Process' new cd

There is supposed to be a new CD out by Process, as of last October. I can't find it or the tracklist anywhere. Does anyone have any info?

no, i don't think he is talking abou that process. sean williams mentioned in his interview here that there was an album coming tentatively titled Superior Technology on a San Fran trance label (can't remember the name, but i think they recently released that american rotation compilation). there is a new process track on the shane gobi compilation (for another label whose name i can't remember, something about sorcery or alchemy). the track is called integration, and it as an absolute mind-killer. if the album sounds like that we are in for a treat. (would like to know if that track is going to be on the album or not, so i can decide if i need that comp or nor.) i am also dying for the next process album. this guy makes serious no-holds barred outdoor psychedelia. for mental music, this guy represents the next level in my book. any news?

"Process aka Steve Barnes is a respected member of the English electronic-scene for now over three years. Alongside Peter Ford, SND and Matthew Herbert he has developed a specific English style of minimal dance music. His modern and groove orientated music deals with abstract sound design, sometimes non-rhythmic, sometimes rhythm led. The overall concept underlying the 'Process Sound' is to explore music´s relation to space and therefore picks on the heritage of true English Minimalism such as LFO, Sweet Exorcist etc. He has released three breathtaking 12"s since 1999 on the Cologne based label Traum: 'Integ', 'Process Remixes Elektronische Musik Aus Buenos Aires' and 'Horizon' which have had an overwhelming response. Since then process has build up a worldwide following, consisting of people interested in abstracts sounds as well as clubbers who seek the unorthodox four to the floor beat. Sven Väth's radio show on hessen 3 has highlighted his work here in Germany, as has The Wire in England and several magazines around the globe. Apart from his Traum records he released on Fat Cat in 2000 the CD & vinyl album Shape Space, a split EP with Dat Politics and on the Hefty label, the American equivalent to Fat Cat, 'Immediate Action Series'. my point exactly. just because another process exists and is coming out with an album does not mean the psytramce process is not. so let's ignore this steve barnes impostor for a moment and find out when the real PROCESS aka Sean Williams is bringing out his new album (i think on Spectral Concepts).

The "other' process isn't exactly half baked eighter. Many probably thought it was the psytrance process since pattern recognition sounds a bit like the experimental ambient dub of Ooze.

 

So imposter or not, the album is worth checking out...
