I got you now lizzard-man!!! You thought you could just sneak out of psynews, unnoticed, and come back with another nick! HA! Won't work...
-
Fuck... You just had to do that, now didn't you? Get a hobby!!!

Both of these vinyl releases are still widely available, but I'm not sure about The Lone Deranger, but I am 100% positive that certain tacks on the Twisted album were slightly altered/edited, due to the vinyl release. But it should'nt be a problem tracking 'em down and buying them!

Yeah, plus I hang out on their forum as well...

Anima Mundi was a monsoon of fresh air back in 2003, man! But I really think it lacks the originality and those "Wow, that was sooooooo raw" moments, and the melodies Khetzal composed are, always IMHO, light years ahead of Ethereal's! Not to mention that Khetzal is much more versatile- from amazing ambient tunes, to eastern influenced "spiritual" tracks, to 160BPM dance floor killers- he's got it all- on a single album. I bow my ahead. Again.

Sounds familiar. No shit, rino...

Not that we didn't agree before- it was a matter of calling people idiots 'cause they didn't agree with you... This albums is getting all the props it deserves- I made it official with this "groupie" thread! Really, I actually think it sold well too...? NP: Khetzal- indian attic That melody kicking in @ around 05:10 makes this album worth every cent I got!!!

Ain't he from Zagreb? Or am I just hallucinegating?

Yet not insane.

Two nights ago I accidentaly popped this one into my CD ROM drive while I was just spendin' some free time on my computer... I think the best way to describe this one is less is more. And that is in no way bad, as this has to be one of the most mellow and dreamy albums I own! I cannot say I am crazy about all the tracks, but what I can say is that I seem to appreciate the exact same tracks as most other reviewers: the classic opener One Love, the beautifully crafted and acidic Out Of Time, the more uptempo -with an amazing melody kicking in at 02:27- Orange Night, and the gorgeous Electronic Pulsation! The first two track must be my favs here, though- the melodies Boris rips on 'em are THE catchy old school melodies, and if dreamy, repetitive, space age goa trance is your thing, then go no further! Electronic Pulsation jogs along closely as my third pick here, with an equally catchy (but darn simple ) melody to envelop my mind... Amazing stuff! Far from the more psychedelic sound of for example the T.I.P. Records crew, this is more toned down, not as agressive or "mad", if I may, but rather focusing on making mind drifting and floating atmospheres! As much as the above mentioned tracks leave me impressed, other numbers such as Galaxia, Equilibrio and Virtual Landscape don't do much for me... And I find Nexus an average piece of ambient music, while Visiting Venus occupies the other side of the pole, and stands as one of Electric Universe'e finest downtempo works yet! So, to sum it all up- there are no bad tracks here, and the good ones are so good that they make this one more or less a safe purchase! Especially for Electric Universe fans. The tracks I don't really dig kind of break the album's otherwise wonderful flow in my ears, but when a track like Out Of Time kicks in, I could care less!!! Though I find his Paradise Connection album better, as far as Blenn's albums under the Electric Universe name go, it hardly gets better than this! I'd give it an 8/10!

No, I did not click it! I'm around 24 hours ahead, I've been stupified for quite some time now! And I like it! Amazing track- hope this guy one day emerges as a well respected and prolific producer... Should check out his other track though, before rushing to any conclusions!

Kalikaye Namah (goa,150bpm kick ass track* bhoom*)
rino replied to Kalki's topic in Free Music Promotion
Whoa mate- that flute line is catchy! Yes sir, catchy and then some. Too bad that everything else pales when compared to its effect, IMO. Do not be discouraged, though! I like this track a lot. Even those sections where there is no flute, you placed some pretty sinister and twisted effects, but you didn't overdo it, as most darkish producers tend to... It is dark, it's menacing, but it stays on the groovy side just enough so that a non dark psy fan can thoroughly enjoy it. I can see this one easily getting some spin time during nigh time forest sets... Great job! -
I mean "NO" as in that's just bad luck... Having such a nice 12" and nowhere to play it... The only thing I can say N-O-! Bac to the rare tracks, just as I posted above, I would ADORE to hear some unreleased D5, Cosmosis and Astral Projection stuff, if such exists! EDIT EDIT EDIT: And a project, if y'all remember, called Subcouds!!! They made so few tracks, and they are, IMHO, all awesome!

