Uncountable times have I tried; be it indoors, outdoors, sober or drunk, happy or pissed off, sleepy or wide awake, sad or with my feet off the ground, and it just does not work. And this goes for virtually all of his work, but I decided to start here since "Witchcraft" seems like his most praised work to date. I can't dance to it, listen to it at home, chill or get buckwild to it; be it a good speaker system or a pair of great headphones. Can drugs be the answer? I have never taken any illegal substance in my life, so I might be just talking non-sense here, but maybe this actually works when you're stoned out of your head... Anybody? I do not know what else to do in order to make this sound interesting, captivating, or even get the motivation to keep on listening. I cannot call this excellent, and likewise, I cannot label it sub par... It's not boring, meaning that monotomy, dullness, copy & paste and cheap production tricks are all a huge no-no here! But, not during the brightest hour of my day could I be caught saying that there's really anything amazing, mind blowing and "Oh my f****ng god, how did he pull that off right there?!?!" about it either... Sandman does not impress me. But neither does he disillusion. This album takes me nowhere I'd like to be, and it doesn't create any moods or make me wish for I place I'd like to be- it just leaves me... Well, flatlined, if I may? I seriously doubt it's a matter of giving it more time to sink in, or listening to it when in the mood, 'cause I've been an owner of this piece of plastic for around six years now, and I've listened to it in every possible state of mind known to mankind. This album, as well as all of his work, lands in that who-knows-where-&-why category...

How Good? They were divine... My all time favorite label- although my favorite artists and releases maybe did not have to do (that) much with Flying Rhino Records, and honestly, I didn't even enjoy much of their releases after V.A. Third Flight- Slipstream, which does not necessarily make them bad! This great label experimented and pushed forward the envelope when few others did, and put out an entire sand storm of releases, spanning a wide spectrum of styles, ideas, sub genres and what not! I had the opportunity to hear James Monro and Gus Till DJ in Zagreb around 2000, and both tore the roof off with the amazing classic tunes forged for this marvellous label. No matter what you want your psy trance to sound like, Flying Rhino Records most probably has a solution! P.S.: Just for the fun of it, my favorite, and IMHO the only really classic Flights, are the 1st and the 3rd installation! Such beautiful music is beyond words. The 2nd one, Turbulence, has some great tracks, but unfortunately also suffers from some painful filler material...

antic, if I had 41 euro, I would buy it immediately. It's rare, it's old, it's Psy Harmonics, it's... it's... You're still reading? GO BUY IT!!!!! If you do not like it, PM me, keep it reserved, and I'll buy it from you for a higher price once I get my act together!

Slinky Wizard- Slink Wizard EP (12") (1994) magical three classics on this one V.A. First Flight (1996) this has got to be my favorite old school compilation ever, it is packed with classics! V.A. Air Born (1997) jogs alongside the First Flight compilation Green Nuns Of The Revolution (1997) this insane release will never die out in my ears P.S.: I always though that Flying Rhino's peak period was right there during '95/'96/'97... Pick virtually any vinyl, album or compilation from that period and you're bound to find exclusively excellent, top notch music!

Jos Wink (Don't Laugh, Higher State Of Consciousness), Man With No Name, Solar Quest (Acid Air Raid), CJ Bolland (The Prophet), Members Of Mayday (The Bells Of Reformation, Sonic Empire)...

Dude, those are lame excuses for somebody that eager to get drunk... Ship the booze by air mail, and make sure to notify that the buyer (or whatever he might be called in this kind of deal) is to cover all transfer and/or shipping costs! If he/she wants one of your CDs on their shelf, make 'em pay up! And let you drink up! Cheers!!!

WOW! Whatta tracklist...!!!! *YAWN!* I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. Actually they're already closed, but this tracklist suddenly opened them. And hell, even Dogma (Zagreb's once most known psychedelic trance project ) made it through... YAWN* again... I'll just let it d/l and play tomorrow... P.S.: For the quoted track, didn't you mean Electron Wave- Gravity Well, from the album "Uncertainty principle"? But man, what a string of amazing tunes... I'll sure have something nice to wake up to in the morning!

