Apocalyptica - Hall of the Mountain King WICKED

My list of all time best electronic albums would definately include a lot of "beatless ambient" along with 70s synthmusic that has ambient qualities. Now there's one track I think y'all should listen to, the unbelievable: Steve Roach - Infinite Shore You will not comprehend this track the first time. Let your ears and brain adjust. Listen to it some more and you might discover the beauty of it. Believe me, it only seems easy... it's not like you play a few random synth presets and get results like this.

well if only those few samples ruin it for you.. I think they work pretty well with the rest of the music

Raison D'Etre Fascinating dark, gothic ambient.

I second that. You'll have to give it a serious chance... some patience is required. I like this ambient because of the fascinating sounds and atmospheres it creates... music without rules or boundaries... it can play with your mind and imagination... and of course it has very relaxing qualities. There is beatless ambient that I find too boring and only works as background noise... there's some very minimal stuff that just doesn't work for me. But good ambient can be listened to intensively OR used as background music for chilling, sleeping, meditating.

Vangelis - Blade Runner (End Titles) the best track ever to end a movie with gives me goosebumps everytime

Tangerine Dream - Tangram Set 1 recommended, ofcourse

Klaus Schulze - Floating I wonder if I will ever get tired of it.

why not make it an online release for free download, just like a netlabel release... create a nice page for it et voila... all you need is some webspace it's about music and fun after all, who cares about money... you don't need any money involved in this.. it will only make things complicated

I think both require some of the same skills and some different skills... but if an established artist of either styles knows his stuff... his music can become too 'easy' when it's just a matter of using the same tricks and sounds

sounds are good, melodies oK but could use some more variation overall it sounds too dry, use some reverb and more stereo panning, it will give your track more depth

The Hive and most of the reworked singles.. some tunes really go nowhere...just not my taste. I do like the original singles, some other LSG tracks and Into Deep.

sounds interesting so far I like about 50% of his stuff

because there's so much ambient that I like better than most psy-ambient I know so from my point of view I'd recommend other stuff
