage, passing inner shield). Dunno exactly which one you mean but thanks I don't make tracks that often but I've recently started on something (melodic) again.
  6. Gimme 5 awesome melodic tracks from the last 5 years. I want energetic music with uplifting dramatic melodies (not happy). With a powerful and warm sound in the lower frequencies! Not too much thin and harsh sounds in the high frequencies. No progressive, dark psy, fullon or whatever. Just melodic trance. thx 8)
  7. Steve Roach & Vir Unis - Sense it gives me such a special feeling
  8. PAUL ELLIS - SHINING oh. my. god. it's an audio orgasm, that's what it is
  9. Yes, that's how I start... one sound or one randomly found melody can lead to an entire track.
  10. And now for something completely different: Constance Demby - Novus Magnificat: Through the Stargate Part 1 Yes, it's called New Age and that's not something I generally listen to. But let's put it this way... if you're not annoyed by the New Age label and all the 'aaahhh' synthvoices... if you like 'spacemusic' and if you're up for a some serious composition (in the classical sense), you might like this one, very much. I admit there is a certain cheese factor, but you need to look beyond that. I know I liked it. Might be a 'guilty pleasure', but who cares. It's a grand, breathtaking, profound and beautiful experience. But if people hate it I can understand that too.

  12. Well, one of reasons I like the Ozrics is because their tracks are not just wild jam sessions, there is structure and direction.
  13. Nobuo Uematsu - Final Fantasy 7 - Fully Orchestrated Main Theme
  14. Dark ambient mix with plenty of variation. It might be fairly heavy and twisted, but not unlistenable if you're used to this sort of music. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PRZG7H34 Disconnect from your existance and escape to a fascinating world of dark and mysterious atmospheres.
