SEED - 900 GHOSTS -
Someone asked me the other day if the noises and no beat in the track has any BPM, like some of IDM stuff. I believe that every track has its BPM.

PLANISPHERE - UNITED WE ARE -
I agree with you completely. I have to ask you one thing, why have you changed your signature ? You were so passionate about your forthcoming album and now it is delayed. What has happend ? Plus, the awakening of goa trance has already started, very slowly though, but it's happening.

Starcade - The Birth and Death of Civilization by Acid Fire
seraph replied to Otto Matta's topic in Free Music Promotion
May I notice Otto that you started to repeat yourself ? Soundwise I mean. The track is nice, I mind that sloppy transition between The Birth and Death part of the track. You could start using some different sounds, no offense, I quite like your retro touch, it just keeps repeating. Please don't get me wrong, you have a very inspiring mind, only you could use some variations in sounds. -
If there is concept, in the real sense of the word, I don't mind if the album is 30 minutes long, it is still an album, with thought.

It is, but those two are equal to gods of psychedelic trance, so that's why.

Ouch ! I haven't posted the review of one of my favourite albums in past few years ! A.W.E.S.O.M.E. !!! These guys simply never dissapoint. They made their most melodic and psychedelic album to this date. Their previous minimal worxxx were great as well, but this album is entirely on new level. Pure definition of dirty, psychedelic masterpiece. I have no time to get deeper in review about this album. It works as a whole, there are actually no favorite tracks here, they are all mind blowing. The keywords for this album are : FUNKY, DIRTY, PSYCHEDELIC, RETRO, PERVERSION. Very solid sound structures and lots of crazy moments. 11/10 without thinking about it.

Except of tracks with vocals that I simply can't get into it, this album surely is a refreshment in psy scene. I still think that tracks like WEEKEND WARRIORS, SPITFIRE and LESS IS MORE belongs to trance genre, despite most of people here saying the otherwise. I also like 1987 with its gentle touch and nice melodies. 2.A.M. is also very nice progressive track, reminds me a lot on last Vibrasphere. Those 5 tracks alone makes this album good enough so I don't just diss it. It surely has nothing to do with previous Ticon input, but for a change, it is nice. I quite like this swedish progressive acts going into more experimental realms, similar with last Vibrasphere, only he hasn't choose electro/house path. Quite nice change if you ask me, not the regular formula repeater. The only thing I fear is more producers choosing exactly this electro/house path these days which is also becoming a popular style. 7/10

I would never listen to dark psy or full on in the forest, that is like waste of time. Some ambient, downtempo, old school trance, dream trance, goa trance would be most appropriate for me. Every time I was tripping in the forest I brought cream crop of those music. You need something enlightening, melodic, spiritual, not random noizez thrown here and there, combined with heavy drum machines. Maybe some forest psychedelic trance would do, but not too agressive. But, different strokes for different folks. I am simply not able to enjoy in nature with fast, wild and too dark music. When you want to switch off the festival and go wander in the forest by yourself or with a friend the last thing you need is more violent beats. But, as I said, everyone thinks different.

I have no problem with any early stuff whether is old school trance or goa trance, that music back then defined the genre now, and even though the production quality is not as pleasing as nowadays, those melodies from the past bring positive vibes and much pleasant feel. I actually have hard time accepting the new stuff, cause it lacks depth and musical wisdom. I have hard time accepting copy/paste music and very rarely something innovative and engaging happens these days.

Go listen to CHILDREN OF THE LAST GENERATION and come back and say that is cheesy. I won't even comment about WE CREATED OUR OWN HAPPINESS... a little bit better ? It is frikkin' amazin'.

Hey Towelie ! What a nice track ! Really pleasant atmospheres, and nice melodies. Reminds me a bit on Eat Static downtempo tracks, and this is suppose to be a compliment... I have never heard your other tracks, but this one is such a surprise man... keep up with good work, this is most definitely worth it.

It was not released on DVD, you download or buy an album and play from very beginning.

Good point Pavel. I somehow agree, especially in the sense how antic described it. From psychedelic full on to electro minimal, they are versatile ! :posford:

rino, you are for sure one very eloquent guy, your sharpness in describing things seemed to amaze me ever since you registered here. Your arguments have always been on their place, and your wit exceeds your sharpness. I will always be glad to hear your arguments about music in future, you really seem like you know what you are talking about. The only thing I mind about your insights is that you seem like a guy that overcomes music easily. I always keep the classics deep inside myself, never overcoming real wonders of musical spectrum. Like for example, Richie Hawtin will always STAY Richie Hawtin.
