Guest [tom jaimz] Posted February 12, 2002 Posted February 12, 2002 Dickheads! All this might seem like a fun game to you, but in the long run it's the toaster industry that's going to be hardest hit. I mean, it's fine to maybe use your friend's toaster when you're around at his place, but PLEASE, buy your own toasters if you like your friends! And most of the unreleased toasters are unreleased for a reason - either their faulty, or the market simply isn't ready for them yet. A lot of them don't even have the correct voltage applied by an electrician yet! But the important thing is that in the toaster industry it's innovation and design that sets the best toasters apart from the rest - and if you guys go around trading pictures of unreleased toasters, they'll lose that edge! Just wait, visit your local applicance store regularly, and see the toasters when they're available to the public. Leave the unreleased stuff to the representitives of the toaster manufactures, and the designers of the toasters. I've been using toasters for many years now, and I know several people who have begun to experiment with their own toaster designs - when they give me a few GIFs of how their toasters are going to look, they don't want just anyone to see that! Otherwise it loses its value, and no toaster company, not even a cheap Asian knock-off bran, will accept it! Quote
Guest phaeton Posted February 12, 2002 Posted February 12, 2002 here are some more unreleased toasters from my collection, please do not share them on kaazaa or morpheus !!! please share your unreleased toasters with me !!! Quote
Guest [tom jaimz] Posted February 12, 2002 Posted February 12, 2002 If anyone's thinking of trading unreleased recipies with Zaramatu, I should warn you - he tried to give me a few Thai Soup recipies that he promised would remain unreleased for a long time, and I actually believed him [the chili content was so high, I wouldn't think the public was ready for them], but when I cooked up one of the soups recently one of my friends recognised it - it had been released three years ago by a small Japanese publishing firm! I mean, sure, the name was slightly different, which is how I'd been so easily duped, but I'm just saying if anyone's going to trade recipies with Zaramatu, be careful! That said, he has some excellent Mongolian Yak curries. Quote
