Scatterbrain - Wool Gathering is in my opinion definitely worth mentioning. I'm not particularly fond of the track itself (it's quite dull), but it's got some wicked voice samples.

Off-topic - The Turrican-series is a true classic, and not only music-wise. Hülsbeck surely knew what he was doing.

I wouldn't refer to it as music reminiscent of the C64 in particular, although Crazy Ducks - Duck Season !!! does have that NES-feeling about it. If 8bit is good enough. And yes, as stated above, there are also various Super Mario remixes (well, more or less). If I'm not totally mistaken, I think there's a track called Super Marijuana Brothers (Bros?) or something suchlike. I'm not at home atm though, so I can't really look further into it.

Actually, it was 2004. Awesome album, nevertheless. I was in love with Gaijinrocker back then. Still love it.

Space Clinic is a masterpiece. Always puts a smile on my face, too. Euphoric track.

Then there's of course the complete opposite, tracks that would've been much more enjoyable without horrible quotes and samples, as stated earlier in this thread. Bio-Tonic - Fly Away is a good example of mine. Powerful track ruined by samples of uttermost crapiness.

Fractal Glider - Chasing Ganesh(a) - Mediocre track (well, it's ok) wrapped around some brilliant samples (even though I'm not a big Simpsons fan at all). This goes for both the original version of the song as well as the 3D Remix. That's the only one I can think of ATM.

I remember listening a lot to The Prodigy - Poison, discovering 'Music For The Jilted Generation' more and more as a result. As for psytrance and the likes, The Delta - As a child I could walk on the ceiling pretty much did the trick for me.
