  1. Nice. For sure I'll give it a listen. After all, it has really been a while since I last listened to ManMadeMan... Kinda curious what they sound like nowadays.

    Khetzal - Corolle

This same moment I'm writting this, Khetzal's "Corolle" is blasting out of my speakers... And I am delighted with what it has to offer. More than ever... This is my favorite Suntrip Records release so far by some distance because I find it to be both highly creative and original, while recapturing the vibes and the feelings of the past without sounding "trying to hard" to be old school! The flow of the album is perfect, the tracks are spotlessly incorporated into each other, giving the album a superb and continuos flow, I would dare say in the same vein as Jaia's "Blue energy"! The album starts on the down tempoish side, taking time to really expose all it has to offer, and it really comes to life during its mid section, and then slowly taking a dive back into some ambient waters... Wonderful stuff here! A few albums in my collection work so smoothly for home listening, while simultaneously having the potential to move the most demanding crowd around. There isn't a single dull second on the whole album, but need I pick a standout track, IMO it would be Indian Attic, which has a superb climax!!! The melody that flies in after a pretty long build up is nothing short of a miracle, pure morning goa trance bliss!!! And the following track, Djaningar, is also simply put beautiful- packed with eastern influenced melodies floating so smoothly all over the place... There are even more upbeat dancefloor burners like Bells Of Sarnath and Ganesha Pramana, especially the latter, which literary explodes after some elefant sample is heard... The layers, the sounds, the melodies- there is enough of them to break this one up and create three stompers. But here this guy arranges it flawlessly in one single track. Don't get confused and think these are some ordinary dance tracks, though. Each and every track here is top notch emotion, making your heart bleed melodies are impossible not to notice! And once again I have to go back to Jaia's mesmerizing debut, as "Corolle" in my ears stands as potentially the only other album which so immaculately blends dance floor orinetated music with really emotional ambientesque tunes... I mean, when the BPM rate of these track starts to decrease towards the end of the album, I seriously doubt you'll be revolting, as this guy does it with so much confidence and sheer skill! Speaking of arrangements, Matthieu Chamoux does not miss a single beat. From old school goa trance melodies to live instruments (and the violins he uses deserve a special mention here), from ancient eastern influences to modern production tricks and techniques, it's all here. This is one album that should satisfy grumpy old nostalgic trancers and newcomers alike! From me, this album already gets a firm 9/10, but only time will tell its true value and give it the well deserved "classic" sticker! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
  3. How about copy-pasting antic's latest package minus the Juno Reactor CD maxis?
  4. Wow, thankx antic!!! Nice you found out about this guy, though. And yes sir, thank you for the tip! Thanx a bunch!
  5. 1. I could usually give a fuck about underground experiences if I cannot take a proper leak and wash my hands afterwards. Damn cheap organizers... 2. It was love at first sight between you and Avi... 3. No, seriously, glad you had a fun time. I agree that A.P. can still rock any place if they play an old schoolish live act, as the new stuff just annoys me. The crowd goes bollocks any time these two drop an ol' favorite!
  6. Pretty instructive and entertaining to say the least. You've done a fine job digging through the crates, Reznik!
  7. 1. I retracted what I said, and therefore corrected myself. Not even can I and neither can anybody else be 100% sure. 2. Spot on. And it actually took us around 5 posts each to draw that conclusion. Laters...
  8. I quoted myself so you can clearly see that I have NEVER wrote a single word against that specific remix, I only said that I think remixes usually fail when compared to the original. So the 0 points I gave would apply to that one as well. And no, the fact that 8000 users do not share my opinion does not impress me. I don't mind being in the minority section, if that is where my taste leaves me. It's OK, I don't take things personal when other users calmly write everything down, like in your case. I know about the Etnica guys thing, but that was not my point. My point was: if a track is officially unreleased, like the two Etnica/Pleiadians tracks we're mentioning here, when those same tracks leak on the market or the internet, can anybody be 100% sure if they are remixes, alternate versions or just demo tracks? And I do not know for sure for Time Dilation, and the same would most probably go for Vimana. Don't judge people by their age, for it really restricts your appreciation of foreign experinces and understanding. Man, if you gonna judge me by a Deedrah remix, what can I tell you, yo???
  9. I don't mind being off topic... if it pisses off the mods, they'll delete the posts. Not that I feel like opening a new topic... I don't need any valid excuse. I say it's an alternate version, you say it's a proper remix. And that's it. As the A.P. thing, I don't care what it is, I have it properly stamped on the vinyl, don't feel like being a nerd and looking what's written on it... Hey, and what's wrong with my age? I'd hate being a day older or younger. I don't even think of those cheap and immature date of birth issues... Like anybody gives a damn about my age anyways... And what makes me believe that the Vimana version on the latest Pleiadians CD is a remix? Well, the writting on the back cover for starters... But danm, since the other version of Vimana is unreleased, and therefore appeared nowhere as a proper tune, I reckon nobody except the Etnica themselves can say if it's a proper remix or no... Same goes for the other version of Time Dilation. I refer to it (others too) as the Etnica remix of a Pleiadians track, but being an unreleased track, can anybody be 100% percent sure it is a remix, or just an alternate version of the same track. Add it all up now, tell me what does any of this got to do with people's ages and opinions on old school issues, and I'm happy.
