LIQUID TROLL kicks ass ! It is one of the best songs from the album. Real killer ! Whole album is great. What a shame they haven't made more music together or even if he co9ntinued making music as well. Ressurection and Search For God were great songs but they missed that demented, crazy feel from THE PROMISED LAND. And this version here is actually the remix of the song that doesn't even come remotely close to the original.

I don't agree Lemmi, I actually think that their second one is more on ZORBA side than GMS cause they use similar melodic strucuture as they use in ZORBA music. Their first album more sound like GMS but, hey, what a heck, they are good...It is silly to compare in any case. They do tend to make same music as GMS but this output is pretty nice and although it sounds immature in content and samples, the music and general feel is good.

I agree about their first album. It was fresh, very psychedelic without any pretentiousness as people were saying. Ok, there are some silly samples but isn't there a lot of artists that uses them too? It wasn't such a big deal for me either and I quite enjoyed the album except MESCALINE that I find very boring. All other songs are great but especially LSD, AYAHUASCA, ECSTASY, HASHISH, DMT...Their second album wasn't such a big dissapointment as Lemmi said, it just wasn't as good. They slightly changed that demented style they had from the first album and added more gentler melodies like Zorba kind instead of GMS and I enjoyed it as well. And again, I didn't like the only one with guitars - ACID FOR NOTHING. rest of the album was pretty nice and energetic...1200 Mics - 8/10, Heroes Of Imagination - 7/10

The only thing I have to say is that this Yellow Sunshine Explosion records are so funny using this name GOA for progressive and full on trance compilations...and it is even labeled as Goa Trance on psyshop...hah...I've never seen anything more funny...like calling Midi Milliz Goa Trance...Ridiculous

Yes, COP was amazing...whole album was great...in the same range as X-Dream albums ( HAPPINESS, RADIO )...BLOODSUCKERS !!!!!!! SHIVERS ! AMAZING ! Also NEW COP, EL NINO and ALIEN NATION both parts are great songs...Much better than The Delta as their side project. What a shame they didn't continue COP project.
-
Yes, previous one was a bummer but Schizoeffective was extremely intelligent album especially AS A CHILD I COULD WALK ON THE CEILING, THE THING, POP and TRAVELLING AT THE SPEED OF THOUGHT...Last album was way too minimal, I expect to maximise it a little bit.

Cosma's album is great, I haven't heard Suria album but I estimate is pretty good. Cosma made slightly better album than previous, a bit more dreamy. I like both of his albums but I prefer Non Stop a bit more than Simplicity although ambient song on first album is better than one on second...Cosma - Non Stop - 9/10
-
No, you don't need to pay anything. It was very simple thing when I was downloading. I can't remember now but you should ignore that pat thing and just keep going wherever it takes you...Hope to have luck for the next time...
-
Hey JC, I downloaded from Soulseek - www.slsknet.org...But you need to share some music there to be able to download. When you listen to the album, rite me an email about your feedback...
-
Phew ! I really thought that something strange is happening. At least to know that nothing inhuman is going on. Well, no wonder no one is bying his music in this period where new trance artists come every day...Most of them making pure bull shit. I feel sorry cause there is no space for respected artists and their music. Now, I feel bad for downloading his album but I simply had to hear it since I was waiting since 2002...Hehe...Nice to hear some kind of good news although it is bad that no one is bying it...

