So, I am sure that most of you already know about Oliver Lieb's second most popular project after LSG - Spicelab. Spicelab is truly one of the most spacey constructed projects. He is not improvising as much as with LSG, but he is rather using very strong psychedelic effects, lots of 303 and mesmerising ambiental sounds with incredible cosmic ideas hidden inside. His album A DAY ON OUR PLANET is one of the best ambiental trance pieces ever. I reviewed it here, very short review though but you MUST have that album. He released another two albums LOST IN SPICE which is also GREAT and SPY VS. SPICE which I haven't heard yet. But he had several singles - The Spirit Of Fear, Pyrospice, Hyperspice, Ant Attack, Amorph and many more and they are all very good ones. If you haven't heard about Spicelab and you like cosmic, spacey journeys, GET this as fast as you can but I imagine that is probably not available at the moment then find it and download it.

One great album, one average one and heaps of great singles, yes, but I can say the same about Oforia you mentioned... He released one great album, 2 average ones and 1 less than average but he has various projects too...same stands for Joti Sidhu you mentioned...he released LOADS of goa singles before an album, and even that album was pretty good one...

Chakra - His debut album with Edi Mis The Promised Land was one of the craziest albums ever, where after that he made 2-3 singles and no album at all, and he is still present in the scene... Sandman - He also released great debut album and heaps of great singles before but since Psycho toons nothing actually progressed. Xenomorph - I liked his first album pretty much but his last effort wasn't that interesting.

Ummm, yes, Liquid Mind is great for relaxing ! I used to play it on really low volume before I smoked Salvia...it is great for putting you inside the trip...

Hold your horses Journey Boy, those are tough words... 1) Simon doesn't suck ! Maybe he is burnt out with trance music but he is making amazing ambient music. 2) Twisted is not making twisted kind of music anymore but they surely make quality stuff nevertheless. 3) Infected put something to improve themselves ? WHAT ?

I still like Twisted but they seem that they are not that TWISTED anymore...but rather NORMAL.

So, I've heard that he plans to release an album later this year or the next year. Has anyone read any interview with him and heard actual estimation ? I know it doesn't matter in Twisted case, when the disc would be released cause of their delays and promises but that is one of the most anticipated releases for me, ever since 97 and his 'last' Hallucinogen album - The Lone Deranger. I checked Shpongle and Twisted sites and no news so I assumed maybe someone else knows anything.

It has but it is completely different style...While that was psy goa trance, this one is pure progressive...Great album for this summer...