Never heard of that "story", but the only version of TIP's Time & Space is the one I have on the Dragonfly Classix (2xCD) (1998). And it's a good track, not one of their better works, but very nicey nice!
-
That's more like it. Stuff I've never heard of before. Blasphemous girl. I will cast an evil spell on you! If I only knew to rip vinyl tracks... But you gotta admit, she's gotta point though... Has anybody ever heard of or spoke about, for example, unreleased Cosmosis, Dimension 5 or Astral Projection material? They are some of my favorite projects, but it seems like everything they ever produced actually made it to a proper CD release... Hard to believe though!

Aaaaaw, everything you wrote is just marvellous news... Quantity over quality... I know he runs the Avigmatic Reocrds, I bought an ambient compilation last year, I think it was V.A. Positive Alchemists vol. 2, but it left me yearning for more. Argh, it would be nice to hear the "original" Trancefuzion though! Now you left me super curious and jelaous! And oh god, I can only imagine other tracks like Trancefuzion getting published and produced... Gosh those beautiful melodies combined with some more uplifting and pumping beats. Sounds amazing. What leaves me dissatisfied is the fact that I'll have to wait... :ranting: Oh well, I still have the whole Corolle to learn by heart!!!

artha - live set at aquatica party in poland - 02.05.2007 [goa-trance]
rino replied to artha's topic in Free Music Promotion
After all the massive praise your live got, I downloaded and listened to it as well. What can I say that hasn't already been said? Excellent music, man. In fact, it's good enough that I'd even take into serious consideration going to one of the next parties where you'll be playing. Keep up the marvellous work! -
The ones I deleted I own- the last bunch was available as a legal MP3 release some years ago... The ones left, I still haven't had the honor! I think you'd be surprised about his post reger... The vinyl you listed I own, and the tracks I left here, I have never heard of, I think... And by the way, the thing about my sis was a joke- she's all into the Beatles, The Doors, Clash 'n' stuff... Where is mars? Come here, and quickly share that one with us!!!

Yeah, two years have passed since the man dropped his beautiful Corolle debut album... Those amazing violin :drama: sounds throughout the album send shivers down my spine whenever I put it on... Front to back- it is my favorite Suntrip release thus far, and the way things are looking (or sounding), it is very likely it will remain so! BUT, all we got are two tracks in the last two years: the mesmerizing Chips Tree from last year's astonishing V.A. Peace Therapy vol. 2, and this year's dance floor killer Trancefuzion, which saw mr. Chamoux pushing the envelope, from V.A. Twist Dreams! I guess that with this guy it's pure quality music you get, rather than quantity, which is actually a good thing. But I like his music soooooo much that I just need more. I want more... To somebody who might be better informed: when is another album due? GOOOOOOOOOOO Khetzal!!! :clapping:

Why you wanna know??? Joking, interesting thread, but I think it should be broadened beyond the usual Tetrahedron and shit discussions, as those reappear every two months... Those Crop Circles "killers" can hardly be considered rare any longer My f***ing sister already has 'em! Man I dunno, but I heard Hux Flux has some spectacular unreleased material from their heyday! I have no idea whether it is true or not, but they would be tracks coming from some bootleg 2xCD that I've heard exists, but I've never listened to it! P.S.: now that visine mentioned it, I once heard (or read) that there is an enormous live version of Pleiadians' Modulation floating around, but I have never ever come across anybody who actually heard it. Coming to my point, I am actually very curious: is there anybody who can confirm or deny that?

What music are you listening to right now?
rino replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
Soft Cell- tainted love -
IMHO, not one single vinyls from your list qualifies as a rarity... I am not saying that they are bad, but you can find each and every one of these vinyls for 10 euros max. And I really mean MAX!!! The exception might be The Antidote- Sunrise/Walk On The Moon 12", as it's pretty old, and well, it's from T.I.P. Records, so you might even be able to sell it for a little more.