Yes, I didn't put my favourites from non psy trance : Future Sound Of London - Dead Cities The Orb - Orbus Terrarum Aphex Twin - I Care Because You Do Monolake - Momentum Tangerine Dream - Phaedra Shpongle - Are You Shpongled ? Future Sound Of London - Lifeforms Amon Tobin - Supermodified Prodigy - Music For The Jilted Generation Eardrum - Side Effects Robert Rich & Brian Lustmord - Stalker The Orb - U.F.Orb Monolake - Hong Kong Murkof - Martes Tangerine Dream - Rubycon Shpongle - Tales Of The Inexpressible Future Sound Of London - ISDN Dead can Dance - Spiritchaser Radiohead - Ok Computer Depeche Mode - Ultra Bjork - Remixes Massive Attack - Mezzanine Daft Punk - Homework Aphex Twin - Classics Hallucinogen - In Dub Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole Prodigy - The Fat Of The Land Phillip Glass - Kundun Soundtrack Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Digital Mystery Tour - DMT The Orb - Beyond The Ultraworld Dead Can Dance - Serpent's Egg Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine and many many more...there is so much good music around ! -
Well, John Cocco, I heard whole album cause I had to download. I didn't want to since he is the man I would really like to give my money but I had to do it, just cause of the urge and especially since I heard that no one wants to release it. I am sure too that he might had some minor inconvinience about his music changed. No one with such talent shouldn't compromise for anyone. And, yes, this is his best album for sure...All songs are great, and I mean all and they all have multi layered construction with loads of melodies spread all around. Black Light, Book Of Eden, Liquid Neon Sky and Hammerhead being my favourite ones, they all rock. It sounds like an album he should released it back then 97 - 00, but how unfortunate not to release it at all. I was wondering why Out Of Orion didn't continue to release his albums after Infinitism cause they started the label for some old school output. I don't know what happend to the guy but he obviously got turned off and quit making music for some time since nothing happend after 01 - 02 when he released those few singles from upcoming Earth Crossing that year...Shame !
-
Yes, there was a thread about him when I posted it few months ago and some guy answered me that no one wanted to release that album cause of old school feel to it. I was really shocked and amazed where the trance scene is heading to these days. It lost its spirituality and completely shifted to another dimensions, so, no, John Cocco, there is not going to be that good album. That's why I had to download it cause I had to hear those beautiful trax. You can at least do such favor to Chi-A.D. and at least go and hear his trax in that way...
-
I can also reccomend you Vibrasphere - Lime Strucuture cause it is really that good, but I am sure you have already Cosma and his 2 albums - Simplicity and Non Stop...They are both for the morning especially Yok Yok track...There is Zorba's album - Zorba that is very nice and it doesn't sound like GMS...Besides that there is not so trancey but rather relaxed Saafi Brothers - Liquid Beach. Cheers

How I understood Americans don't like anything that doesn't concern themselves. From what I've seen they are the most selfish country in the world considering art and quality things. They are allergic on quality. I don't say that all americans are like that but the global american feel is mostly based on their pop, mainstream, hip-hop, house and country music. They somehow can't relax with anything else that is not coming from their country. I think that NYC is the only different than whole America. There, they have open minds for every single thing...Hehe...