Coming to think of it, this has become one of the most wicked, interesting and constructive threads lately. I say we all drop our highly appreciated opinions about the supply/demand & buyer/seller relationships. For no specific reason, though. Just for the fun of it.

I'm glad you made it Jon. It is never too late. Even on discogs you can clearly see and read that the Tunnel Records version of "Trip to trancesylvania" was released in 1993 , and some of its tracks were even recorded prior to that date... Hence X-Dream's current status as the true, pioneering, evolving and always changing masters of the genre! :clapping:

I actually find it quite amazing... There is this one track, Ping I think it was called, which is just marvellos! I thought it was cheap, at least that is what I understood from this whole 1 cent discussion and all. The frisbee part beats my comprehension though... Anyways, I even find it good enough to actually fetch a new CD from saikosounds for the guy. Wait, saikosounds doesn't even ship to my place... Or does it?

While I find Ofer's '97 "Multimoods" album, under the name Tandu, to be one of the top 5 releases to ever come out of Israel, and his album under the Pigs In Space alias to be a highly energetic, driving and pumping piece of music, "Delirious" goes nowhere. Yeah it's uplifting, yeah the kicks are hard as stone, but it's all stuff that has been pulled off a thousand time better. In addition to that, I don't find the style enhancing enough to keep you interested on a full album scale. The tracks all sound the same, they all use the same sounds, effects and tricks- but that's not the main problem. What really pokes my eardrum here is that Ofer's style is not good and manifold enough to last the whole nine tracks... It is all on one, same plateau, and despite constant attempts and their accompanying what-nots to keep the album at peek level non stop, it does get annoying! BUT, when it works, and when it really all comes together, the results are awesome. Just check the undeniable force of Uplifter!!!! The title tells it all: this is a track Oforia would have wanted to reproduce nine times and make an album out of it. Why Not On Mars? comes in close, with a slew of cool melodies throughout, and yeah, I find Outer Conception kind of cool as well. I'm really digging the kick on that one. And those melodies kicking in at around four minutes are crazy too All in all, I don't consider it a classic or essential release. If you wanna know what the hype is about Ofer Dikovsky, run for the Tandu album, or his Pigs In Space project. I give this a 6/10 for its energy, but that's more or less all it has to offer...

+ 1 Making people pay symblic prices for high quality versions of your releases won't make you look like an "underground-turned-mainstream" sell out label... Unfortunately, we don't live in a world where making a living is possible by spreading good vibes & releasing great music for free.

Oh for fuck's sake, can't you stop bitching??? Would you all please quit the nonsense and send me a free copy of Quirk's amazing debut if it's so cheap and easy to find. That way we could all close this thread and live happily ever after, sealed off in our transparent psy trance spheres! God, I just have to spam... :wank:

Why not just set up a trade and demand a six-pack of Stella Artois for a CD then...? Or even better, that "Bear" beer you so proudly brag about...

Tea Chairs- Tea chairs (Demon Tea Recordings) (2007) Cosmosis- Akashic (Holophonic Records) (2005) Vishnudata- Dreamforce (Space Boogie Productions) (2007) Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat stuff!!!

The timeless opener Radio and the wicked and intense Freak, which still stands on solid grounds as my all time favorite X-Dream track, are honestly the only two numbers that still to this day succeed in fully captivating my attention. On those extremely rare occasions when I feel like knocking the world off its axis I put on Psychomachine... The rest is not necessarily bad or dated, but it's light years from being to my liking. "Radio" has IMHO lost its freshness with time, I much more prefer their 1997 "We created our happiness" release or their side project's, Children Of Paradise, "Urban alien" album, for when I'm in the mood for some technoish trance...

