It's Sandman's first album, so it's of course worth getting, especially if there is new, twisted track included...

Well, maybe it's their vision of Spiritual Healing and it should be seen as such...

Yup, expected from this side as well...

Non Psy tunes that should be played at psy parties

Oh yes, that is perfect track ! Those acid lines could be brilliantly arranged with any trance song... -
Pioneers of Trance ? Huuuh, there are so many of them. I say that germans RULE with pioneers, they are true founders of ELECTROnic genre and set the standards with swedes with equipment on which they experiemented and practiced most, they developed trance style from old school ambient psychedelia. I think that TANGERINE DREAM, no matter the ambient music they made were first, true pioneers of trance states in Germany. Their soundscapes were truly cosmic and psychedelic and they were first ones that haven't made conservative electronic music back then despite Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk and Jean Michel Jarre. But, from modern master minds I can mention : Sven Vath Ralf Hildenbeutel Stevie Be Zet Oliver Lieb Pete Namlook A.C. Bousten Pascal F.E.O.S. Jochem Paap Oliver Bondzio Ramon Zenker Gerald Becker Roman Flügel Jörn Elling Wuttke Andreas Krüger Bill Leeb Rhys Fulber Those are old school trance and techno producers but if we speak of pioneers of psychedelic and goa trance next names should be mentioned : Boris Blenn Gabriel Masurel Frederick Holyszewski Christophe Drouillet Martin Freeland Joti Sidhu Dino Psaras Merv Pepler Simon Posford Serge Souque Nick Barber Avi Nissim Lior Perlmutter Avi Algranati Ofer Dikovsky Har El Pruskky Rami Shapira Tsyoshi Suzuki Carlo Patterno Andrea Rizzo Maurizio Begotti Miranda Silvergreen Paul Jackson Benji Vaughan Ben Watkins Graham Wood Ian Ion Frank'E The lists are endless, there are many pioneers that build this scene...

I think that this year is pretty nice by now, okay, I absolutely miss still some psy and goa sounds but that is all covered with many good progressive and ambient releases. At least scene started moving somewhere from this year. Back in 03 and 04 I though that it turned too generic and boring in fact, despite many good releases from both years, but this year some mild psychadelia is returned and producers started experimenting again and moved from generic patterns to more freestyle ones. I thought at first that this year will be psy come back, but it is not, but in fact it doesn't matter cause there is SO MUCH music to discover in any case. I am doing my best in finding as much of old school releases in many electronic genres so it really doesn't matter if it is going somewhere right now cause every quality music suffers from changes, only boring, mainstream crap stays the same. My million pounds.

Heh, ever since I discovered about that compilation I was wondering why they haven't made more collaborations back then, but even then there was numerous collaborations between the best ones so it really doesn't matter cause there is plenty to dig. You have 2 similar compilations with similar collaborations and music, with pure psychedelic goa trance from 1994 and 1995... DIGITAL ALCHEMY ( 1994 ) 1. Man With No Name - Voices 2. Voodoo People - Syn System 3. Ayahuasca - Ayahuascan Chant 4. Man With No Name - Deliverance 5. Ayahuasca - Heliotropic Twist 6. Us - Storm 7. Man With No Name - The Far Side 8. Ayahuasca - Psychopharm 9. Man With No Name - Sugar Rush 10. Man With No Name - Evolution 11. Voodoo People - Co-Incidence 12. Ayahuasca - Propella Fantastic compilation ! Old school all the way and similar style to Arcturus... TRIBAL SCIENCE ( 1995 ) 1. Universal Sound - Asteroids 2. Man With No Name - Silicon Trip 3. The Infinity Project - Squidgy Atomica 4. Psychaos - Psychaos 5. Universal Sound - Charged 6. Prana - Fiesta 7. Cydonia - Animals 8. The Infinity Project - Ego Shredder 9. Man With No Name - Adrenosphere 10. Psychaos - Perpceptions Of Reality 11. Space Tribe - Flipout The Dolphin ( Voodoo Edit ) Second volume that is even better than the first one, check for sure ! If you want more, ask...

I don't mind this remix at all....It surely doesn't sound like original, nor it should have, I like it as it is...Darshan are great and this remix as Rain said shouldn't be heard as remix of a track, but as completely different track.

It is all good nemo, I like your moderating, nevermind the critics, you are doing good job...better clean this place before you go, we deserved it !
-
I like their first two albums, last one was rather lame...but their previous style was so crystal and to the point...They were great, but not anymore...

It's worth going for these only, which is not bad, but they could have put more psy and minimal instead of so much full on, but at least, there are enough of progressive and some psy acts to actually be there for a reason, not only for Eclipse. -

I hope they were the IN CROWD... Finishing with original of Rhythm Is A Dancer ? Ummm, can I say that it was rather cheesy attempt ? -
Ummmm, yeah, as reaction to your own arrogant attitude too...
-
Yeah, YOU give ME some suggestions, please...little crazy...
-
Don't project your own mediocre brain on 4 brains that controlled the entranced mass back then. You have very LAME ears, we already discovered that, you don't have to assure us non stop...
-
I already asked him questions I wanted when he was sitting at my place, smoking some hash... He is rather egocentric and not being guru at all, it is just a mask...sorry to disappoint you guys...
-
Never heard of that 'GEM'...how is it ?
-
We actually didn't need this review, everyone should and probably already know about this album, so, there isn't so much to say, except GET IT RIGHT NOW IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, AND SINCE IT'S NOT IN THE REGULAR SALE ANYMORE, DOWNLOAD IT, IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE ! IT IS THAAAAAAT GOOD ! NO MATTER THE LITTLE CINOS DIRTY EARS ! TIMELESS CLASSIC ! UNFORGIVEN PSYCHEDELIA ! THE VERY ESSENCE OF COSMOLOGY ! 20/10 AND EVEN THAT IS TOO SMALL GRADE FOR THIS... YEAH, THAT GOOD... Phew, that was nice, chilled talk about one of my favourite albums...
