    a dream

Still it's they who present their music for us, the people who enjoy listening to the artist. You also don't go to a party where the DJ is just playing music that he wants.
  2. Congrats, good luck, have fun and fishsticks!
  3. You know, you could go to a special installation here, and the professional ear-people there test your ears. It's free, but I don't know how that is in your country. My friend could hear up to 21 khz :S Wow, I just woke up now from a day nap dreaming that I was on vacation, on a planet on a farm with only Polish people
  4. Damnit, wich I could produce tracks nicely. Ah well, patience and performance
  5. Atm I'm using FLS 6 to create a hardtechno/industrial hardcore track. It's quite ok, but I haven't mastered it, so my opinion is futile here But I kinda agree on what nemo said, it's not so much compared to the 'big guys'
  6. God, I can't believe this topic exists for this long, and they haven't mentioned http://www.discogs.com/image/R-29548-1146674168.jpeg Highest charthitting psy trance ever this far I believe.
  7. Death Metal and Psy Trance are based on whole lot of different principles. Hence the people on each 'side'.
  8. Nah, I'm oldskool to other disciplines But nice reading material
  9. Aha... But don't you worry there, as long as you don't overexceed the limit with your headphones, and as long as you wear some buttplugs for your ears, all shall be just fine
  10. As long as there's no big difference when you pull your headphone off to hear the vicinity, it's fine
  11. I'm happy I'm one of those who realised in time, being deaf is not comfortable when being a possible future sound engineer
  12. XSI - Overzone Though Warning Zone has caught my ear first
  13. Usually, if you start hearing a peep tone after a long time of loud sound, it's a bad thing (i.e. you should turn down the vol next time). Also, your hearing of higher frequencies takes a faster toll then the others, so be aware! And furthermore, try not to listen to music at levels where your inner earsdrums (slightly) start to itch.
  14. Talamasca - Rosswell Mania Yes yes, cheese all the way, but HOLY CRAP at 03:40 the magic starts to happen
  15. Erm.... either this or that Raja didn't add a significant deal of music into Shpongle? It's simpler to say so
  16. So... To summarize this week's buyings: First this one in a rare shop in Amsterdam: http://www.discogs.com/release/621231 Kick ass melodic full on! WOOAAAA!! (Well, that's what I thought when I smoked that .8 gram) Then I got this baby thru mail from a Dutch hardcore/gabber shop: http://www.discogs.com/release/90941 Which I'm listening right now, really dark and melodic, very nice! And I got this with it too! http://www.discogs.com/release/231582 Very deep Goa. Pound Pound Pound Pound... And this is the tenth day, and I'm still waiting for the Wirikuta shipment >(

    Full on

Erm, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Full-On characterize high-tempo thrashing laser kicks with squelched melodics and psychedelica? If so, it's better to make a song above 146 right?
  18. So... it runs in the jeans heh?
  19. Got this finaly via mail from a dutch gabber/hardcore record store together with http://www.discogs.com/release/231582 grams rule
  20. Hmm, got stoned on some good stuff last night and listened to Various - The French Connection. It was nice, I could decipher the music clearer and slowly they became visuals and before I knew it, I was dreaming.... dreaming basslines! I hate to admit it myself, but psytrance has more features when combined with certain smokable substances.
  21. Typical for psytrance are lasers, projections, fluor and some cool psychedelic lighting. Though I would like to see strobes in the above list, you know, in case it gets 300+ bpm?
  22. Speedcore with strobe is essential, and so is wicked sick DarkPsy But anyhow, I don't think that strobe is very well suited with styles such as morning psy, or progpsy so...
  23. I've bought Sanatonic Audio recently, and really enjoyed it. I know SR is producing the same kind of tracks, but is it really worth buying it?
