  6. Aha, sorry...There is too many discussions about hippies stinking around here these days so I assumed you meant that, sorry...
  7. Now that was bad thing to say... I met him and HE DOESN'T SMELL ! He is nice, egocentric guy, nothing else. It's not right to talk about how he smell in here...it's so immature !
  8. Ummm, yes...I think that the ones I mentioned definitely have theme, just think about it...They were not made as fillers albums...Blue Planet Corporation definitely has CONCEPT, and even strong one... Last thing you said sum it all, we agree, I wonder what you disagreed with in beginning...
  9. Isn't it the best to listen the engine running ? Joking, don't have a car, but the best one should be some regular trance like LSG, Spicelab, Art Of Trance, Hardfloor or any smooth psychedelic trance as the good old oldies ( Man With No Name, Astral Projection, MFG, Oforia )...From such drive you might as well watch wheter you'd make some crash since I would get lost in the music while driving and make some car crash.
  10. Yeah, I was wondering when will they release new album... It passed 4 years since the last one...
  11. Exactly...Classical Mushroom has that exact feel...concept of infected, deranged hallucinatory trip...
  12. Thanks for 'correcting' me antic, but we all have different perceptions of concepts. You are right about the albums you mentioned too, but I absolutely find the ones I and the rest mentioned as the ones with concept, it doesn't have to be some certain 'issue' to be conceptual...just the feel of an album and flow or story telling makes it also conceptual.
  13. Yeah, I also think you should go despite what I said...you can at least hear solid few hours and some good choice of songs in between for sure...
  14. Well, he used to play pretty melodic, psychedelic Goa trance, but these days he moved only onto dark, night psy with twisted flavours, so not so interesting since he likes only monotonous stuff plus he is mixing like little kid, 3 minutes each songs and off... But I have respect towards him, he is djing for ages and ages, and have done few great mixed compilations...
  15. What are most conceptual albums for you ? You know, the ones that have flow and story behind... Here are mine : Bodh Gaya - Ayahuasca Shpongle - Are You Shpongled ? Cydonia - In Fear Of Red Planet Blue Planet Corporation - Blue Planet Pleiadians - Identified Flying Objects Astral Projection - Another World UX - Ultimate Experience Juno Reactor - Labyrinth MFG - Project Genesis Cosmosis - Cosmology Sandman - Witchcraft Darshan - Awakening Shakta - Silicon Trip Chi-A.D. - Infinitsm COP - Urban Alien Oforia - Delirious and many more...
  16. Pfffff ! Not another average release ! Yes, this is as average as it can get. I don't like their full on outlet these days. I am dissapointed by EtnicaNet. Beside sympathetic remix to X-Files, as Basilisk said to have some old school flavour in full on set, there is nicey Unison track and last one by Filteria and PAN, there is nothing much to this compilation. Rest are fillers. I wasn't so impressed by Pleiadians Space Odyssey, even though it is good track...4/10
  17. THE AMBUSH - THE AMBUSH 1994 RECYCLE OR DIE 1. RAIN 2. CASABLANCA 3. MY NAME IS GOD 4. TERRA 5. JUNGLE FEVER 6. ATON 7. SUN Here is another project by the great german master, Oliver Lieb. Here he goes more tribal and made pretty clever structured tribal piece with lots of native indian influences. It is ambient all the way, doing different variations of tribal states. RAIN starts slowly, morphing constantly, having nice indian chanting and spacey Liebesque sounds everywhere. It is with SUN the longest one on album, 16:06 and it goes forever. He is setting the atmosphere right. He made RAIN as long intro and SUN as long outro. After very long, slow intro in the song, he added some rhythm and set you on the journey. It is driving and driving until you reach mountain top tribadelic climax that goes perfectly after minutes of preparing. Very good song. Pure tribal spirit. CASABLANCA was released as single and it is most commerical one here but so underground in style. It is also gentle in beginning until he again develops it into his certain style with spacey pads around you surrounding you and making you very comfortable. Mesmerising ! MY NAME IS GOD is pretty short but one of the most explicit one here. It has certain gentle dogmatic feel like the title suggests. It is one of the better pieces here, also building until chaotic flow of sounds by the end. Great ! TERRA is to me the best one on the album, with SUN. Here he made very crystal atmosphere with heaps of tribal influences mixed together with incredible celesial sounds and rhythms. Amazing song ! My favourite for sure...ambient and rustical all the way. JUNGLE FEVER is exactly how the title suggest, the fastest one and very concrete. Pretty good one. Very good for wild forest dancing. ATON is delicious piece of ambient work. It also describes the realm how is named after. You feel like you are surrounded by sea power and ancient civilisations merging together in tribalistic cream. Yummy ! SUN is the longest one here, 17:07 and could be said that is best song for having so many variations inside the track. He starts ambiental, with adding lots of tribal morning sounds, slowly sun starting to splash your face with endless, very long rhythmic show he is presenting by the end when it gets trancey even. Amazing, delicious ambiental trance work. Fantastic structure ! You did it again, Oliver ! He is truly one of the greatest pioneers of german trance culture and scene and he has my FULL respect, FOREVER. 10/10 for album for sure, for having so many innovative ideas for its time, 1994 we are speaking!
  18. How come they released this as their official third album with only 3 new songs ? I mean, it looks great, but I wouldn't call this regular album...with 3 new songs and 6 remixes... Still, I want to hear it badly !
  19. Some good choice of songs but from my knowledge they don't go one after another... Strange tracklisting...Who da fuck is Sandra Collins ¿ And WTF Anomally song is doing here ? I've heard original from Platipus, and it is dreadful, is this goa trance? Very strange tracklisting have to say...
  20. Cygnus X - Introspective Resistance D. - Skyline Stevie Be Zet - Blue Illusion ( Illumination Mix )
  21. Yeah, those singles on Exploring Another Reality are one of theirs best tracks... I don't have BUG yet but heard it is their best album. METER was rather dull and monotonous at a lot of stages but DRIVE was great, minimal, yet dark and gloomy artistic album...I like MOS...They make intelligent music....
  22. So, that is how much you hate Astral Projection ? Nitzhonot is one of the worst genres in trance music ever. The only group that made something quality in that style was Shiva Sidpao.
  23. First three for sure, but The Gathering beyond the rest.
