I've just realised I haven't commented anything for this release where I thought I did... I find it as a very unique release and even it is very minimal which I do mind from time to time, I think that whole concept and structure of the album makes sense and if you give more time and patience you might as well understand it. It is pretty dark with a lot of shallow, underground feeling....at some stages you might as well feel buried inside the spaceship. I would use more pads and effects if I was on their place but nevertheless this is unique experience and everyone should appreciate it as another Juno's brilliant effort...9/10

That was my initial prejudice at first but when I heard it it was actually very funny...I didn't mind it at all....of course it is nowhere nears as original, but it is funny, they haven't ruined it...

Actually, X-Dream remix exist, it is really crazy to correct someone that actually know about this music, but that remix is not released, I've only heard in their live act and to tell you the truth, it was almost better than original because it was more massive and demented....STUNNING ! I still haven't found it and only heard it once, but it was on the big system so it was some kind of enough.... Ooops, I forgot about one of my favourite remixes : Blue Planet Corporation - The Antidote ( Pleiadians Rmx ) - Best Rmx Ever Prana & Amanite FX - Black Rain ( Blue Planet Corporation Rmx ) Juno Reactor - Feel The Universe ( KoxBox Rmx ) - better than original actually Blue Planet Corporation - Micromega ( Bumbling Loons Rmx ) KoxBox - Life Is A Gas ( X - Dream Rmx ) X - Dream - Radio ( X - Dream Rmx ) Power Source - Granada ( 98 Rmx ) Message From God - Overload ( Asia 2001 Rmx ) Hallucinogen - Gamma Goblins ( GMS Rmx ) Infected Mushroom - Wider ( Astrix Rmx ) Xerox & Freeman - Angel Kaya Rmx Juan & Domi & Jorg - Spiritual Healing Rmx Astral Projection - Mahadeva ( John 00 Fleming Rmx ) Quietman - The Sleeper ( Man With No Name Rmx ) Salamander - Tempest ( Art Of Trance Rmx ) Humate - Love Stimulation ( Oliver Lieb Rmx ) Art Of Trance - Easter Island ( Cygnus X Rmx ) Illumination - Hope ( Oliver Lieb Rmx ) and the rest...

Well, to me, The Lone Deranger has some dark elements but I would rather call it twisted than dark. Twisted is some kind of darkness but it is fun darkness, so that is why it cannot be called dark music whereas Xenomorph is really dark with no fun at all, just plain seriousness and concrete ideas with minimal structure, but hey, he is german. I actually can't even compare two of those in any case...

Hey man, I've just been to Manali and am now in Goa. It is amazing place up in Himalaya. Now is the best time to go cause there is spring there too and it is very cozy and with god damn very nice people. I don't know about the parties though cause I left there just when the season was about to start. So, if you can go as soon as possible do it, it will be very good place to spend your spring or summer...BTW, visit Dharamshala for sure on your way...Cheers

Well, in that case Nightmare Trancer, if he started making cheese, he should change his name into Ellen Ripley...Haha
-
Yummy ! That are good news...And even though I can't get quite into QLIPPOTH because it is a bit too minimal and with bad mastering for my taste, it is still pretty good album with strong ideas behind. My favourite is also CASSANDRA'S NIGHTMARE and I don't expect to do same thing, I rather expect to take it to completely different direction which I am sure he will do. Let's wait, just not to get more minimal like on the second one but more psychedelic as his first one was.

Orichaclum and The Deviant aren't danes, they are french. Serge Souque from Total Eclipse was collaborating with them in The Deviant and Michel Farnault was in both Orichalcum and The Deviant, other two guys might be danes, not sure, Henrik Munch sounds more german to me and Jeffrey Jensen might be danish actually...

I agree with Basilisk about Koxbox/Psychopod....But if you don't have yet Colours Of Shiva 1,2 and 3 released on TIP, you should check it out...It is filled with such perfect psychedelic classics and they are my favourite comps of old school... BTW, Basilisk, did you mean to say that Orichalcum are Danes too or you were just reffering to Koxbox and Orion cause I understood you meant that Orichalcum are also danes...but I don't think you would make such mistake cause you actually know about trance...

