What do you consider to be a Psytrance Club? The only one I know of is probably the Natraj Temple. And if you mean just indoor psytrance parties, exactly how are people supposed to keep a scene alive when outdoor parties are simply not possible [ie, winter - which lasts for about nine months in most European countries]?

It's soooo much more fun to look for an original cool location, where you don't know what to expect, imo, the location is a great part of the deco ...

 

How can you compare a club with , for example, a castle ... caves ... old abandon factories ... deserted forests ... an old prison ...

sure there's nothing better than an outdoor party but a psytrance club would be nice too. at least in winter. i don't know any but if there would be one i don't think they would play different music than at a normal party. because if they would, then it were not a psytrance or goaclub.... and if could also change the deco and stuff so it wouldn't be that boring.

We have one in Denmark, called The Tube. Never been there, don't really like the idea of disco. I only go to the parties with live acts...

Everybody prefers a good nature party, but sometimes it just can't happen: Weather, Cops, there are enough reasons. Don't forget that sound quality is much better at a club. It doesn't always have to be commercial.

There's tons of them here, and for the life of me I can't figure out WHY someone could be against them. Am I only to be allowed to listen to psy at high volume for 3 or 4 months a year? Even then, the last party of the summer ended out with sub-freezing temperatures in the middle of the night. You think I'm going to be able to go to an outdoor show in January?!

 

Indoor shows are what connect September and April.

No this topic is bullshit.

 

I live in Munich where we have the Natraj Temple (already mentioned above). So we will enjoy in the next fey weeks Total Eclipse and later on GMS (we had Pied Piper and all the other big names into psy). And we have them indoor and in winter time. Hey man this is f*cking cool. What should I do if this club wouldn't exist? Yes oa's are the real @!#$ but why not enjoying club nights?

 

As most of you guys know, Munich is a very rich, conservative and mainstream city. What I wanna say is: Psytrance is and will be underground although we have the only resident psy-club in gremany. So I enjoy my weekends in winter and in summer I'm moving to switzerland where definetly the best oa's of the worls are taking place :-)

where i live (barcelona,spain) we have like 3 clubs, one has had good spanish psytrance acts like psycho abtract and alienated buddha, another which only opens on friday nights and another which is on a main street where there are lots of bars and crap clubs.....

In Holland there aren't any castles, old abandoned factories, deserted FORESTS, old prisons, because the country is too small and if a location is vacant, there will be a new company in within half a year.

 

I think it's cool to have your own club, but you have to make sure you keep the candyravers and the press out. When you have those in too often and write to positive OR to negative, the fun is over...