  10. 1. Thank whoever you usually thank on occasions like this on that fact. Doesn't it piss you off when people passively go like: "You are so right" or "I am totally with you" or "You're 100% right" and other character absent comments? 2. It's impolite to draw conclusions about people and their tastes knowing their age and nothing more, be it ironic or not. Tastes are not debatable, you don't have to be over...hm, 8 to know that... 3. My all time favorite MC, Ras Kass said that in one of his verses way back in 1996... I can't remember the song's name right now, but like 99% of his memorable quotes, this one is as true as it can be! I just remembered another track, which same as Etnica's Vimana is not a remix, but an alternate version of the track by its original producers, and it's....: Astral Projection- flying into a star (ast-roid mix) and yes, this version kicks some psychedelic ass!!!
  11. I have nothing but kind words to comment these guys recent output, be it visual or audiable. Cross that. Not recent, for as long as I can remember their music and everything related to their name sucked in my ears and eyes. OK, not for that long, but the post millenium I.M. is something I'd rather not waste my vital energy on. And I wanna spare other users from reading pure hatred. And I wanna give my grey matter a rest, not tiring it with the invention of new disses. By now you must have gotten it: I am one of those people to who you will have to give a serious beating in order for them to admit that these two so called producers have ANY talent whatsoever. And what the hell is it with these stupid images? What the fuck are all the synthesizers and computers for if all these guys have been using recently are guitars, tambourines and gypsy orchestras? Tha fuck do they use 'em for? Reproducing the Power Rangers theme? Or maybe searching for "scary" samples about medieval knights, dragons or princesses... Wait! I like the microphone one- where I see the greatest impersonation of a gangsta rapper wreckin' the house. Or tearing the roof off. Or trail blazin'. Whatever- the white towel and the "mic high up in the hand" are in tact... And the one with the vacuum cleaner is just so allegoric. Or metaphoric is more appropriate. Where the vacuum cleaner stands for this wonderful trance music scene which should mercilessly suck in, chew & swallow, recycle, fuck over and spit out these two gentlemen. And before they drop their newest album, if possible. Shit, and the "doctor" posing with their keyboards... Who the fuck can get impressed by pictures like that anymore? Come on, I mean I have photos from Eat Static from like back when, wearing those dust coates and stuff, but this... Is just redundant, as much as their music. Actually, why all the bitching? These pictures do the music justice- they are not by any means better or worse than their releases. Thinking about it, I prefer staring at these "We're Infected Mushroom, we're so cool" macho photos, rather than hearing their music, and even worse, awful singing and the worst guitar riffs to ever appear on trance records.
  12. Not great IMO, but compared to the original, my dog's barking on a rainy and cloudy day sounds great... But it's a solid and successful attempt to drag the original out of the tomb!
  13. Nice one, even though I think the original is still better. Another good remix I remembered is the California Sunshine remix of Killing Joke's Black Moon. It is also my all time favorite track from the israeli duo.
  14. Damn you, Rezwalker... you got me with these two right here . Also I don't consider the live mix of Rezwalker a "proper" remix, I see it more as a live mix of an already existing track. In the same vein as Technossomy's Samsara live mix of Elektron Bender... As for the unreleased mix of Vimana, to really be honest, I prefer it stayed unreleased, as it really cannot even rub shoulders with the "Plastic EP" version. But it's still not a remix, it is an alternate version... But the X-Dream take on E-Rection's tune is one of my all time fav's! Can't believe I missed it!
  15. Wow, if this isn't amazing news, then I don't know what is... Actually I do- the topic you guys dropped in the Label Announcements section is ! Anyways, looking forward to these collaborations, and especially their project with Merr0w, as his track on "Twist dreams" blew me awaaaaay!!! P.S.: please do hunt the Ypsilon man down. I want more.