Hey Mindtwister, if it is only released as a vinyl single how can I get a hold of it unless I download it ? BTW, I find it as one of the crazyest, demented melodic pieces ever in Goa...Amazing !
-
No wonder how I didn't know about it when I've only heard about Sun Trip comp vol.1...Huh, and this second phase sounds juicy...Lots of great tracks and some unknown ones...although second part of the second disc looks as a club trance disc...
-
I agree about Darshan - The Beast. It is very massive, banging tune... I have to add : Hallucinogen - Thugs In Tie - Dye ( it is only released as single, not even on one compilation...confused...) Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Orebro Freak Factory Cass & Slide - Diablo There are more...
-
Hey Colin, great news ! Just tell me man that it won't be full on album...I haven't heard any of your recent stuff so I have no idea what is your new output...
-
I am amazed that they announced release date and still no order information...huh...I really want to know what take this guys so long to release it ? Or is it just the tease for hard core fans to bite their nails ? If they release another Are You Shpongled ? album, than this will be fenonemal, I don't reckon they will dissapoint...
-
OD, Portishead reminds you on Juno Reactor ?!?!? Huh, man, i've never heard anything more crazy than that, sorry...not offending you, just absolutely gob smacked... Basilisk was right, Medicine Drum 'could' be it but it is not. It has tribal feel to it, but doesn't have Juno's dreamy scales.... There is really no group that can even remotley sound like Juno...I am not praising them, just they are too original for anyone to even make similar style... Check their collaborations with Don Davis for Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, that is a bit different Juno with classical touch...very interesting...

Tell me what you think about the reviews layout?
seraph replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in General Psytrance
I don't mind it at all...I actually find it better than previous forum reviews section...That one was more confusing than this one...here, you have a year and you just go there, like in the previous reviews section, only here is separated... But as I told you in PM, Lemmi, if you want to organize comps better, take the VA out completely and rename them into original comp name...if anyone see one name it would be obvious that is the compilation... -
Hehe, man, there is unfortunately and fortunately NO OTHER MUSIC like Juno's....Sorry to dissapoint you...
-
Hey Ormion, you are right for most of your tracks but I would add : Talking Souls - Place On Earth Evolution - Warriors Of The Light Planet BEN - Screwdriver Four Carry Nuts - Weird Egg Man Made Man - Delirium Ushuaya - Ushuaya Solaris - Out There Tristan - Reptile Mind Etnica - Rotating Fields Cydonia - Narco Nympho Non Zero - Antrax Sabotage Cypher - Riding On A White Rabbit Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom - On Earth Shaolin Wooden Men - Remember The Slime and many many more underestimated traxx...

No, I think that is another silly provocation by frustrated youngster that knows nothing about this music nevertheless...enough said...

Classics that are as good as they're said to be
seraph replied to Cinos's topic in General Psytrance
Cinos, it is always nice to hear your lovely opinions, but I noticed you are mentioning few albums non stop as your favourite ones, in various threads, even if you didn't make that list I would assume you'd like exactly those...So, it seems to me that you have no right even making these lists considering number of albums you have and that is very little. Such strong, harsh statments are for professional listener like for example ukiro....but from having 100-200 records it is a bit silly to have endless tries to convince us how ARE YOU SHPONGLED ? or GREEN NUNS albums are good and how bad IFO is...I don't want to sound to harsh now, but really, so many posts and topics and you speak the same things...Change the record man... Peace ! To me all albums deserve red mark in the review section except of the few new ones that are marked and aren't up to it, and there are HEAPS that aren't red but have to be and Basilisk practically mentioned most of them... -
MFG - WHY ? UX - PURE INTELLECT PSYCHAOS - INTELLECT SLIDE - UNSTABLE TECHNOSSOMY - V.T.O.L. HALLUCINOGEN - DARK MAGUS PLEIADIANS - HEADSPIN SOMATON - MONOGATARI SHAKTA - NEUROMANSER and of course heaps more, I won't get excessive...
-
Heh, maybe you should organise the sect of it...
