I fully agree with rino, and same goes for trance producers, most of trance producers dj, but they actually suck at, I say they should stick to producing only, and let the DJ's only to dominate in their field.

Think twice before even comparing her to Lisa Gerrard.

You know what I've realised ? Being optimistic in the scene brings more dissapointments than surprises. I choose to hate them until they prove the opposite.

I practically like every ambient genre you named and whenever there is some quality release, I enjoy in it as much as possible. I agree with Time Trap of not including the essence of old school ambient music : Brian Eno, Robert Rich, Steve Roach, Brian Lustmord, Pete Namlook, Geir Jenssen, Tetsu Innoue, Bill Laswell and the likes...