  16. Yeah, this is one hell of a release! My second fave after Khetzal's "Corolle", and it's indeed mr. Matthieu Chamoux who brings my top tune here, Trancefuzion. It has it all: the eastern influences are here, a great dance floor friendly beat and a superb melody. Everythin I expected from this guy and then some. Talpa, who's debut didn't fascinate me, delivers a marvellous track with some wicked violin effects which blow me away every time. Actually I haven't got any deeper into this track, but I still don't want to- this is some amazing clash between live instrumentation and off the chain psy trance! Red Gravity and Merrow deliver two stomping goa trance tunes, especially the latter with Utopian Society which is sooooo massive, melody packed, uplifting, constantly increasing in energy and bursting with positive vibes- a stentorian track! And Red Gravity shows that his contribution to Filteria's Speech Module was no fluke, because bringing some beautiful old school flavored music is obviously the name of the game this man excells in. I was already familiar with Afgin from his wonderul promo album and his track the "Pyramidal Trancedence" compilation, and here he continues in the same vein. "Dimensional" is a morning trance tune you imagined in your dream. Melodic, happy and positive. Just listen and dance your arse off. Cosmis Silence and Aerosis each deliver dance floor gravy, especially Aerosis, which makes me think of Ethereal, thus you can imagine the impact this will create on them crazy dancers! And Cosmic Silence's Psy Spirit sets the mood for the rest of this spectacular journey. Listening to Ra's track it's like he's never left, and no, I can't stand waiting for his new album to drop. And K.O.B., what to say...? Filteria's new project leaves me in the same state of awe as his "Sky input" album. Or not? This might even be a lil' more impressive as it tends not to recreate so blindly the maximally full on Pleiadians sound. A great tune, and I can only hope that a full album sounding this great is possible. But hell, I wouldn't expect nuthin' less from Jannis! All in all a great, wall to wall compilation, which will more than likely suffice until the suntrippers drop their next jewel. Enjoy and get your copy as quick as you can, for I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes a sought after collector's item ten years from now! Once again, great job Suntrip Records!
  17. 0 points from me on the remixes you listed, but I really like the Pleiadians remix of Crop Circles, and IMO, but only IMHO that is the only remix, which along with quite a few of Man With No Name's remixes successfully recaptured some of the original's magic and power. But once again, that is just me! But I was never that much into remixes, for the reason I wrote above: they can never impress me as much as the original, so I find them disappointments usually. Oh yeah, Blue Planet Corporation's remix of Wizzy Noise's Timeline is a special one too. Seeing that we're speaking about the Wizzy boys...
  18. I gotta come straight and say that I'm not too hyped about hearing this, and the same goes for virtually all the other remixes from their forthcoming album... But that is just me, I could be proved wrong though. Not that it hasn't happened before, but these remix releases have never done much for me...
  19. Does anybody by any chance know what is up with these guys? I understand that they might have had some trouble or that they've been busy, but that's kind of contradictory having read their last post which is actually over 12 months old... Furthermore, Ethereal had a track on Metapsychic Records compilation last year, and I read on some other forum (I think it was at least...) that they're real busy with their lives lately so they can't focues on music making too much. OK, quite fair and understandable, but where is Ypsilon 5? I really enjoyed his album. Let alone Ethereal's... And I really was looking forward to some new releases, but the way things started to go, will there even be any? But still, I can understand, but according to their website, this compilation is finished, was already supposed to be mastered, the cover art is ready, the whole tracklist is here, and it's been talked about all over the place, but now that the hype is gone, it seems like the world has swallowed the whole Tranceform crew... Is there anybody out there who can kindly update me?!?
  20. Same here, but I've never been to London, so I have absolutely where this Coldharbour Lane might be. I guess I'll have to snatch one of those city maps any day now...
  21. These two I've been trying to hunt down for some time now, especially the first one as my copy not only shows some wear, but skips... . A few years back after having one two many drinks we played frisbee with it. Yeah, it sounds ultra stupid, but unfortunately it's ultra true as well... Excellent package though!
  22. Grrrr, antic, didn't you see the smiley attached to my post...? It was not suppose to offend you man. I think you will understand why I wrote that when you check where I'm from. From what I've heard Croatia and Poland are not that different, speaking of an average salary 'n' stuff. Damn, I only wish I had 400GBP disposable for spending on music... Hell, all my monthly bills, taxes plus food expanses cost less! So yeah, every single CD I have goes as a special item in my notebook...
  23. Wow, this looks like a post my frustrated twin brother would have written if I ever had one... I'm not going to complain, but I'm with abasio 100%. The price for "Transdimensional" elevates terms like pathetic and nonsense to new levels of vocabulary existance. It blows the whole concept of human sense out of the frame. But on the other hand, I don't think sellers could give a fuck where I'm from and what can I afford to spend for a CD. See, that is just business: you can't compete, you get fucked over and you're out... There we go- this sounds like the phrase I wanted to write, but couldn't come up with it.
  24. Damn, Nemo, I just gave it a read, and it's a fun one, as some have already pointed out. Very nice to see your viewpoints, some I agree with and some I don't, but it's not like you wrote it for everyone to agree with you. Well, anyways, music wise, you seem like one of those who can really go around with the "been there done that" philosophy". Oh yeah, since everybody had their lil' comments, where are Solar Quest and The Pump Panel ? I cannot imagine acid without The Pump Panel's take on New Order's Confusion or the massive acidic monster Acid Air Raid by S. Quest... But you made me dig out some of those old Sven Vath releases for sure, man! Let alone Hardfloor's remix of Circus Bells and Yves Deruyter's Calling Earth!
