  1. I love his work, especially the early one, since he started in 1997. He was releasing for Transient and Rumour before he made his own label Organic Records. He is very good psychedelic producer with the pinches of progressive. I like his style, it is refreshing and full of ideas. Get his stunning album DON'T PANIC from 2002.
  2. Are you talking about Synchro ? He is Caucausian Dutch, not black man from USA.
  3. I have in any case lost my hope about this album, nevermind the delays.
  4. I agree, vocals sucks, not on their first album but more on the recent ones, especially CYDONIA.
  5. Ouch ! Bite your tongue ! I wouldn't even compare them with anyone, they are unique, independent. But what struck me most was this sentence : ' Still, I would trade my whole collection of FSOL and Orb CDs (if I still had them) for In Sides. '
  6. Oi Snaaap ! When I saw poll result, I somehow guessed that you were the only one that voted for ISDN, have no idea why... As for the singles, I think that they are all worth it, cause they are like mini albums, concrete, variable arrangements of their tracks, done as journeys... get them all, trust me !
  7. Uh, tough choice, I love them both equally... but since there is still some psychedelia around existing, I would go for melodic...
  8. I know that there are polls about various artists already, but since there is THE ORB appreciation topic, I had to make FSOL as well... What is your favourite FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON / AMORPHOUS ANDROGYNOUS release ? I like them all, except THE ISNESS / THE OTHERNESS which I only find ok, nothing that special. I didn't like their new mello hippo hippy new age input and even though there are some nice chilled tracks on it, I still think that it lacks some substance... DEAD CITIES is most definitely my favourite album by them, followed of course with LIFEFORMS and ISDN...TALES OF EPHIRINA is another perfect album and it was released after ACCELERATOR and before LIFEFORMS. With that album they incorporated all of the well known FSOL sounds and atmospheres. ACCELERATOR is their most commerical attempt but for its time ( 1992 ) I imagine that it was pretty innovative album. Here is their full discography : FSOL - ACCELERATOR ( 1992 ) AA - TALES OF EPHIDRINA ( 1993 ) FSOL - LIFEFORMS ( 1994 ) FSOL - ISDN ( 1995 ) FSOL - DEAD CITIES ( 1996 ) AA - THE ISNESS ( 2002 ) AA - THE ISNESS & THE OTHERNESS ( 2004 ) They had a long pause between 1996 and 2002 due to one of the members physical illness where he had to go to India to cure himself, so that is why no wonder their last album has strong indian and new age influence. The guys obviously decided not to be that apocalyptic as with their previous one DEAD CITIES and decided to take rather positive direction in their music production. By the way, for what I respect them most is cause they did all their music, video clips, visual design and other technical stuff all by themselves with amazing help of Buggy G. Riphead as their visual designer. They have also released numerous singles, like short albums, mostly 30-35 minutes long... Here is the singles discography : PAPUA NEW GUINEA ( 1991 ) EXPANDER ( 1992 ) CASCADE ( 1993 ) LIFEFORMS ( 1994 ) THE FAR - OUT SON OF LUNG ( 1994 ) MY KINGDOM ( 1996 ) WE HAVE EXPLOSIVE ( 1997 ) PAPUA NEW GUINEA : TRANSLATIONS ( 2002 )
  9. Most of them quitted making music, or they simply lack any ideas and moved onto something else in their lives. I was always wondering the same thing myself, whatever happend with all those many groups that were in the days producing few singles and nothing more, not even a single album... There were so many artists doing various collaborations, making unknown labels and keeping the spirit....now all of them are gone...
  10. ORBUS TERRARUM - By far their most psychedelic and hypnotic album... Perfect ! U.F.ORB - Cosmic, spacey ambience, their second best for sure ORBLIVION - This one is most commercial from their golden era but it is still so trippy !
  11. HARDFLOOR - WHO TOOK DA BOX ? If you haven't heard it, GET IT !
  12. Yeah, the original is amazing anthem of trance genre, but that 99 remix is one better constructed and for sure more spacey than the original...
  13. And he doesn't do that with the other albums ?
  14. Yes, it's the one from PARADISE CONNECTION - PORTAMENTO... Maybe his best track by now...
  15. Huh, this is really hard choice Anoebis... Ummm, I am still thinking about it.... Argh ! I could say STARDIVER closely followed with ONE LOVE and PARADISE CONNECTION
  16. You don't have to understand...just don't even try to listen to them then...
  17. Awesome ! I loved Quality Relaxation and I am sure this will have the same quality ! Way to go PKS !
  18. I don't even need to say it... IFO all the way closely followed with ALIEN PROTEIN and FAMILY OF LIGHT...
  19. There are no bitches, only the dissapointed ones...
