Ummm, I am pleasantly surprised by this album. Yakov Biton gathered very good musicians for this very good dark psychedelic album. As people say, it has deep bass line, and tracks do sound a little bit the same but it is good nevertheless cause it is doing its purpose, it puts you in trance. My favourites : RESISTANCE IS FUTILE, PSYKOV MEGALITHIC, CROW, GHOST BUSTER, GROUNDED....7.5/10

Finally I am able to review it since I couldn't after they closed reviews section and I didn't have it before, found it a year ago and now I can finally say here how stunning this compilation is. This is old school psychadelia at its best, where we also have different artists doing similar style, but so differently and passionately. M.O.S. track SPRING starts and it immediatly starts with the kick and nice goa melodies in their early output, before they went minimal. This is good morning track, made for home listening. MANMADEMAN track TRANSIVA which he made with Andy Guthrie is another psychedelic gem, so psychedelic and rolling, with amazing 303's everywhere. Typical 1997-8 style, tasty ! S.E.T.I. PROJECT in theirs psychedelic output are also kicking. This one is even more psychedelic and I imagine that it was good on the parties. LIQUID LUNAR track HYDROPHOBICS continues in 303 madness as previous tracks and it also delivers good ride from start to end. It is very fast and so heavily psychedelic, really good, reminds me a bit on Cosmosis with those cosmic melodies. S.E.T.I. & DREAMDEALER also made funky psychedelia, loads of efefcts, twitching arrangements and insane melodies. Very good track alsobut not my favourite. M.O.S. track VOLTKRAFT is another goodie by them...it has some eastern melodies and pretty hard kick and good vibes alltogether. CHRIS ORGANIC made a track with Jerry Parsons TELEKINETIC and this is the most fun track on compilation, so positive, euphorical and energetic, I like it so much, it is typical british funny psy style, stunning track... LITTLE GREEN MEN finishes the compilation with HALAL ( Shamanic Rmx ) and it is pure goa trance with amazing melodies and atmospheres, great for finishing such good compilation. All in all, very good, juicy psychedelia from the best period for psychedelic trance, good for everyone's collection...9/10

Amazing album ! Bypass Unit guys in their other project COLORBOX and here they went entirely into goa trance. Whole album has a concept and it is beside using similar sounds and structures pretty varied. I like their concept and the best tracks are : CYANid, GREENIOUS ( ! ), KINKY PINKY ( ! ), INDIGO, GREY SPOOK, MAROON...9/10

This is such strange compilation of many great goa tracks and some rather mediocre pretentious and silly psy attempts. I like this french psychedelic trance, it is highly melodic with many oriental melodies and harmonies and good spacey effects. CD 1 has stunning tracks : THE PLATFORM, LADY NEUTRON, SULPHUR SPRING, INTRIGUE ( ! ), DAY OF THE DEAD NIGHT, LUMBUMBASHI...CD 2 contains some trash but the good ones are : COLOR OF MY DREAM, DAISHONIN ( ! ), ASYMPTOTE ( ! ), CTHUGHA, TRAIA, AURA GENOVA...8/10

Welcome to the weird world of goa trance...this how this compilation sounds like...this short compilation is filled with weird psy classics : ANT INVASION, FREAK, LAUGHING GAS, NOOS-LEAP, SPAWN, OSCULTATION and some pretty spiritual goa stuff : OCCIDENTAL SADHU, PORTNAWACK, UNTITLED...All in all, very good compilation of old school goodies...8/10

This is good Asia 2001 album. It is his most psychedelic one as the title suggests...Martin Cooper makes pretty solid psy goa trance and even many people dislike it for being over melodic, I like it cause it is done with the spirit...Best tracks : ORION RMX, KALIMBA, REPLICANTS, REYKYAVIK, FLIRT FILTER...7.5/10

Stunning album ! I think it is their most concrete goa trance album, DROPZ OF OBSCURE ECLIPSES is more hard and energetic but this one is more spiritual. Their first album ON A TRANCE MISSION is more simple and this one in the middle is just the way it should be. My favourite tracks : PHASER GALAXY, GREEN DREAMS, WEIRD MONKEY, HELIUM, SHANTI, HIGHER SPIRITUALITY, CRUISER...8/10

Stunning album ! Der Dritte Raum's second album and it immediately put them in a trance hall of fame. It is mellow and smooth album with unique style and structure only Krueger can make. I like all tarcks but the best ones are : WELLENBAD, RAUPE, ALIENOID, TROMMELMACHINE, GEISTER, NARKOSE, WIND...9/10

Trippy as hell ! Blue Room at its finest...another colelction of truly psychedelic tracks, with many classics : ASTRAL WAY ( ! ), SCREAMING DARKNESS ( ! ), NO, STRATOSFEAR, SPACE CLINIC, ROTORBLADE, NEW AURA ( ! )...9/10

This is it ! The very beginning of whole scene at their creative peaks creating perfect ambient and trance soundscapes for the benefit of everyone's minds and spirits. This series start with this very compilation and it is stunning concept of whole series, combining earth matters with good sonic production making great electronic excursions. I won't get into the tracks, all I can say that both discs are filled with most quality tracks from both ambient and trance genres. Trance disc has one of the greatest classics : SPIKE, FEEL THE UNIVERSE, SOUNDBEAMS, LELOTUS BLEU, WIZRAD'S BREW, ODYSSEY OF THE MIND, DERVISH and ambient disc is like one long journey...10/10

I say that these aussies are masters of primal trance, they are creating somewhat very weird psychedelic soundscapes and this album is their ultimate weirdness. I recommend this album for all weirdo psy freaks cause this is how all that weirdness began. NIGEB is slow and very hypnotic sickness; very tense ambient trance track, very good ! very good beginning of a very strange album. TECHNIQUE I FOLLOW is faster and energetic but it lacks something for me...too minimal and for me the weakest one on the album. OHAR is very tribal psychedelic piece, with goa melodies, very nice structure, I like it, it is fun track. NYAH is another experimental psychedelic song and it is slower and also hypnotic, nice track but nothing more than that. HK/HT is more in early X-Dream style according to my ears cause of that repetitive bass line that just goes and this is the longest track, has some morning feel, pretty nice. Also kind of goa trance but less intense. GO! PEOPLE is so strange and psychedelic, liquid and deranging. One of my favourites here as well...it reminds me on early TIP records production, that kind of goa. S.W.M. is another goa track, my favourite here probably, it has bunch of 303 lines merging with hypno beats and enchanting melodies. It so much reminds me on BOTFB but this was way before them, but it is in the same weird forest goa style. Yummy ! I say this is pretty good album for when it's made. This is the essence of old school, people and that's how it should be appreciated and even though it wouldn't be for everyone, I say give it a try if you are old school lover. 7.5/10

Ummm, the album is not that bad but it is nothing comparing to the old Darshan, it is more on the progressed side which is not bad but this album is SO strange...well, hear it for yourself...

I also think that their first 4 albums are pure perfection and will never lose the touch with them, they are true classics of the genre and will always stay like that, however I did get tired with Amen apart of course of stunning Nexus and Electric Blue and everything they made after that was not even remotely close to any of their previous works and I don't agree of them sounding the same all the time as someone said. They have been listening too much to that crap and decided to make this new nonsense but after I saw them live just recently I have lost all hopes cause new stuff sounded just plain and generic without any magic they previously had. I am sorry to say this guys but they've lost it.