Yes, trance scene slightly changed, 'evolved' and got into some full on confusion. It has less and less melodies and more and more patterns, effects and same concept. Man With No Name hasn't made bad album, just mild one of his previous works, Astral made good album as well, not great as all others of theirs, but pretty catchy, varied album. Nowadays, Skazi, Xenomorph, Rinkadink, Space Monkey, Psychotic Micro and more and more new artists are ruling the scene, thru full on madness and 'some kind of intelligent' wilderness that actually is not going anywhere. It got mostly hysterical and pretty bland although productions are better than ever. So, I don't know which style you liked or artists but the best what you can get from past years could be this : ALIEN PROJECT - AZTECHNO DREAM 02 SPACE CAT - POWER UP 02 ASTRIX - EYE TO EYE 02 ASTRAL PROJECTION - AMEN 02 ALIENATED BUDDHA - INPSYDE 02 ELECTRIC UNIVERSE - UNIFY 02 BAMBOO FOREST - RANDOM FUTURE 02 1200 MICS - 1200 MICROGRAMS 02 LOGIC BOMB - UNLIMITED 02 SYNTHETIC - 100 % PURE 02 ALTOM - HOLOGRAM 02 SAIKO POD - PHUTURES AND OPTIONS 02 GMS - NO RULES 02 COSMA - NON STOP 03 PSYSEX - COME IN PEACE 03 VIBRASPHERE - LIME STRUCTURE 03 FRACTAL GLIDER - DIGITAL MANDALA 03 INFECTED MUSHROOM - CONVERTING VEGETERIANS 03 YOUNGER BROTHER - A FLOCK OF BEEPS 03 HYPER FRQUENCIES - RED CRYSTAL MOON 03 WIZZY NOISE - ELECTRO THEATER 03 PSYDROP - FANTASY SEEDS 03 MENOG - NATURAL BEHAVIOUR 03 JIRAH - OUTER ACCESS 03 ZORBA - ZORBA 03 JUPITER 8000 - TWISTED BLISS 04 WIZZY NOISE - STEREO ELECTRIC 04 ELECTRIC UNIVERSE - COSMIC EXPERIENCE 04 HALLUCINOGEN - IN DUB 02 ENTHEOGENIC - ENTHEOGENIC 02 TOIRES - SANATI 02 JESS M - DIGIDELICA 02 SHULMAN - SOUNDSCAPES AND MODERN TALES 02 SHPONGLE - REMIXES 03 OTT - BLUMENKRAFT 03 SAAFI BROTHERS - LIQUID BEACH 03 ENTHEOGENIC - SPONTANEUS ILLUMINATION 03 SHULMAN - IN SEARCH OF MEANINGFUL MOMENT 03 CARBON BASED LIFEFORMS - HYDROPHONIC GARDEN 03 and be sure to get second part of THE MYSTERY OF 13 CRYSTAL SKULLS called SECRET OF 13 CRYSTAL SKULLS...or some compilation from GMS new label SPUN, they made few cute compilations...or some SOLSTICE compilations..So, all in all, it got more progressed and intense with better production and crisp sounds but it somehow lost its original touch...Enjoy !

To me some Darhsan sounds like Pleiadians so, I would pick that one up...Or old Shakta and Miranda...Or Transwave & Astral Projection together...I liked your choice of Hallucinogen & Koxbox too...
-
Yes, Headcleaner was great, but I also liked Overlap that was smooth and groovy.
-
No, I think that progressive goa is not some genre but more the way they made music, pushing borders in layer structure and taking it to the higher levels. Like melodic old school with psychedelic effects and stronger basslines...Great examples of progressive goa are for me Shakta - Lepton Head ( Deedrah Rmx ), Etnica - Trip Tonite Rmx, Astral Projection - Power Gen ( Live Mix ), Etnica - Hell's Kitchen, F.L.A. - Evil Playground ( Tim Schuldt Rmx ), Crop Circles - Full Mental Jackpot ( Pleiadians Rmx ), MFG - Why ?, MFG - Process Irreversible ( Passenger Rmx ), Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Lord Of The Dance and many others massive, melodic pieces of artworks. It is mostly made between 98 - 00.

Haha, that would be funny...Tsuyoshi really suks big time now...I have some Joujouka singles from 2-3 years ago and even then was shitty. I couldn't believe that Tsuyoshi sold himself so cheaply. What a shame to waste such talent they shared for Prana and 2 great albums they made...I can't believe that it lasted so short in any case...but, what a heck...they at least produced some good trax...
-
To me, it just seems like another trick. Why would you get his 10 unreleased trax now? It sounds too good to be true and almost impossible cause they guy waited 7 years to make an album. He is certainly not going to spread it around so early...So, explain us more about such mystery...
-
Well, after their previous effort, Send In, Send Back, I don't actually care about them. That album was pretty boring in fact. Not even close to Schizoeffective that was very good...If they continued making stuff like AS A CHILD I COULD WALK ON THE CEILING which is one of the best psychedelic songs ever, they would become some name by now, but instead they focused on minimalism and it simply doesn't go. Same goes with X - Dream and Irritant that was soooo boring !
