My favourite is Phenomena for sure for having strong goa trance melodies and structures, but Asynja is close second cause after 2 rather mediocre albums ( Real Rush ( sorry for that ) and Northern Lights ) she again delivered pure goa trance album after so many years... Shame she is NOT producing goa trance anymore...

He is pretty good, trust me...I even saw him live...even though he reminds an awful lot on Infected Mushroom at first, his new songs sound quite different and you can say he changed his style a little bit...

I like all of the artists I mentioned but I made the poll since we all like to play and see the statistics...hehe...choose your THE ONE... After a lot of thinking between Astral Projection, Pleiadians/Etnica, Transwave, Chi-A.D. Dimesnion 5 and Hallucinogen, I choose Pleiaidians/Etnica cause of best melodic cyber psy music they made and number of albums and singles that were almost all top notch... I know I am the torturer but it is cute to see who will win here...since tastes vary so much...

I hope that most of you have heard for this side project of Tim Schuldt and even though he released only one EP called Karma ( 1996 ) with 3 songs on it, I have heard two, Karma 209 and Place On Earth, I think that those two songs are one of the best goa trance tracks I've heard from him. Karma 209 is long, hypnotic, psychedelic piece with lots of screaming 303 all around and incredible melody that is driving through whole song that is 11 minutes long. The other one Place On Earth I like even better since it is even more melodic and so emotional. I still have to find Lost In Time track cause I think it would be mind blasting as well... If you still haven't heard about these 2-3 tracks, find them if you are old school lover, this EP is essential in every collection, plus it has one of the best names of the project...

I cracked up when I read that about your father...it all goes in cycles and circles...I am sure that most of nowadays rock sound like a imitation of so many psy rock groups before... Stone Roses are great but I am sure that oldies will find it unoriginal in some ways...nevermind, that is why we have zillion of groups and new commers every day, to define and redefine the old structures of music...same goes for Bach, the original founder os PSYCHEDELIC music for me...and trance states now that sound so similar to it, no matter the general difference...

Well, moni, have you heard Mythical Vortex, compilation from Spindrift label Resonant Earth ? It is pretty dark, sinister compilation with most songs that sound old school actually...so, maybe you are right Spindrift, I used wrong term, but since everyone are using it nowadays, I used it for the poll...Moni, if you like dark but psychedelic and with the pinch of old school, get Mythical Vortex compilation, it is very good...
