Yes, it is real shame when artists decide that. I could never understood what to hell happend when such talented and quality musicians suddenly stop making music. The only thing that fells on my mind is that is might be cause of ego and egocentrism cause they certainly don't run out of ideas...Heheh...I am also sorry for Green Nuns, UX, MFG, Mindfield, Witchkraft, Orichalcum, Power Source, Koxbox ( since recently ) etc. So, I don't know, maybe new comers "politely" asked the original artists to step off the scene cause their music is no longer in fashion and we all now that the audience is dictating the artists and that very rarely artists except Astral Projection, California Sunshine, Electric Universe still hasn't changed their style just cause they have their "fixed" audience and don't care about the fashion. I am very glad for that and I don't mind cause they don't change cause at least they are keeping their tradition of sound. There is so many new artists that has great production, pretty good mixing and editing, and stunning patterns and effects used in music but the real TRANCE SPIRIT still lies in spirtual pumping driven melodies, soundscapes and lower kick pattern that always give perfect trance condition and state for a real trance listener. All deviacies of trance sound like MINIMAL or for that matter even PROGRESSIVE do distort the sound and somehow minimize the trance in it...I TRULY HOPE THAT SOMEONE OF ALL OF THOSE ARTISTS WILL REAPPEAR AGAIN cause we ALL MISS THEM !

Well, there are heaps of gropus that just vanished after mind blowing releases : N.D.M.A. - 2 Brilliant songs and poof ! What a shame ! COLORBOX - 1 Album and that's it ? Huh.... RA - He also made 1 album, promised from the interview another two and nothing happend. SHIDAPU - 1 album and few singles, pretty little considering 4 talents behind it... PRODENYA - This Israli group made one GREAT track and stopped, but moved onto other styles - BABAGANOOSHKA... UX - 1 BRILLIANT, MIND BLOWING P.E.R.F.E.C.T. ALBUM and split ? Come on guys, you can do better than that, although SLIDE was pretty good as welll, but also ONE album ! There are heaps of one song/album groups, I don't have time now to name them that I feel very sorry that aren't functioning anymore...

Yes, I agree with Kiph here... Very good bit of those shirts are good and modest if I can say and I find all those colorful shirts a bit bad actually cause you do look like some tropical bird and not trancer at all... It is better to be clever then pretentious and those shirts aren't pretentious....And I am sick of negativity E.P. is spreading. I understand that that is your honesty E.P. but it is a bit arrogant and pretentious...Better concentrate on making music than on fighting with kids...

Yes, I don't mind their diversity too, only if they didn't soften a little bit for CV but it was pretty good after all, it wasn't bad or something, just wasn't agreessive or crazy full on we are used to from them but rather lighter album which I don't mind. And this child that calls them stupid is obviously very young or very immature to even acknowledge what is good or bad in trance.

Of Course I'd get it...Old school will never die, no matter when it is produced and how ! BTW, Pleiadians - Inner Space was good, but nothing spectacular, it had the same full on beat as there is nowadays, and it still lacked some more melodies...It wasn't bad but it surely wasn't a classic. I hope EXPLORER is going to be slightly more diverse than that...

No, those songs are the only ones, I've checked myself and couldn't find it anywhere...Yes, VITAN is to me one of the best GOA TRANCE songs ever made...It is enchanting and very psychedelic...THE ANSWER is slightly different, worse production and not GOA enough but it is still great...BTW, they are germans, which is pretty strange...

Yes, Sandman is great! His Psycho Toons was good but nothing that spectacular for me, but his earlier stuff like G-FORCE, TRIPULOGIC, STARFINDER, END OF THE WORLD and HIGHWAY 101 are one of the most intelligent psychedelic trax, Sandman, if you're reading this, go back to your old style, it is much more varied than PSYCHO TOONS. The scene is not dead, first...It is just suppressed by new standards. I am also great GOA, especially OLD SCHOOL GOA TRANCE and PSYCHEDELIC GOA fan and I do feel bad that is not made anymore, but I also don't mind the new styles. There are lots of new stuff that are very quality too no matter cause of hyper production of more and more people. Yes, the music was before much more spiritual and concrete but there are lots of new, intelligent, fresh stuff as well, so I am on both fronts about PSY scene. I like 'em both. But, still, nothing from anything modern doesn't match to anything that was made until year 2000...

Yep, it is mostly FULL ON style these days with some twists or cross genres, but basically, first guy was pretty right saying that it is mostly minimal sounding with trown basslines and few melodies.
