Yes, you made some points and I agree with most of them but not ALL of them behave like that...Maybe hippies in Nederland are so hard core, but the ones in India and few other places they haven't been smelly, dirty, or naughty or outrageous...They are barefoot but I have only see them barefoot on the beach and in the mountain...pretty obvious places for being barefoot...

I didn't notice any ACTUAL bad thing about them...They are all ( okay not all of course ) very friendly, open, crazy, direct kind of people, just the kind of people I respect most, considering the openess of mind...There are many theories of their not so 'clean' lifestyle and who knows what but it doesn't matter to me in fact cause most of them are FREE and OPEN and CREATIVE people. I don't care about anyone's status whatever it is if they are OPEN minded people. From all the hippies I met everywhere I saw them and in India in Himalaya and Goa I haven't met one 'creepy' one or 'agressive' one as they were presented in one of previous topics. I find it as prejudice to judge someone according to their lifestyle or way of life...it's so lame...You have your lifestyle, it's fine for you, it's great, they have their lifestyle, THEY feel good, you don't have to feel that way, no one is asking you too, so what is the big fuss...Live and let live.

Unfortunately I haven't heard his first album yet - DANCE FOR THE CELESTIAL BEINGS ( perfect name of the album BTW ) and I believe that it was great and next one, MONSOON was very delicate ethno tribal psychedelic trance album, with so many gentle, soothing melodies and very nice, tame atmosphere all around... His second album CELESTIAL SOUNDS AND TRIBAL BEATS was good but not as good as second one. He threw psychedelia completely and made even more ethnic and tribal album than previous one. It was nice journey though but nothing breathtaking. I only heard 2 songs from REGENERATED and they were nice songs, but nothing more than that. He started to make progressive house trance music recently and he is still good at it, but it lacks some energy and flow, he started making music for the clubs which is nice change but he does seem to get lost in all that too neat production and trying to 'keep it cool' mood...This was not against him, just stating my opinion...

Psytrance and spirituality lost its meaning and purpose many years ago. Now it's all about destruction, hate, death, ocassional sunshine behind the thick clouds, thunder, storms, dead lakes, empty spaces, forbidden planets. Now I like very much music to be made in those freestyle forms too, but to completely forbid spirituality, euphoria, passion, emotions, melodies, harmonies, structures, illusions and fairy tales, I could not dream or imagine when it slowly started to happen in 2001. People always rave about ' logical progression' and 'moving forward' but they don't realise that the more you move forward and don't come back again ( not in a retro way but modern one ), just for a little while, you tend to loose yourself in applying your ideas to SPOILED listener, making EXPERIMENT instead of PROJECT or better put CONCEPT. I don't want to be started flamed here, but I really do think that crowd is dictating the scene and most 'oldies' feel OPPRESSED when they see that very rarely someone care ( which is what I am surprised with cause I see so many psy and goa freaks every day ) to buy spiritual or emotional music anymore. I AM NOT for slashing people, brain damages and massive destructions to hear while I trip and dream and enjoy in my music, to me this genre and scene is all about spirituality, euphoria and emotions.

I only download old stuff that was released on few comps or rare albums that I simply CAN'T find anywhere or that are not sold anymore. I am all for downloading old classics that by this time are owned only by the first byers that happen to bought one of those copies among 'lousy' 500-1000 copies that they were printed in the GOLDEN era of UNDERGROUND where the best music was STRICTLY underground. That is one of the reasons I always felt sorry for timeless classics ( 94-00 ), cause after they print originally they only release next batch of copies on some remastered version many years later or not even release it at all. I don't bother downloading new albums at all, I can always listen to the samples at Psyshop or Saikosounds, plus it is not that interesting to download new albums cause I like that crispy sound of CD quality with new music. But I do admit that after I heard about Nystagmus album and how it sounds I was immediately tempted and queued it for download few days ago.

Yeah, forget about Eskimo, he is funny, talented but copycat kid. If you really want to revive your old forgotten days ( which I am confused you stop with listening to it at the best years... ) ,then check various sick, demented, chaotic, emotional masterpieces from 1994-2000, then continue to some mdoern stuff... There is plenty from all years...I was writing heaps of best releases replies and can't do it again, you just check red highlighted albums and compilations at the review section and you'll quite get the idea...

Probably at the Wailing Wall ( Western Wall )...