Oh, it actually arrived? It only took two weeks. Who cares when the music is this good. Sorry, I meant to say excellent!!! I don't think an in-depth review is really of essence here, as only few do not know this one by heart yet. Be it CD-R's, ripped WAVs, MP3 or the Intastella Records original, this is a release everyone knows. Where do I even begin or finish here? This is, front to back, one of the most skillfully produced, blissful, melodically explosive, positive and sought after albums in the history of goa trance. I have no other choice but to place this one on my top shelf right up there with the rest of my favorite releases. Man, a kazillion thank yous to Suntrip Records for making this possible- the cover art simply shines, even the CD design is superb, the new sound coating is a story of its own, while the music... Well, the music is just classic here. 10/10. All I can say. And I have not once wondered why- this is as great as the melodic, dreamy, spaced out old school goa trance got! None of their later work or side projects ever matched this. None. They never could recapture the magic displayed on here. Better so, as you can only better appreciate the true marvel of Transdimensional. Get it. Do not waste time, don't let it pass you by again! Favorite tracks: Purple Om (ever since I first heard the album, this has been my #1), Deep Space 5D, Psychic Influence (the sample still gives me the shivers...)

Me understands. Me was trying to become the new smiley champion... :drama:

Jon, as far as I am concerned, your opinions and quality reviews and remarks are always highly appreciated, most welcome and I always read them very carefully, as you have an amazing talent to notice details and carefully break the tracks down when reviewing them... BUT these have got to be the worst grades I have ever seen you give to damn classic, bar none, old school tunes!!! I mean, Antonomasia is so intense, melodic, driving, melodic, acidic, and what not, that words do not do it justice. I don't think that any of these unreleased Crop Circles tracks, except the original of Lunar Civilization even come close to matching it!!! I own all these unreleased gems, but Antonomasia is on a completely another level... And Different Species falls in close! I mean, if any of these two tracks would have appeared on Family Of Light, the rest of that album would seem average today... I must have listened to Antonomasia 100000 times and STILL am not bored of it. IMHO, it is their finest work EVER, together with Mystical Appearance In Goa and Time Dilation. Different Species is not as good, but my God... What on earth is capable of matching Antonomasia? That melody kicking in at around 04:25... I have no comment. Human beings could not have pulled it off- it is too layered, too constructive, too massive and twisted to be hammered by a human. It must be my favorite track ever. Evargh. As 'saturn' pointed out, Different Species is faaaaaaar from the driving, intense-mania they displayed with various other tracks, but its perfect construction... Those build ups... That "they're coming!" sample... It is perfect front to back! I honestly think that, apart from Pentagone (which is IMO also a clean 10/10), Crop Circles have released their finest pieces of work on their EPs. I am convinced that not one of those unreleased tunes matched Antonomasia, Different Species, Lunar Civilization or even Full Mental Jackpot (Pleiadians remix) for what my opinion is worth... Still, Tetrahedron would be hella nice!

6 Dimension Sound They cannot go wrong. They do not know how to go wrong. They will not ever go wrong. Faerie Dragon Amazing music, amazing artists, amazing covers- it's all top notch! Suntrip Records If they keep it up, they might be the only label along with Flying Rhino whose entire catalog will I one day own. And that, as far as I am concerned, is saying a lot. + 1 runner up: Demon Tea Records!!! Tea Chairs is still on its way. I don't know what is up with croatian post offices? Can it be the summer? They are sloooooooooooow...

Even though I am not exactly the world's greatest Shakta fan, recently I gave his older albums a listen, so I'm positive this track is called Of The Essence. It can be found on Seb Taylor's 1999 album "The enlightened ape" on Dragonfly Records, and it is the fourth track. discogs link: http://www.discogs.com/release/34825 Pozdrav

Moscow is light years away... I'd better off to a Suntrip party up in the scandinavian parts... As far as Novi Sad goes, yeah, that ain't far. I could make it. For what I know, no Goasia live acts are to be held this summer in Croatia. Maybe you know more though... Maybe croatian party organizers are working behind my back? P.S.: Sorry for being such a pain in the ass, but are there any news concerning that eventual Suntrip party in like September/October, where D5 and Ra, and whoever else were to perform?

Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! :posford: I am soooooooooo excited, but I would be even more if my copy of Transdimensional wasn't on its way to my house for the past week... What the hell are they doing at the post office??? Get me my fucking CD!!!!! As for the parties, I hope that at least one of them will be anywhere near eastern Europe, as I seriously cannot afford long ass trips right now!

WOW! It seems that Astral Projection is somehow an inexhaustible subject. Well, as far as I, or my opinions are concerned, it is. And there I was, being all silly, convinced that all has been said and done about these living legends... :drama:
