rino replied to artifact303's topic in Free Music Promotion
After reading so many praises, I decided to give this one a listen, and all I can say is wow!!! This really is something, man. Keep up the excellent work, absolutely nothing more to add! -
Does that mean reger sees himslef as a one man ethnic tribe coming from the seven star open cluster in the constellation of Taurus?

I don't understand this thread.

Nemo: I spent "countless hours" in deep contemplation after reading this term in that other thread... Interesting reading the definition, though...

Hm, a nice track- yes. An exceptional work- no. Why I am not into production, and cannot give you any constructive comments on how to produce or enhance your music, as a listener, this track comes off as plain in my ears... It's good, yeah, but there are certain sections where not much happens, and that would be usually OK, if the sounds and melodies during those sections were catchier and more memorable, in order to let me "float" or just peacefully drift away... Get my point? The kick is ever present, and it tends to lead the track way too much- it just stands out more than it should, IMO! There is no real evolution throughout the track. It tends to end the same way it started out. Now, if you wanted it to sound like that, to make out one, single continous trip, without too many breaks and climaxes- that is very fine with me, BUT you should then apply more effects, and make 'em more evident, maybe a modulation here and there- just to give the track some twist or surprise turn. What you've done could have worked back in 1995, but in 2007, it comes off as overly simple... Do not get wrong, I am not asking for a Filteria type track here, but if you want to hear some quality goa tracks from producers that successfully made tracks without any over-the-top explosions, but still making them really dreamy and stuff, check out some of those Ypsilon 5 or Goasia tracks...

What isn't?

Like your mate said, this is some no-holds-barrel off the chain night time trance!!! Nothing for the faint harted- it's pulsating, dark, gritty and evil. For those of you who like it evil and hard as fuck- don't waste your time, just download and listen. If you played this at around 3 in the morning, and I was drunk, I guess I'd be the one acting all Air Jordanish and stuff, but otherwise, this is not my cup of tea. The first track, Searching For Burek, is the better of the two, but it is really hard for me to say why, as unfortunately, most of this dark stuff sounds all too samey to me... Anyways, for those who are into this- I recommend you give it a try. And you might even get nicely surprised!

Nope. I'll give it another shot later. It's one of those "the page cannot be found" fucked up situations. Oh well...

I have to download this EP just for this track title... Amazing!!! BUT I have trouble downloading this... Doesn't work!

I'll tell you what seems like the only reasonable answer: there is no general and objective price for these CDs! The price you offer should reflect how much you value or like a CD, regardless of how wanted or rare it may be! I will give you an example: While The Delta freaks (and there are many out there ) would probably offer quite a lot for Scizoeffective, I for example, not being too fond of that project, wouldn't offer enough to satisfy virtually any potential seller... Get my point? And if you were buying any of these CDs, I would apply the same reasoning: there is no objective money's worth for any of these CDs, just how much and how badly do you want them, and how much cash would you be willing to pay to get your hands on those albums! I know it's not what you were looking for, but that is how I see it... I really hope I helped out!

What I mean is that for someone like me, who has 500 euros a month (and that is considered a decent living in Croatia), paying 120$ for a single CD is unintelligible... I saw, just like you did, that it went for 380$, and all I'm trying to say is that from my viewpoint, that is something I just won't be able to do in like... whoooa!!! And I am not surprised it got sold so qickly, as it is highly sought after! Just my 2 cents. I can buy 8-9 brand new album for 120 bucks, so why venture into buying an old and used one?
-
You know why I prefer beatspace? 'Cause Italy borders Croatia, so the shipping prices are ridiculoulsy low and it the CDs get shipped to my "crib" in no time, and Fabio has become like my house hold music distributor! So, yeah, yo, beatspace is #1 fo' me!!!
-
Mine came in the typical black case, but I bought a used copy years back... Sorry Goa-Head, 120 bucks is a rip off, but that is nothing new for e-bay... 120$ for a CD is not even funny any longer, it's just plain redundant. Yeah, why am I not surprised...
-
LOL for the price, good thing I have it already...
-
Big time- it is by far my favorite place to shop for music. Plus it's very near Croatia, so I get music ASAP with no sweat whatsoever. Highly recommended, yo!!!

Even though quite a few people critized Heliopolis, I personally find it to have some of Filteria's most mature tracks up to date. While overall, I like Sky Input more, tracks like Unfiltered (moon remix) and Reflected are soooooo nicely constructed and have really cool sounds and well developed and emphasized melodies, plus Reflected has a surprise turn, with what is IMO one of the nicest modulations my ears have ever come across! Y'all are in for a ride... And what a ride will it be- enjoy!!!
-
As long as it will function and run smoothly afterwards, I don't mind waiting 48 hours, or even more for that matter! Good luck witit mars, I'll keep my fingers crossed!
-
+1 And how about ETNICA- FULL ON An underrated classic, no doubt! For starters, you just made me play the whole Fusion album on repeat... Amazing!!!
-
I FINALLY got a brand new and unsealed copy of Chi A.D.'s Infinitism album!!! What a bargain this psyhoe dude is!!! He made me a deal I just couldn't refuse- amazing price, the music arrived in extra mind condition (not even the CD cases were cracked, which is a miracle, if you're familiar with croatian post office employees )... psyhoe is highly recommended: 10/10

A nice package came in from Chrisitan today! He is a nice, friendly, communicative user. What more do you want? Highly recommended! The music comes in an excellent package, and in excellent shape too

seraph... I could not care less less whether or not they sold out. In my humble opinion they sucked back then. They still do now. And the way things are going, they'll suck ten years from today.
