  1. I shoot love to everyone who suggested in this amazingly loved thread
  2. Omg... Space Buddha - Land of the Wolves How can anyone think of something like this :S
  3. Well, yes maybe it has to do something with me not having a good sound card. But overall, it's harder to hear the difference between a proper 320kbps mp3 and a CD, but once you spin mp3's on a big festival with huge amplification of the sound, I will almost guarantee you that you'll hear the difference. Same goes if you play a CD via a good super-fi installation, and afterwards the mp3. I think that what is a theory, is that a sound system capable of turning a CD into vinyl 'sound' is much harder to arrange and pay then a good vinyl-playing sound system. So many people 'tend' to go much faster for a vinyl, before attempting to go for the CD sound. Also, I guess if you put a very good CD system next to a very good vinyl system, you'll hear the warmth of the vinyl, but ofcourse, some prefer the crisper and crystal-clear sound of a CD. But that is a matter of taste By the way, how was the test conducted on isratrance, did the contestants get blindfolded and listened to audio or how?
  4. Right now I'm aiming for these: Electric Universe - Cosmic Experience http://www.discogs.com/release/250050 I will get this at any cheap cost! Lamat - Fearless no discogs link yet :S I'm doubting between this and his debut album, I downloaded his full album adn it sounds great, I guess I could dl his first... Space Buddha - Full Circle http://www.discogs.com/release/757264 Have to dl the full album to see if it's as good as the samples edit: dunno, too clubby for my taste, but worth buying. Talpa - The Art Of Being Non http://www.discogs.com/release/340107 Dunno why I wrote that down, but somehow it appearred in my wantlist the other day :S The list will be updated soon perhaps.
  5. If I would spin, I would prefer CD's. Why? because 80% of PsyTrance releases are on CD :\ And I mentioned Krell stating that he can't hear the difference between 320 kbps encoded mp3 file and a vinyl track. That's just weird, or maybe you don't have proper sound gear (amplification, speakers, needle, element, etc.)? When I compare a 320kbps mp3 with a CD track, I immediately hear the difference, and the same goes with a decent vinyl track. Tho I listen thrue my Sennheiser HD-25, so that may be the cause?
  6. Wow, thanks people for those great suggestions! I'll try to listen to all of those if I find the time, right now I'm kinda busy with my school project edit: I found this release quite by accident: http://www.discogs.com/release/567071 It's kinda cool, lot of variation and track 4 just kicks ass! http://www.wirikuta.at/web66/product_detai...owDetail=105021 And this is also strangely nice: http://www.wirikuta.at/web66/product_detai...howDetail=56753
  7. I prefer trying before buying Your suggestion is noted, thanks!
  8. Hi peeps, What I mean is, something similar as the melodic part of Space Tribe & Electric Universe - Alkaloid Experiment, but with better kicks and full on sound. So no morning stuff, just hard-hitting melodies! (Cheese prohibited) Warm greets and TIA, appa
  9. Most people who want to listen to really good darkpsy mostly find good quality In almost every genre and style you have good quality and lesser, so it's not a big deal actually. Just feel the flow and energy and you'll get what you want eventually
  10. Hi, Do you guys/females species/sheep know a place where you can buy this but with a multi-output? Thanks in advance, appa
  11. Damn, just look at this! 126 replies of people dissing possible idiots. Don't you have like... yourself already to worry about? :S The message is already heard, those fools look stupid and don't have a chance of possible succession, ok. It won't make it any clearer by saying it three million times
  12. Dunno, haven't heard it yet. But my friend tells me it's a good track. IMO I have nothing against 1200. Ok, they're cheese most of the time, but the least you could do is interpret it in a funny kind of way. They're at least better then Skazi
  13. Nope, didn't say that I thought that I hope that I can get gnotr anywhere, I've heard they started those 16th note basslines right? With rare I mean in The Netherlands, where you have to go for a holy grail search adventure to find stuff like Skazi etc. Didn't see them on eBay and the one on discogs was 30 bucks so that's why I thought But then again, everythings is rare here so
  14. HW wise, this synth provedes a pretty good sound programming I've heard: http://www.sequencer.de/syns/radikal/Spectralis.html
  15. Mkay, in that case I'll be checking the mp3 version of it (if I can find it). But for instance, SP23 / Spiral Tribe's original records are worth more then ever today, and that's because they were the first who started the 'free' scene and toured with their sound system all around UK (and later EU). Also, I think that Green Nuns of the Revoultion CD's are rare, especially the RBM or the Green Nunions EP?
  16. I've read it once when I wanted to know more about it... but even then I didn't believed it
  17. True, but I doubt some one will do a really great Goa Trance track on Fruity Loops 1, in comparison with... let's say Logic Pro? I will check it out when I find time somewhere (I know I left it somewhere on the couch!)
  18. Not quite, but I have this: http://www.discogs.com/release/165392 Wow... thanks for your unique expertise! But furthermore, no special story behind it? Like, God himself has hand-numbered the copies or something?
  19. Forgive me for my retardness, but why is Dimension 5 album sooo rare and sooo wanted?
  20. Well, I think he used people as different tracks on his AAW (Acoustic Audio Workstation)
  21. Ahh yes, It's easier to sit before your DAW, put something that sounds good on your sequencer/tracker, add a melody, bass effects etc. and watch it become a song. But if you have figured out that sweet unique tone in your head first, it is nearly impossible to emulate it on your prog, that's why it's of importance to master one's gear before one can make up to one's thoughts A common problem most of us have
  22. I've just received my Sennheiser HD-25's OMG!!1 The crispness is just killing me I know what I'm gonna do tonight....
  23. Holy crap, I think this is how I won't use FLS for a while Do you also have some finished songs? @ Taika-Kim, listening now to Goddess Guerrilla album, amazing how you've achieved that on a open source prog
  24. Don't even DARE to touch that sample! The Astrix remix of the song is just an anthem, and a damn solid song construction as well. I mean, come on, the intro just makes the days of people. And think about it, drug samples are really logical actually. Take LSD for instance, it's a great drug which extremely broadens your perception on things, it's a unique experience, so why not make songs about it? There are also love songs on the planet yes? Then why the hell not these babies? @ Pavel, check out Altom - Kompakt (French Connection album), it's the good use of Eastern vocals
  25. I'm dling right now /edit: Cool, very different and original approach! I think a new style is born: Arcade Goa Trance The first track reminds me of those Finnish melodic black metal bands with keyboards Very worth checking, and highly recommended!
